Was DEFINITELY expecting more. Even with a totally new and updated phone the "Pairing Request" EVERY BLOODY TIME is a deal breaker. Will be returning this BF950 to the store and going back to my Fitbit smart scale. Update: it's still really bad. Would not recommend. Great scale though. The app designers should feel bad for messing up a great product. I have not been able to sync for 6 days now... 👎👎👎👎 We live in 2022. Tech should not be this frustrating. 🤯
This was back in 2019, recently revised. Connectivity is all over the place. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. Seem to then have to close & re- open & then tap the scales & it will upload one new measurement. Wasn't this unreliable in the original version. The associated Beurer Health Manager Website is now also partially broken. When you export the data to Excel the first 12 days of the month are formatted as mm/dd/yyyy, while the rest or the months records are formatted in dd/mm/yyyy which is correct for Australia. Seems like someone responded to the old format of mm/dd/yyyy & did a dodgy update to flick some numbers to attempt to change the format. Makes the Excel data pretty useless unless it's manually edited. That was back in 2019. 3 year on & want to use the associated scales again & on my current S20 Samsung & it simply won't find the BF700 scales. Very poor that an app like this is ignored & the device that required it is now essentially just a dumb scale. Very poor form Beurer.
I have been using the app for a while and it was okay. But since recently there's several very frustrating bugs: 1. When I change units to kg, settings don't stay. 2. Numbers are shown in kg, but label is lbs. 3. When I go back in history - than everything is in lbs again! Instead of kg as it is in the settings. And than feedback in the app! I tried to send a feedback twice! When I finish - app asks to add logs - I click on logs - nothing happens and I LOOSE EVERYTHING WHAT I TYPED!
This is a horrible app. I have the BF105 and the login procedure and the whole User Experience in the app is horrible and frustrating. also, through the curved surface of the scale, the scale becomes super-unreliable. It can differ up to 0.8kg (if not more) for 2 immediately subsequent measurements. Had the scale now for 1.5 years, I regret it. Just buy a normal scale for 30 bucks, instead this shi*
The concept is great but the app rarely ever connects with my scale and when it does it takes ages for it to update with the new amount of data which has to be as recent as possible. It would be quicker for me to write the results down by hand which at that point would render the app useless.
I have never been this frustrated with a product of any sort In my entire life it refuses to connect when I want it to it literally has to be hard reseted by removing the device pairing and the batteries and even then that is for a one time use of the product in addition to it demanding access to call logs and contacts to work at all, feels like I been scammed into buying a bogus product. I wish I could rate this at negative 6 stars, if you ignore what I mentioned the app still is confusingly!
Well, I am not sure, but sync'ing BC54 worked exactly once, and now the app transfers gigabytes of data on the WLAN... And is quite unresponsive. I will uninstall it and revert back to just writing down the measurements.
It's really a disaster. I wish I was reading the reviews before bought it. I trusted too much in this brand. Shame on them that are underestimating the customers and refuse to improve the app. The app is a catastrophe therefore the Scale also since doesn't receive the notifications and request constant pairing. This product it's a big lie if you considered the advertisement. Buy a regular smart watch , you'll be more satisfied. Wake up Beurer and start to work for your clients !
It's not functional. Everytime you disconnect from the device asks you to connect several times to bluetooth. I use beurer BF 850 and it saved my measurements and if I go and measure myself again it not saves your numbers but you have to enter them yourself. Not functioning with android. Not happy with buying beurer bf 850 and using that app. Dont do that mistake !
One of the worst apps I have had the displeasure of using. It literally never works. Won't connect, cannot find the user, doesn't save the new data. Completely useless making my scale a super expensive digital bodyweight scale, and nothing more.
It's a nice app. Gave only 4 stars because I don't feel that all the options work on the app. And it doesn't seem to have any new functions or design available. But overall not a bad app :)
Very unstable app. It synchronized with the scale after many tries, on which I got stuck on endless "please wait" screens. Gone are the days when we could trust German technology with closed eyes...
For the first few months the connection between my phone any my scale was dodgy. The app says it hasn't connected to the scale in over a month. The scale seems to work fine, but just doesn't connect anymore at all. This is not the product I wanted when I bought it. I don't know if the problem is software in my phone (pixel 5) or in the hardware in the scale, but the overall experience is terrible. No stars. I don't recommend this product.
One of the worst apps from a reputable company I've ever had. I've been using it for years and continuously get user assignment errors and can barely connect to the scale. This goes for my previous phone and current one (1+3 and 1+Nord). The UX is terrible, so when you try to look for content in the app, it's a pure guessing game until you find what you're looking for in the oddest place in the content hierarchy. It's a huge disappointment the app hasn't had updates in years to fix this.
The app fails to remember me, causing login and I'd issues everyday. No support buttons. Often device can't be found to connect. Been persisting for more then 12 months its just not very good.
No way to use the app without registering since they changed the app. I don't want to register and give more personal data to yet another organisation I don't know, so my expensive scales are made almost useless. Dreadful service, shame on you Beurer
App doesn't regularly synch and doesn't allow for you to manually add data either. I have to wait about a week to view updated stats. Even if I could manually add data it doesn't go below 30% fat so my body fat percentage which last read as 24% could not be added anyhow. I would use another app if it were an option.
Hardly ever connects with my BF720 scale. It was already a struggle to make it work during setup and now it doesn't work at all. Big disappointment.
I use this app with the BF720 scale. Love the automatic transfer of data from the scale to the app via Bluetooth and archiving of the data. Multiple profiles can be added for all family members. There are some bugs though. I frequently get an error message that the data on the app is different from that on the scale and it asks me whether to update it. There's no reason why this should happen.
This update is awful, it's very convoluted and not intuitive as claimed. Worst of all I've lost all my saved measurements that hadn't synced, so I'm very annoyed. Why wouldn't you ensure this doesn't happen with a new update? Pretty ridiculous. It's so dumb as well because to look at your data (the view I find most useful) you have to tap the home screen once, and then swipe twice. After the first swipe you get the trend, but this is already shown on the home screen so why would that come before the data screen? A really finicky and poorly thought through app.
I quite like this app. it was very simple to use and set up and gives me the data I'm looking for without too much other information. The presentation isn't great on my Samsung phone as I can't see all the data from the summary screens, this looks like a format issue. The export function works well and it's useful to see progress. What I would like to see is integration with other commonly used health apps.
The app itself is fine but the connection between scales and app is barely working. I cannot figure out a way to trigger synchronization between the two, it comes totally random at one point in time, sometimes only the day after taking the measurement. Obviously not upon opening the app, as claimed by the manufacturer.
