Bhagavad Gita, is a part of the 5th Veda (written by Vedavyasa
- ancient Indian saint) and Indian Epic
- Mahabharata. It was narrated for the first time in the battle of Kurukshetra, by Lord Krishna to Arjun.
The Bhagavad Gita, also referred to as Gita, is a 700–verse Dharmic scripture that is part of the ancient Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. This scripture contains a conversation between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide Krishna on a variety of philosophical issues.
Faced with a fratricidal war, a despondent Arjuna turns to his charioteer Krishna for counsel on the battlefield. Krishna, through the course of the Bhagavad Gita, imparts to Arjuna wisdom, the path to devotion, and the doctrine of selfless action. The Bhagavad Gita upholds the essence and the philosophical tradition of the Upanishads. However, unlike the rigorous monism of the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita also integrates dualism and theism.
Numerous commentaries have been written on the Bhagavad Gita with widely differing views on the essentials, beginning with Adi Sankara's commentary on the Bhagavad Gita in the eighth century CE. Commentators see the setting of the Bhagavad Gita in a battlefield as an allegory for the ethical and moral struggles of the human life. The Bhagavad Gita's call for selfless action inspired many leaders of the Indian independence movement including Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who referred to the Bhagavad Gita as his "spiritual dictionary".

What happened with this app? Why it's not showing the adhyaam ,sloka number? Whatsapp share option is disabled , why? Am using this app for more than 5 years. Very disappointed with the new updation. Plz bring back the previous version with adhyayam number ,sloka number and WhatsApp sharing option.
Very excellent app some days before I had a issue regarding this app but when I write this in comment that problem get sort out as some apps developer doesn't say about that what is your issue but this app's developer ask me where you have problem and they now sort out that problem.Very excellent app very happy with the app Thanks

The transcription in Hindi is good. It's so simple, nothing fancy. It contains the sanskrit shlok, it's translation in Hindi, and has a feature where we can bookmark a shlok as favorite. The background color, i.e. yellow and part orange, gives soothing effect. Recommend this to anyone who wants to know the unaltered Gita and reflect upon its meaning to his /her individual needs.
I downloaded this app after going through many apps. This is very good but user might want these basic features 👇 1. If each Shlok has some background photo of Shree Krishna or some spiritual photo like om, flute, shank, temple, cow, peacock etc. It can be also some colorful graphic. 2. Below hindi, there should be English translation also. It would be best app then. 3. Option of Daily Notification of a random Quote for sharing on whatsapp status or some other social media app. Thanks
I'm damn impressed by this app You should download this and read this. This is more than any kind of motivation It will change your mindset as well as thought processing. Ads are not much. They are always popping up on dowmside but if u'll read it with data off/wifi off Then ads will never disturb you❤️

Very easy to move from one shloka/chapter to another. All slokas very well explained. There are some errors in Sanskrit version of few shlokas that should also be corrected to improve it further.
Seems to be a very decent app, and easy to use, with chapters and shlokas arranged serially. Only disturbing feature, with all other apps, are the ads.
Excellent app....if u can also add the meaning of words of Sanskrit below each shloka(like tika by Swami Ramsukhdas ji maharaj),it will be wonderful

liked the app but please add some more features like add engligh translation also. U can add audio file of each shloka also. these features are also available in other similar app. Apart from this, allnos good in this app.i am loving the daily shloka notifications. Thanks
This app opens one shlok everyday in the morning. However, the biggest drawback is that the shlok doesn't appear chronologically everyday. It appears in a random basis.
App interface is nice. But I am upset with it's premium version. It claimed to be showing definitions of words upon clicking it....But upon clicking sanskrit word it shows the word itself again instead of showing it's definition.
Sanskrit and Hindi text needs to be easily distinguishable. Right now, both the texts have similar font size, color and boldness which can be confusing at times.
Its really good app ... A really good interpretetion of shlokas but the only thing it lacks is the audio clips of the sholkas ... If you are able to include this, that would be really great..
Gita is a condensation of all human knowledge in 700 verses. It is intense, powerful, exhilarating, and enabling. This app is good, but to make it better, needs expertise +imagination. It has the potential. Please turn it from a repeated text to a meaningful मंत्र माला
Best app available. Simple, short and upto point. Please add a bookmark feature, it will be more helpful. Otherwise awesome in every aspect. 😊
It was a good reading experience. It would turn out great if this app sends a daily shlok as a notification + reminder because sometimes reading gets skipped.
I am a premium user of the app and like it very much. But I suggest two things : First either keep the explaining comments below the shloks or show them with different colour and second favourite shloks should appear in increasing order of chapter number they belong to and not randomly.
Please dim down the background colour. It was better before. Now it is very dark and unpleaseant. With dark font, only light background works not dark.
Its easy read and we'll organised app. Learning with such background make me feel like I am reading the book of the past time. It overwhelming.
So many ads. While changing the chapters on ad is necessary to come which I hate very much. Even the translations are not that good.

Very nice App, this app don't only provide sholkes but also their Hindi meaning along with progress report.... Just want to say develop thanks and they must have to add some photos of lord Shri Krishna and other photos which teaches lesson. At last thanks developer for providing this kind of beautiful application.
I have been using this app for a while now. Its great ! However, I wanted to give a suggestion, it would be amazing if you add English translation as well with Hindi translation on the same page.
