Very disappointed. The app tells you that it provides custom workout plans as well as meal plans with the subscription. This os flat out false. There is no exercise calander, but rather a list of "plans". These can all be found online for free. The meal plan has no customization for preferances and the interface is awkward to navigate. Purchased the year subscription for $19.99 and canceled immediately once I saw the joke that it added. I am very dissappointed and want my money back.
Not bad but not amazing. As a Personal Trainer myself i am always intrigued to see the content on these types of apps. Quite frankly, the workouts are extremely basic, no talk of corrective technique or clear instruction on how to execute the movements safely. Just a small description of what to do. Quite often, being the wrong instruction, for example, on a reverse lunge, it states 'Takes a large step FORWARD', clearly showing how rushed this app is. The diet is repetitive and bland also.
I like the clear visual guides for the exercises. The app is simple if you need simple and are just starting out. However things that need to be improved. 1. I would like to log my own food, showing recipes are great but I can't eat some of the suggested food and would like to log my own. 2. Have the program I am working on show up first. It's just annoying I have to go looking for it. 3. Get the reminder feature working! It doesn't give me any notifications. 4. Lower your price.
I loved this app in the beginning, it really helped me get in shape with its structured work outs that are plug and play. It's one of the reasons I lost 30 pounds. I wish they would update or change the routines though... after a year my body has become used to it and growth is slowing. Great app though for those just needing a starting place and guidance!
Watch out for the "free trail". It's not you typical pay after 7 days if you don't cancel. I've definitely learned a lesson this day. I went through selecting options for free trial period but obviously didn't understand their intent. I was immediately charged $29.99 for a full years subscription. I honestly felt mislead. After looking for a good place for developer contact and then reading reviews by others I REALLY felt purposefully lead down this path. Refund will be requested.
Good app. It does a good job at helping to get back in shape. When I downloaded it, my maximum was 2 pullups in a row, and now I can do 12. The workouts are always on point, and with each one, I literally feel how I slowly but surely gain muscle. Not only that, but I also noticed that my belly got smaller. I believe that an individualized diet plan played a bigger role in that. Although at the very beginning that was not my goal, now I see that it really added to my overall fitness. Great app!
The advertisement for the app says it comes with meal plans and all the above with a premium account. However, it does not include really anything. The workouts as well aren't even really for my targeted areas, plus the home workouts still require exercise equipment. Also the app is hard to use and there is no help for this area. It displays an ab workout on the front page, but I have no idea whether or not that's part of my program.
The app gives you great workouts, with the option to skip the excercises, and the rest periods, the app gives you just as much training as YOU want. It does, however, being a free app, shoves a membership in front of your face after every workout. I don't judge them, as they need to make money somehow, but I do feel they could lay off the membership pop-ups. Overall, it's a great workout app that I use everyday.
It has workouts and meals for a day but this app seems like they rushed it and never improved the app. Things it desperately needs. 1. For the meals, a weekly shopping list for everything needed to prepare the meals. With the ability to fine tweak the meals for things like allergies or unavailability. 2. The at home workout. I listed newbie and at home. It has gym workouts that I have no way of doing. The app needs to ask what equipment the user has and suggest modifications.
This app needs to get realistic with it's choices in foods and take note of one's income and lifestyle instead of assuming what's available to everyone. "Food Preference" what a joke. It needs to give its users free reign over whatever they eat but manage the intake and quality. I have full access to the goods available but what of those who don't, and what of my grocery list (which will inevitably lead to additional payment of $250+ than the usual). For those on a budget look the other way plz
I chose home workouts and got exercices requiring gym equipments. And the excercices are too repetitive, which makes the working out boring. But I loved the fact that the app has real models showing how to do the excercises. That's a plus. But the 2 flaws mentioned above are a no no for me. If they're addressed in the future I might download it again. Until then, nop.
This app has the potential to be great. Right now as it stands though it needs some work. I got it because I wanted a keto diet plan with intermittent fasting as that's what I was lead to believe this was. It's not that. There's actually NO schedule, keto plans, and definitely not intermittent fasting. It IS however a great and simple diet plan. I've gotten in the habit of drinking smoothies and eating whole foods which has actually been GREAT. Just misleading.
The workouts available are great, but the meal plan is very limited. Low variety on food. Not enough meat options. And overall high budget on groceries too. Customer service is also terrible. I chose the 6 month plan for $6.99 per month with the 7 days free trial, and it took out $59.99 out of my account. I want my refund please!
Paid User. Extremely Disappointing. Half baked app. Workouts are not saved. It shows saved, but next day, shows the last workout to start over again. Very poor and sloppy explanations of forms for excercises. Some excercises, the video shows only one side of the body and doesnt even mentions that you need to do both sides e.g side lunges.
