A very good app, with possibility the best maps I've encountered so far (clean, crisp, graphically pleasing, with near 3D feel). Lack of connectivity in Android app version with smart watches may, however, be a deal breaker for many users.

I really liked this app but all the recent updates frustrate me. Here's why: - I used to be able to move the dot on the map and place it somewhere else. Doing this I could immediately see how it would route me, that was so good. This seems not possible anymore. - when I choose cycling and safe my route it changes it to hiking and I cannot change this anywhere. I can also not name it myself as it just picks a road name. - it seems to lead me on a lot of highway like roads which is frustrating.

works even offline! information is the best available. unfortunaltely UI for me is pretty random. i dont know how i got what i get and what i need to do to get it again or how to get straight to the bits i am looking for right now.

I had used this on hikes in Austria and I found it to be very reliable. It also works very well and very accurately in Canada where I live. So much better than Google etc for off-trail areas. No annoying ads.

Theoretically I like the app and it's features very much. In the past I used the free version and was very happy with it. Now the zoom level is to low if you don't pay. I paid for the yearly subscription and hoped, some of the bugs would be gone... There are not. Very often the map freezes or the back button just closes the whole app. I hope it doesn't fail us during a trip on top of a mountain...

I have tried many others, but still this is the best for me. I use it for navigation in the forest seamlessly , so if you need a navigator with a detailed map, you should go no further. I have subscribed for pro, because I needed the off-line map option, which is essential in some areas. Again, the map not only good, but the best of all have seen. The Web site is not so worked out, but the program on the phone is worth it.

Quality app, great tips for start points, routes and parking.

Installed recently so not able to give a detailed review, but was surprised with the widespread missing English translations throughout the app. On the positive side, there is support for Bluetooth heart rate sensors, although I need to test this functionality.

The app resets the time & date of an activity when I edit it. It sets it back to a year 2000, meaning it is lost in statistics. You cannot change the time manually, as far as I can tell. Else, the app is nice.

Could not create account, first got a message: invalid password, then I tried it with a different password and got the message that an account under that name already exsisted. 🤨 After my remarks above the maker reacted promptly and set things straight. Well done! 👍 I will hit the snow in a few days and see if I like it for that.

It's really unbelievable that in an application for hiking there is no data of the current altitude! Font on the map is far too small - almost unreadable. And for such an application you have to pay 12 € per year!

The data is amazing. I had a small issue with speed but I understood that it arises when I have the developer setting "Don't keep activities" activated. It is not relevant for most users and I updated my review accordingly.

It is sad that I have to give this rating, because the content of the app (and website) is really good, but: - The app freezes my phone very often. - Sometimes the route description loads, sometimes not. - The favorites are not always stored, even if I'm logged in.

The map itself is a good one, perfect for Hungary too, but the search feature cannot find ANYTHING and there is no voice navigation. Komoot app is ten times better.

A buggy app that shuts down frequently. Insufficiently reliable as a hiking app, thus not worth the price for the pro version. Developers, I recommend you sort it out!
