Best Sudoku free

I rated this game as a 3 star and gave the explanation below. Because of their prompt response, I adjusted it up to 5. Thanks! Prior to the latest update, I would have rated this a 5. The chosen colors of the last update make it so difficult to look at and decipher that it has me looking for a different Sudoku game. Please either return the game to prior coloring or add the option of color selection to the game.

The app needs: (1) An 'undo' option, that will allow the user to roll-back entries, in sequence, up to the starting-point of each game (e.g. if I made a mistake and I need to undo my last four entries). (2) A 'restart' option, that will reset the current game. (3) A way to save the best times, for each difficulty level. Additionally, I have noticed that, after completing a game, the timer continues running if the app is closed and reopened... even though the completed entries are still there.

Even the super-easy is challenging, like whoever makes these puzzles is showing off! Kudos to smart people, but if I want to think hard I would choose a difficult level. Most of the time I just want a quick and easy puzzle to relax me while taking a break from more important matters. I"m looking into a different app. I gave 5 stars because I really do appreciate lack of ads and no permissions wanted.

Best Sudoku app I've used. No ads, highlight options for those that want it. Only negative is that every difficulty besides nightmare is solvable with the simplest methods. Nightmare mode is really fun, varies from fairly difficult to pulling my hair out. All and all, this app offers the closest I've found to traditional pen and paper while also giving the fancy features for those that want them. Thanks for making this!

Good app, thanks very much for sharing it the way you do. Needs the ability to restart a game when you get stuck instead of having to clear all squares manually to restart. IMHO it also needs to highlight ALL matching numbers when you choose a digit, and another VERY useful Sudoku solving tool is the ability to highlight all squared with only 2 possibilities in them.

Simple, easy to understand, no ads. Game opens the board without asking for level the 1st time I played. You can just click on "new game" and it allows you to choose appropriate level. User can switch to other apps and the game is not lost; you can continue playing!

So close. I enjoy the simple graphics and levels of difficulty. What's missing is a 'reset board' option as well as being able to undo moves. Otherwise a good game with no ads 👍

The interface is easy to use and learn. Appreciate no ads. The game is enjoyable to play An undo button would be a great feature, especially when I start the more difficult levels.

Pretty good overall, controls are a bit funky to get used to but not bad, levels seem to get harder in large steps rather than incrementally, response is sometimes lagging (but this is an old tablet), one of the better FREE Sudoku out there

App offers exactly what is advertised in store when you are going to install it. It does not have any advertisements and (what is more important) it works really well. Thanks!

Good easy game to use, levels of the game are good as is the game plan. Very enjoyable. Would be nice to have some sort of history per level that included your best times.

I find the highlighted rows and columns distracting. I wish this had a back button. I appreciate that on the app I'm replacing, only because it has started draining my battery.

One of the best Sudokus. No ads, no gimmicks, kudos to you!! One thing I would wish for would be a function to return and start the game all over again if mistake was made.

Design works well on tiny phone screen but hurts my eyes on a tablet. Also 'highlited numbers' is hard to see. However app works just fine and most importantly there is no annoying ads.

Worst version of Sudoku I've ever played. You can't highlight any specific number to see where it's placed on the board. Only the row you tap highlights. And if you make a mistake there's no way to figure out where the mistake is. You have to delete the whole board and start again. Simply awful.

like that I can use little numbers to keep notes in the squares. I am liking the levels and options and it automatically keeps your spot when you close it.

i will give you 5 stars but please make improvement. Please give undo / redo feature in apps. when we play we can undo / redo our misstyped. I'm a colorblind man so i'm feeling hard to differ between highlight numbers and non highlighted. Would you change the color of highlighted numbers to be more colorful?

Awesome, I use it to check my mental sharpness.

No intrusive data draining ads. Fantastic. But some of the puzzles have multiple correct solutions that the app doesnt recognise as correct.

nice challenging puzzle. Great game! Would like to see a function or o ption where the puzzle could indicate where mistakes were made.

It's got difficulty levels, a pencil tool, and no ads or microtransactions. Absolutely perfect.

Minimalist setting that works perfectly. My only suggestion would be to have the option of erasing all the numbers at once when you have to start over.

Simple to use, easy to see. No confusing colors or higlighting. I like the hint option.

This is great way to relax and get sleepy before bed. I'd give it 5 stars if there was an "undo" feature or a way to "restart" the same puzzle when you realize a mistake.

App is outdated as on date. Scheme of coloring rows and columns is not clear. Incorrect inputs are not instantly prompted which creates a mess in the end.
