Best Philosophy Quotes - Daily Stoic

Great quotes that align with my personal beliefs. I look forward to it every day. Easy to copy and paste, so you can save your favorites to other apps (journals, etc.).

At times of course I do not agree with the particular quote of the day or they do not really touch me. But more often they succeed in lightening up my heart and/or brain and thus manage to upgrade my day. It is a very simple app to use and I greatly compliment the designers - thank you ! However, the one star lacking stands for the absence of female wisdom; why are there supposed to be only men uttering wise quotes ?? Please do add the many wise womens' quotes of this planet ......

The quotes in this app are wonderful! A wide variety of authors and subjects that cause user to really think. My problem is I cannot share quotes to social media in any way, although some reviewers post that they have shared. There's no way to contact developer as there's no link found anywhere in description on Google Play. Unfortunately I am uninstalling the app and going with one that has great quotes AND a way to contact devs within app description.

It isn't compatible with widget, which means that I have to unlock my phone, access the app (with its ads) just to see the quote. Not very convenient.

It's a pretty simple reservoir of wisdom, but worthwhile. I've a number of such apps, ringing the changes. Philosophy provokes thought, centers us, helps us to think, not merely react. Some of this "philosophy" is just quotable rumination, not confined to the academic discipline of philosophy. But it still entertains, educates and informs, so I can recommend it.

Am unable to get notifications at the set time. It shows that I have set the notification time but I don't get any quotes at the set time. It makes it boring... Do some thing about this please

Spot on. Does it's job perfectly with a section for favorites, different authors and even gives you notifications of daily quotes. Perfect app for its purpose in my opinion

I absolutely love this app. I wish I could bookmark where I left off with individual authors. Other that it's perfect!

I love the variety of quotes. I wasn't able to share them on Facebook though- the quote would not load. Worth looking into. Otherwise, an excellent dose of daily inspiration.

Good thoughts for the day! Easy to use. Everyday a new inspiration flashes on the screen. Never seen ads on it.

Not all the quotes are great and inspiring . I would prefer to thumb down quotes from certain authors I do no agree with and thumbs those I do...to keep a clean and focused wave of enlightenment.

Love that I can set the time of my daily notifications. The capability means I get this feed at the time of day when I know I will be ready to take in the significance of the ideas presented.

Strange that one of the most brilliant philosophers this world has ever seen isn't featured in the app. What's even worse is how they even reworded some of his quotes and credited someone else with his words. Another big draw back is how long most quotes are to read which kinda defeates the purpose of it being a quote in the first place lol. Exceptional to involve personal notes selection for each quote. Also the opportunity to input quotes on a form to be overlooked for community.

At the tender young age of 53 I finally feel like I understand a lot of what I read on these quotes. Can't go a day without reading 1 or 2 at least.

nice variety of understandable quotes from philosophers of note. gets me up to a higher level of thought at least once a day. you can also access a list of quotes by author. great app.

I like how the quotes are organized and the wisdom of great philosophers that you can imbibe. The design is clean and elegant. I like it so far.
