Honestly, this app is great. It's so simple and entertaining if you want a quick read. Not sure why anyone would rate it so low. It's just text in a screen(as requested). Plus, the stories are pretty entertaining. The twists are great and I'm learning some new words as well.
It's super satisfying. The stories are truly impressing for their storylines and wonderful descriptions. They are a bit long but the quality of writing is undeniably perfect. Love it!!!
There are a few very good classics included. but there are several that are pretty worthless, and some that seem to be incomplete.
The best app to to teach English, writing essays, are these good short stories packed in this app. Stop burdening yourself with huge Bible's of novels to improve your English writing skills, use this app to effortlessly improve your English.
Downloaded the app on our tablet and all we get the is a white screen. Nothing is responding in this app. What a waste! Download English Stories app as it is far superior to this one.
Please improve bookmark to enable bookmarking the line of text or at least the page not just the book. Nice app for a quick read. Some good stories. Please improve

This app gives you easy acces to a good collection of short stories. But recent updates hinder the reading experience. They added a dark mode. That would be great if they didn't also add bright, distracting and non closable ads on the bottom of the screen and a bright green header up top. Again it takes away from the reading experience which should be a priority on apps like these.
