Bheema Tanpura
I am a signal processing engineer by profession and Hindustani classical singer by passion. I have developed this app after rigorous analysis of the resonance of instrument. Connect your android device to good speakers and enjoy the sound in high fidelity. Ideally place the speakers at least 3 to 4 feet away for the best effect.
I have included several digitized tanpura profiles. Use them and adjust the tempo/pluck-style to get the best combination that suits your taste.
The fully functional version will run for few minutes before terminating.
FYI : My great grand father made wonderful tanpuras from wood, about 80 years ago and in this digital age I have taken to computing !!! I will update the app with the profile of the only available tanpura he made..

I have purchased Bheema Pro paid version and the payment is deducted from my account and the application is not working and still it is showing trial version we are unable to connect with the developer. My money is just gone. Instead of loosing my money in such way it is better to use some of the free version available or have a stand alone electronic tanpura. Very bad and money lost is lost however small it is.
Hi, I have a few questions about the Bheema Tanpura Pro app. 1. Does the app support Google TalkBack and Samsung in-built voice assistant? 2. Alternatively, is there a way for accessing voice support on the app for features and general navigation? The person interested in purchasing the app is visually impaired. Hence, checking. I'm using this on S10. I am not able to run this more than 5mins. I hear a clutter sound and I have to unlock the phone and open the app to bring it to foreground to run it. I get a message also saying the same. Please help.
Dear Mukunda Haveri I have been using this app since 2018. It used to work very well on my old Moto g phone. But last October I installed this app on my new 1+7 phone and every moment the screen black's out the sound starts to clutter. Please advise on how to solve this problem. I am a software engineer by profession and I do stage singing as a hobby here in the Gurdwara in UK . I find this app is brilliant. It sounds like real Tanpura. I am giving 4 stars, I think it should be able to store and recall settings by different rags rather than just last setting.
I bought the paid version it's so beautiful please add a pluck sound controller and each string volume controller cause it can make the sound more realistic also the sound from jivari have to be more deep then will sound like a real thank you for creating such amazing app
Tanpura stops after some time on its own displaying 'wait'. That is very irritating. I had heard good reviews so downloaded it with high hopes. But it disappointed me.
Idk why everyone here praising this app..I have used this app and after every 1 minute the app is getting stopped..uninstalled.. *Though the designing of the app has the potential to be very best..

Bheema tanpura has a good sound and works well. Worth the purchase as a useful tool.

I just want one more feature to be added. When we click on each element's title, the values should reset to the default ones. Example: Click on the title "Tempo", the value resets to 80. Otherwise, it is a great app. The UI, design, controls, range of different settings... everything, is great.
