In this Weather App you get all weather forecasts from the Bergfex website for the Alps region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Slovenia), including Mountain weather forecasts.
Exclusive for Austria: 3729 geo located and detailed weather forecasts for all towns and a large number of mountain weather forecasts.
WIDGET INSTALLATION: to be able to add the widget to the home screen, the app must be installed on the intern memory and NOT on the SD-Card. You can move the app to the internal memory by following these steps: Settings -> Apps -> Bergfex Weather -> Move to internal memory
What you get in the bergfex Weather App:

The exact forecasts are produced in cooperation with the ZAMG (Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik).

Works really nice for Austrian provinces, sea and mountain areas. Access to ZAMG data and weather radar which is kinda the official weather source here. Pro gives more precise 30min updates for the whole day.
Sadly this app is totally useless. It used be really good half a year ago or so but now it's completely unreliable. The forecast for one day changes everytime I go check on the same day; e.g. yesterday it said today will be 8h of sunshine and between 3 and 7C°. Today it is clouded and cold all the time...
Apart from basic weather forecast you get nothing if you don't buy a yearly subscription. UI is not good, some things are hard to read and thinks are wider than the screen etc.
Probably the most accurate weather predictions. This is especially so in mountain regions.
Graphics nice, i like local webcams (althoug the one from Untersberg in Salzburg is a shame). Biggest drawback is a rain forecast not as exact es it should be. International competitor apps are much better on this in hourly forecast. Expensive pro version.
This app had one job: to show me the weather. The process of achieving that is poor. You can't just simply check the weather of each town, you first have to add it to your favourites...
++ the forecasts are good -- The attractive parts of the app are not free. It would be nice to have a free trial to get an idea. - the widgets are really not nice
I got a pop-up asking me to rate despite me having already done so. Because of this annoyance, I removed a star. Old 5/5 review: Most accurate weather app that I have found. Many others don't even match what I see when I look out of the window.
Using a Pixel 3 XL, app was barely useable because the poor UI design which interfered with the drop down settings. Utterly useless on top of a mountain.
Simple, appealing interface and good weather data (ZAMG). Well worth the annual fee.
I have found the app to be quite accurate and I am considering upgrading for the pro version as we live in The Austrian Alps & weather conditions change so quickly

Totally inaccurate morning temperatures everyday.
This is without doubt one of the best weather apps, provided you live in Europe and need weather forecasts just for this region. Actually, one thing that first attracted me to it was that it's not worldwide - as I strongly believe in "specialization" - and I wasn't disappointed. The accuracy and detail of data is way better than Accuweather and other "major" weather apps, the UI is nice and clear and it's easy to use.
