BeTrains - SNCB Belgium
A perfect match between a simple application of route planner and timetables, and beetween a communicative and social network oriented platform!
So many features! Give it a try:
* Route planner: The easiest way to travel by train in Belgium.
* Real time information!
* Social networks: Twitter is your friend, and gives you all the real-time user information (using #SNCB, #NMBS, #BeTrains hastags)
* Included chat: allow you to communicate with all the Android people in your train. A very cool tool if you are alone on your seat and want to meet people.
* Traffic issues: get all the issues in the train network.
* Get the closest station! Once you got it, launch Google Maps, or Navigation (need Android 1,6 or higher)

It's a good App. I use BeTrains a lot for simplicity, -SNCB national- is also good for buying tickets and -Belgium Trains- has a nice interface
Dont works, can't even download, and given crazy routes where it takes 7 hours to arrive in cases of 30 minutes , shame on you
Great app, thank god we're no longer having to rely on the nmbs/sncb app/website
The app is alright overall, useful thing to have. But this morning it gave me a wrong train to the Brussels airport from Leuven. Luckily, the ticket inspector passed and noticed it, but I was delayed 20' anyway. An app like this one becomes quite useless if it's information is not reliable. Pd: the error may be caused by the train passing by Zaventem (but not it's airport)

Better app to quiclky find your train then anything I have found so far. Accurate and trystworthy.

I travel to Brussels each day to work, and this app never failed to update any latecomings by the minute. A bit unpolished, thus four stars. Time jumps back to my current time, a bit bothersome to always go to the settings to switch departure/arrival, can't scroll to see earlier/later trains... but generally the best one out there.
Easy to use. Good for planning. Some issues need improvement. Info is not always 100% accurate but mentioning that certain trains are thalys I think would be helpful
I'm rerating this app 5 stars, not only because the developer was friendly and addressed the bugs I mentioned, but also because the only things that remain are personal taste issues, and I do not feel this should hurt the rating. Thanks! ;)
Good app. But when compairing with the screens at the station, there is then.following difference: screen@station said 'vertrek te bepalen', and this was not mentioned in the app.

Good app, but a later - earlier option when viewing results would really improve this app a lot!
I was on holiday in Belgium and this helped me plan my transport easily.

This app was really good. But now buttons for earlier and later trains are missing? I used those ALL the time!
Great app. Props to the developer. However the latest version does have a nasty bug. When I look for trains from Brussels north to leuven, the schedule it shows me is completely wrong.
train delays are the most important thing when it comes to sncb, why did you take it away? can you please enable it again?
Quite a good app to check up on departure times. Real-time display of delays is fast and accurate. One minor issue, though, is the fact that not all trains are listed. For example, the Brux-Antwerp line has about 10 trains per hour (at rush hour), while only 8 feature in the BeTrains list. Other than that, the app works fast and flawless.
I've been using this app for about 6 months and it's really good with accurate and up to the minute schedules. My only issue is that there's a widget as well, but when I try to add a route it suggests that I open the app and click on "add to widget", but I don't see that link anywhere. Apart from that it's really useful.
Worst train app in Europe. Poorly thought out UI, poorly thought out functionality. Horrible.
This app has always been one of my favorites, but recently it has become inaccurate, showing trains at wrong hours or trains that don't exist.. Please fix this
Please add a facility to change language FR/NL/EN within the app after installing. It defaults to my phone language (EN) but I want to use it in FR because some info is only available in FR/NL.