I just purchased this app with a 7 day trial, after opening the app and going through it, I noticed that the app didn't provide a grocery list for food prepping. Instead it just tells you what to eat that day which is very inconvenient, unless I worked in a grocery store. So I go back and cancel my subscription due to the lack of providing basic info and now that free 7 day access is no longer valid and now I have this app for 30 days. Thanks alot!! $10 wasted!!!
Can't verify email (it sends me an email, but the link just takes me back into the app). No way into the app without signing up for a "plan" with card details first. I've had to enter target area, height, weight, target weight, dietary requirements five times now and then get to the same point. Circular waste of time.
Start app, "sign up", choose problem areas. Select height, weight, target weight and dietry requirement. all very good but then there's a big pay wall of which there is no prior indication. I'm not going to sign up to a paid service rated less than 4.5 stars without thorough trialling of a free version, much less one that doesn't actually tell you about it being a premium app until you're already in there and starting it up. my suggestion would be to make the app free with options to upgrade
THERE IS NO FREE TRIAL!! The app offered a "7 day free trial" along with the monthly subscription option. I took it and got charged immediately, THERE IS NO FREE TRIAL! I proceeded by sending an email asking for a refund, which they then replied after a week saying it is non refundable. I have proof that the purchase states clearly that there is a 7 day trial, so they are scamming people here. It should be removed from play store at once...
The moment you go into the app it asks you height, weight, goal, etc. Them asks you to pay monthly for a subscription. Now that isnt the problem. The problem is it led on for several minutes, as well as ADS on social media sites leading me to believe everything was free, purely false advertising.
Got lured into a '7 day free trial' but when you go to put it your credit card details in, quite explicitly states a 3 day free trial before being billed $62 a month. Whyte even bother? You can find plenty of information on the net to get similar results all without having to pay an exorbitant price for doing so. This is a very disappointing experience. Now uninstalled.
You save 75% if you sign up before even getting to look at it? So the price is just about double if I want to see what it offers? Honestly I'd rather just go elsewhere. If it had a free week trial, with no subscription required, I would LOVE to see what is in here. Then I'd most likely sign up for the $3/month. But to be charged $10/month with no clue what's included? No thanks... let me know if you ever fix this and I'll give it a shot.
I downloaded this app after it was advertised on Facebook. After downloading and beginning the set-up it wanted me to sign up for a year membership with free trial. I agreed for the year with free trial amd was charge immediately. Although it took a bit i was issued a refund for the subscription even with the pandemic with Covid-19 all going on. I rated 3 because what was advertised for without plans wasn't to my liking not saying they were bad but I'm more advanced in my working out.
So I've just downloaded it and LOVE IT, the work out plans and the meal plans. I love how there is an actual video of someone showing you what to do. The only thing i would say is that when it comes to choosing the areas you want to work on it only gives 4 options, weak chest or skinny legs and arms. But what about if you wanted to lose weight on your legs and build muscle. However this app is STILL AMAZING!!
Despite the poor reviews I decided to give this app a go. I've been working out on and off for around 2 years, app assisted and my own workout plans, this has actually kept me motivated and implemented workouts I wouldn't have usually done. I've given this a 4 star rating because I'd like few simple changes to the app 1. an actual workout time, not just one that is pre determined 2. hitting the back button on my phone takes me right back to the start of the workout..please fix! price a bit high
Great app, I would give it five stars. However I cannot reset progress on any of the workouts. If I want to see past the current workout, I need to fast forward through in order to see three next. Or if I have taken a break for a while at the gym I would like to be able to reset my progress to start from the beginning. If you were able to implement that in the app I would easily give this a five-star.
The concept is good, but you have to have a full home gym to follow the at home plan which makes it a lot of the plans useless for beginners. Simply adding a don't have that piece of equipment alternative to the exercises would make it an amazing app. Which is a shame because it has potential.
This app is really good at frequently guilt tripping you which makes it perfect for unmotivated beginners like myself. Its stupid simple and easy to follow. Videos show you exactly how to do the exercises and the app makes it really easy to get into a healthy routine by setting reminders for your next workout. For me..setting a routine i would stick to was 90% of the battle. This app helped immensely!
The App doesn't make it obvious that you have to pay to use any feature. But fine, they gave a 7-day free trial, right? Yup. Except the app is so buggy that it forces you to sign up for the trial twice and the second time it actually charges your credit card! Besides that fraud, the app is extremely buggy. going from one tab to the next is delayed and most times doesn't result in and transition at all. You're just stuck looking at the Workout tab when in fact you've clicked on the Food tab.
