I bought one and for the life of me couldn't get it to connect via the app, thought it must be faulty so returned it, but the replacement also didn't work; so returned that too. The problem with the app seems to be a recurring theme. I contacted the wholesaler's directly and they were no help. In the end just got a decent branded heated blanket and two smart plugs. Simples.
Had pretty big issues with getting it to accept both my email and password. It refused everything even tho it was randomly generated and all 8 chars or longer. After managing to get an account created (took 15 minutes ish) i had to struggle with getting it to connect to wifi. Took another 10 minutes or so, but once it was done it seems to be working fine. Lost connection to it once but i moved to the other side of the house so probably my fault :) Overall i like the design and layout. It seems very straightforward and easy to use. I must admit i absolutely LOVE the feature that shows how much money you've spent on having it on after you input your kw/h prices. Also the nice timetable letting you set it up in advanced for sleep times. After setting it all up i asked my better half to climb into bed and test it for me and she refused to leave the bed so i guess it was worth the money! :P I had to remove one star over the annoying user/pass creation, and that i can't seem to change currency. Dev's; Please include an option to let me change the currency from EUR to NOK for instance.
Got the blanket 2 weeks ago. App connection has been down for one week. What a disappointment for a premium device. Apparently the App Server is down. Why do I need to go through a server abroad to control the Blanket in my bed. Seems like this is a recurring theme. I'm unfortunately returning the blanket, because without the app features, it's an overpriced ordinary heated underblanket with No features.
Its very simple. Keep the blanket, trash the app. It does not work at all. After running like madness between blanket and modem for 15 min. the app finally recognizes the blanket, but keeps saying "the blanket is off" so nothing can be done to control it. The thing is connected to the power, the physical controller is at "remote position", and the blanket is on on, as in heating up.
App is appallingly made. Clunky and all but impossible to login in the first place. Then when the app updates and throws you out (once you've finally spent the best part of a day setting up & getting it to register on your WiFi) you'd better remember your password as there's no way to reset it! Just as well time and heat control functions are available on the blankets controller or this would be a very overpriced version of a bog standard silent night! Nope, utter c**p!
Just installed and seems to work okay without much fuss. Nice enough interface. Yet to see in my partner can simultaneously add control of both sides of the blanket to their phone. Would be really nice to have all blankets in one place on the app, rather than having to switch blankets to turn the other side of a double bed on. Oh, and if we have Alexa, can we also have Google Assistant support?
Same password problems as others. After hours of tinkering, if your password is exactly 8 characters, includes a capital letter, number(s) and an exclamation mark it may work but that does not alter how useless the app and instructions are. It does work but only by luck and no thanks to the app instructions. Disappointing for a premium product.
Re-register as a different user with other email. That solved my problem! Tips: 1. Use 8 character password and only one special character: an exclamation mark 2. If the application says that "your device is not connected", it means that the device (e.g. electric blanket) has lost its settings and is not connected to your wifi. See next step 3. Re-register (sign-up) to the app as another user with different email. This will force the app to connect via bluetooth to the device and allow you to re-enter the wlan (wifi) settings. Please note that you should simultaneously press the timer and KWh buttons for more than 5 sec. to enable BT on your device.
Vastly improved on the old App as in.....it actually works now. Well done for fixing the app, now leave it alone and stop messing with it. Both apple and android phones seem to work fine with it and its lightning quick now. It was an absolute nightmare before. Well done. Now don't screw it up this time!
The App is a total disaster. It simply does not work. The timers are ignored and it tries to set remote values and not revert to timer settings. Its not a bad blanket but without the smart timers it is horribly overpriced.
Won't accept any password even if it is more than eight characters long and contains many letters and numbers. Makes the blanket a total waste of time and money if it can be used only as a normal heated blanket.
The app is too slow to connect and work and doesn't work half the time. It's a brilliant blanket but very expensive because I don't use the app anymore.
Put an exclamation mark in your password. That's 1 problem sorted but there's so many more. My blanket is turning on at all the wrong times. The whole app is a mess to be honest. Why can't beurer hire someone to sort this app out?
Totally useless app, when it updates it logs you out and then will not log back in or allow you to change your password, for a £150 heated blanket you should do better than this, I could've saved my money and purchased a fully manual blanket
Since update connection with controller is very hit and miss, used to work great, now useless.
Crashes CONSTANTLY. If you CAN manage to turn on your blanket, it takes ages to set it!
Awful app is so slow doesn't connect to blanket.
Won't allow you to sign up, renders the UB 200 electric blanket useless.

Within the first days the underblanket hat some problems and did not use the settings made in the application. It seems like Beurer has fixed this issue and since that the underblanket and the app is working properly. Hopefully it will stay like that.
Cant even register the app does not like my password even if it has more then 8 chars with capital letters and not and numbers. Retarded app. I guess i can cancel my order on Amazon.
How did they make this app worse? Now it takes about 5x setting it to actually work. And it often loses the connection and it resets at each update, and it takes 15 inexplicable seconds to show you the branding at start. Just a horrible app. The shame is that if this worked at all OK, this product would be utterly amazing. The ability to set the blanket from your phone before going to bed is a godsend, then blanket itself is good and they'd dominate the market if anyone would recommend it!
