BHIM Aadhaar Onboarding J&K Bank

BHIM Aadhaar Onboarding– J&K Bank is a mobile application for onboarding of merchant on self-service basis. This app is a pre-requisite for receiving the payment digitally using customers Aadhaar number.
To get Onboard as Merchant:
The merchants (Only Individuals or Sole Proprietor) need to have the following to start using BHIM Aadhaar Pay- J&K Bank:

UIDAI Certified Biometric Reader (Shall be provided by the Bank)
Android smartphone with Android version 4.2 or higher with internet connectivity

How to Use the Application,
a. Merchant wiling to avail the service, have to first download the BHIM Aadhaar onboarding application from play store and install on his/her smartphone, the merchant would require to sign up with his/her personal and business details. After completion of all steps, merchant will be registered with a unique merchant ID which will be sent on merchant’s mobile no.
b. After Merchant onboarding, merchant shall visit the concerned Business unit to get his/her merchant ID authorized and collect the device for use. The Branch will guide the merchant to download BHIM Aadhaar Pay-J&K bank application for carrying out the transactions.
New User- How to On-board

As a first time user of Aadhaar pay on-boarding, merchants will have to complete the on-boarding process .Following are the steps to be followed by the users for On Boarding and Registration.
Step 1: Click on the Aadhaar Pay on-boarding application icon on your Smartphone to launch the application.
Step 2: Enter your mobile number.
Step 3: Click on Proceed button.
Step 5: Enter the OTP number which you have received as SMS on the mobile number. In case of you don't receive an OTP; you can regenerate it by clicking on regenerate OTP. Enter the name of the device under the text-box ‘Enter the nick name of device’.
Step 6: Click on the Proceed button, OTP will be validated .Once OTP verification is successful, it will navigate to Merchant registration screen.
Step 7: Enter your valid Aadhaar number or scan the Aadhaar QR code for populating Aadhaar Number. To scan from QR code, focus the rear Smartphone or tablet Camera over the QR code available on the Aadhaar Card till Aadhaar Number is pre-populated.
Step 8: Click on Proceed button, to navigate to fingerprint capture screen.
Step 9: Place your finger on the attached USB scanner .Once fingerprint authentication is successful, account no. linked with Aadhaar number is to be mentioned.
Step 10: Please select the preferred bank account which is linked with Aadhaar.
Step 11: Click on the Proceed button to navigate to additional details screen.
Step 12: Enter your shop name and shop address.
Step 13: Click on the Proceed button to submit your request.
Step 14: Application displays a confirmation message “Your registration request has been submitted successfully” along with a merchant ID. The user has to remember the merchant ID for future reference. Confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number only after the Merchant ID is authorized by the bank. The user can now download BHIM Aadhaar Pay-J&K Bank app for receiving payment from customers.
