Please allow me to apologise for this very late reply. It seems like your inquiry somehow got lost in our inbox-system. We are aware of a few usability issues for the BeoMusic app for Android, that for some people may make the app unusable. Please be aware that we are working on a software update for the BeoMusic app for Android. However by now I am unable to say when the software update is ready to be released. Until the software released you can go to your app-settings every time you are unable to connect to the app, empty the cache of the app and try to connect again. I've got no idea why other people rave about there being bugs, since it works perfectly fine, except for its speed, or lack thereof, rather. It takes ages to make initial contact with the B&O product
Need the update as this app does not work on any android phones. App says update available November 1 let's go get it going.
Total failure on connection! The iOS version just works fine under exactly same network though! To B&O (or Beoplay more precisely? Cuz I cannot feel any attention paid to M5!) : If you haven't or cannot get software ready, DO NOT launch a new product! Another surprise: want ToneTouch in Beoplay to fix the ridiculous bass of M5? Forget it!
Pros: It usually works. Cons: Apple version is way better. Cannot control a beolink converter. Can't find the device after waking up/must restart. Cover art is B&W. Managing music queue from a NAS is a mess. I may buy an iPod to use as a remote since this this is so lame. If I didn't already have a huge investment in b&o, I'd probably return my equipment and never buy from them again. Please get your software act together!
Get your act together B&O...this app is supposed to control kit bought from your dealers for thousands of pounds
Seems like you have to restart it by swiping the app to close from the running apps otherwise it won't find any devices on WiFi
App doesnt work on samsung galaxy tab or iphone. B&O sales personnel can't help. Wasted my money on a wifi network system which can only be be used as a bluetooth speaker. Come on B&O this is crap
The BeoSetup app recognizes my speaker, allowed me to view it's page, but the beomusic app didn't see it
Useless App: slow, buggy, glitchy. Please hire two undergrads from Stanford or Berkeley for 6 months and make us a real app. Not that difficult, come on, you can do it B&O!!!

Useless app can't work at all tried over 8 Android devices. The result is same 'USELESS'.

If Beo can not make the app works, please make it open source, or at least make the API available for 3rd party developers

App cannot find my device on my network. Same app on Apple has no trouble. Please address this immidiately. Also better functions on music playback required. Queue equaliser etc... Samsung note 4
Worked reasonably well until it was updated at the end of August then I cold no longer access my music on my laptop or tablet. The latest update in October did not resolve the problem only made matters worse could now access the laptop files but keeps restarting the music even after switching off. I have been in contact with Beocare were very unhelpful are aware of the problems but have no idea when it will be fixed.
Unable to access any local content from my phone. Sometimes unable to detect the speaker at all, when other apps could connect to the speaker (A6) just fine using dlna. So so overall pretty useless app.
Can't sign in with Deezer connected to Google account and it does not detect any music in my library. So basically useless.
Love the system. Hate the software. More crashes than a test dummy. Shame the software doesn't match the quality of the sound hardware.
you pay 2k euros for the hardware of b&o and you get a constantly crahing software that can't find your music. shame on you b&o!
Poor app! I got the beoplay a6 it is always crashing on my galaxy note 5! Please fix it!
All I get is.... Unfortunately B&O has stopped!
The app is more or less useless. Tried it on four different Android devices and versions, and I still can't get the app to work with my beoplay A9 mkII. In most of the time the app can't find the speaker at all. I have to kill the app and clear the app cache and then it if I'm lucky I'll get contact with the speaker one out of ten times. And when I get contact, the user interface get messed up after a while. Then I have to start all over again.
