BG Player

What's wrong with Bg Player at the moment?? The app has been great when i first started using it. Since a few weeks when i add my Favorite Songs from Youtube the app simply doesnt cached in the songs anymore. Something is not right with the app. I even reinstalled the app without sucess. I have lost all my Favorite songs on bg Player. This is very annoying. Can somebody tell whats wrong with this app. If they don't fix the problem, i have check out for an alternative app!

I used the app for four years now, it was the best music player app on the play store. But somehow you managed to be more disappointing than 2020 was. With removing the file caching feature you simply destroyed the app, making it a pointless music list maker stuff. I guess you had to do it because of some legal reasons, but it's still not an update for the app.

only real problem is that sometimes if im listening to music while on my phone, the music will pause itself and i cant get it to play again, so i have to close the app and turn on the music again. Also, now you can't pause or play your music from outside the app. you used to be able to pause/play from the notification bar, but for some reason, an update got rid of that feature. only reason I'm giving it 3 reasons is that when it works, it's good and not too many ads. I still reccomend it.

I used to be able to use MUSIC CONTROL on my phone, forwarding,pausing or rewinding a song while phone was in lock screen mode. I'm now unable to do that. This problem started 2/3 weeks ago. The only way to do the things l mentioned above is to unlock the screen. Otherwise this is a great app and l love using it. Please please rectify this problem. Many thanks in advance. P.S adding a casting option would be great.

I've used this app for a while now, and I recommend it to everyone I know! Sure some of the ads are excessive, but what can you expect, they need funding, and there's a few bumps every now and then but as long as you learn to navigate the app it's really helpful, I use it every day!! (Ok, what was the point of fixing the last bug, now the playlists won't load, plz fix)

I do really love this app I've used it many times before. Recently I had to reinstall it because if a storage issue. But, once I reinstalled it, it keeps crashing and saying unfortunately bg player has stopped working. Please fix this I know it's been happening to others too. I really hope you fix this problem I really love using this app. Thanks 😊

Love the app but I cant use the notification bar anymore. Where you can pause and skip songs. Its really annoying to have to turn on your phone and have to open the app to pause or skip. When you have the app open the notifications bar thing does work for some reason. But when you close the app/turn off the phone it doesnt anymore

Aggressive ads when the app starts. It blocks and shuts down after each 30 mins of listening. The music is not always cached. It does not give the option to download just the music without video. In the folder where it saves the videos it renames them with some numbers so is very difficult to find something there. The quality of the cached stuff is generally poor. Generally, the app is slow and annoying.... The idea of it is great, but that's all

I got a new phone and downloaded this app again. You completely wrecked it. And it's STILL going downhill. Look at your reviews a little more often and fix the things we want fixed. Don't Jack this app up more. I loved it but now I can't access the control panel from my notifications, it won't stop running when I close it so I have to force it to stop, and most of the songs take 10 minutes to download.

It's a pretty good app over all. It used to be better, but now it has some caching issues, which another review mentioned can be fixed by turning off and back on again the caching. And the other thing is that whenever I swipe this app away it still shows up in my notifications spot and when I click the x it only goes away for a second and then it comes back

You can sit there watching one song load for 10 minutes without any results. I love listening to music while I clean and this app seemed perfect for that... But nothing loads. It's not a connection issue, I can use the exact same connection to watch the exact same music on YouTube, it's just the app.

I use this app almost every day and it works perfectly. Although there are some points that could be improved. First, I would love to have the option to pay for ad free. Second Problem and also the last problem is that i cant login with YouTube. I dont know if this is a bug or not possible because of some legal matters. All in all its a great app

The apps not bad but its not good either you know ? You can download as much music as you want no problem and its offline aswell which is very helpful. The thing i hate is how much storage it takes up. Like the music videos are in my camera roll and when i delete it the music itself deletes from the app aswell so i have to leave them there currently 348 music in my playlist 💀. But aside from that the apps no bad itself, jus wished that it didnt have to be in my camera roll 😬

Like a lot of people here, i used this app for years. The app started having serious problems where it took ages to download songs & videos that i wanted downloaded or would straight up just not download them. Now? With the new update you can't download videos anymore. You guys used to do such amazing work with app before these updates, now it's useless, i don't know if anyone else still uses the app anymore but im at a loss for words. Go back. Bring back the old functions.

Please bring back the old version, the one that was around two updates ago, because that one was way better than this version. This version crashes, stops playing my music and just freezes my whole phone, makes my phone heat up real fast, uses a lot of battery, plays ads without warning at horrible times (not to mention that sometimes the ad doesn't play but it makes my phone freeze on a black screen) and that's only half of the problems!!!

Help! I hope someone also passed by this, I wanted to transfer all of my saved files to my new SD card, ticked the "SD option" at the app and simply moved all of my music (around 800 songs!) to the newly created direction in the SD card. But... unfortunately the player simply doesn't registered the files anymore. I would mostly appreciate if someone tells me some way to make them appear in the app, thank you! P.S. Newly cached files save in the same directory where I moved the "old" ones

Great app, I've used it for 2 years and there are ALMOST no complaints. One of them is that suddendly the cache workes way slower. Sometimes when I try to cache a youtube video that goes 10 mins, I have to let it play for like 5 minutes just so that it gets cached. Please tell me what the problem is and how I can fix it. Please add this app to apple store for IOS

The app is amazing. But unfortunately it deletes my songs after a while so I always have to add my 300 songs and that's annoying. I can't even log into youtube. Please try to look into it! I know I'm not the only one with that problem. Thank you

BG player is great but it would be more great if it would let you use it when for exaple i listin to music and play a game i have but i cant if i leace the app the music stops it just so iratating and i hate how you cant lestin to music with no wifi or internet i wush you can make the app beter or else i might have to look for a new app and its hard when you have a veary new phone cuze some apps are not avalable :(

I used this app for years. Now I have a new phone and it updated and it keeps deleting my playlists. Very annoying. Now I have to find another music app and this one was perfect. Also I can't control it from the notifications screen or from my Bluetooth receiver anymore. I have to be in the app in order for that to work

The app is great, have been using it for a really long time but it would be great if we could pay to remove the adds on the app, they cluster it and make it annoying to use the app itself, it is similar to how adds gut in when you're watching YouTube. It's been enough time for this to be an option but overall it's a great app, much better than horrible YouTube premium.

Downloaded this app just earlier today! Overall seems to be very well put together for a free app that not only allows playlist creating with your favorite song but also offers official music videos👀👀!! Every time I searched for music the results where right in front of me.. added 200 songs to my playlist within a few hours!!👏👏 Rating 4-stars due to the fact I see no option to create some sort of user account for me to login across my other devices!

That's one of my favorite and most useful apps, and now they ruining it. Im installing it in every one or two months just hoping to be changed cuz im still not finding alternative, similar app but... Massive disappointment!!!
