This latest update expects us to use data from the same number our bank account is linked to. I understand the security aspects. But practically it has become a difficulty now. It is irritating in case of an emergency. Not sure if it is this apps problem or network carrier's.
I've downloaded the latest version of the app (released on 6th August - yesterday). It keeps going in infinity loop asking me to download the latest version of the app..that too at the time of registration! Even the SMS activation text appears cryptic with garbled text. Your app needs to detect the app version before proceeding. I feel its futile to give feedback and bug reports here since i see the development team responding only to positive feedback. Friends, please take things positively.
Upon providing valid login credentials, the app throws error, " sorry, we have encountered a snag while trying to connect to UPI server. Please try again later" This is happening since April 2021 but no one bothered to resolve this issue. This app is not allowing me to login so it is absolutely useless app for me. Sorry to say but the app & the bank was much better n stable when it was only IDFC .
Doesn't work. I have already registered UPI through IDFC Bank app. I am not able to connect that UPI account to this app. Also, the other bank accounts it keeps on asking me to set the default account for incoming and outgoing even after i have done so.
Probably the worst banking app on the earth. I have never had such poor experience with any banking app. Absolutely no thought has gone into the design and usability. Not at all user intuitive. The very existence of this app is completely redundant. Bank's money is wasted by paying for the development of this app. I contacted the bank and shared the suggestions. Bank assured me that they would look into the issues and get back to me in 24 hours. It's been 15 days. Yet to get a call from them.
NOT BEING ABLE TO SETUP UPI AT ALL. Whenever I tap on GET STARTED WITH UPI it sends a sms, loads snd reads it but says CLICK OK TO DOWNLOAD THE UPDATED VERSION. And when I tap on OK it redirects me to play store even though I am already using the latest version. Stupid bug! Seems no testing done at all
This is an useless application as there is no option for Login. There are two options that says Register or Register with IDFC NetBanking, and when I tried to register, a pop appeared on screen saying 'You are already registered, try to login or sign up with another number'. But there is no Login button there. IDFC did you forgot to add that button or you just hide it somewhere just like those detective games and I have to find that by looking on clues ???
What a waste of time. I want to create UPI I'd for my idfc account and the process involves doing through this bank. The bank never logins through the credentials. Pathetic experience. I have been trying to create the UPI I'd since a month. It never succeeds. Worth customer service.
Very slow app even in 4G connectivity...this app started working and after app update again it is not working. The app developers are not find to be good or professionals since even these much time period, they are unable to develop fully or fix the bugs.
I am facing the same issue of ' Simcard Not Detected' error. I have tried re-inserting the sim , uninstalling and reinstalling the app, cleared cache but nothing works. Still the same error. Kindly fix this please.
Worst app, not convenient, trying since 2hrs, upi pin generated but for payment, vertual I'd generated but always asking - just a step away configure your account. I am using net banking and other banking apps since 10-11 years but never faced such problem.
Does this even work at all. Been forever trying to set it up using my IDFC user ID as well as the 4 digit PIN. Please do some user testing before you send out promotional emails enticing people to install an absolutely ridiculous app,
The most useless banking app in the history of mankind. Always encounter issues when trying to log in. Looks I'll close the bank account just for this. Bank doesn't even care. Atrocious
Why does this require to read my call logs, messages, contacts and media file. Also the app will not work until you give all the permission upfront.
I am not able to add my Idfcfirst account to the upi id created on the app, although i could add the accounts from other banks. The system finds out the account, but when i press next to register the account, it says the account is already added, but obviously its not listed under the added banks
useless UPI app, evertime i open it i have to register and go through all formalities. Sometimes it will give an error as System is acting... not sure in which movie it is acting
What the hell is wrong with your developers ? New GUI says either to Sign Up or register. Sign up- I can't because the same phone # n email is used. Register- says already registered, sign in. Where the hell is Sign In ? do you guys even test before deploying a update ??!
Need more improvement . Not working on android 11 showing sim card is not detected. Hope you will fix all the bugs in the next update.
The experience was great with this app, ussualy in other app I used to get money stuck in between payer and payee, in this that is not happening , and it's a fast process compared to others in my experience
Why should I provide access to Camera, Files, contacts, record videos. No other UPI app need these. The app should work without giving these permissions also.
App is not working. It is just showing processing logo after sending sms. why don't you integrate upi in existing idfc app..
Really worst app and service. Unable to create a pin in UPI app. It is showing library error and too many crashes in the app.
very bad app trying approve one payment since morning unable to do it all day. it just keeps saying that we are unable to connect with UPI server. what is wrong with you people?
Dosent work if SIM is changed. Will not work outside India .SIM is not detected when default SIM is avilable .Very unreliable app dosent work when it's required
I changed my phone and now when I log in to upi app it asks to register again and my existing VPA cannot be viewed or linked. Most stupid app. I sent complaint to support and now my payment are stuck

Very very pathetic app...i have already created upi pin but still get the popup you have not created the upi pin. I will be close the account i do not want this types of errors.
Everytime, it shows the error that the SIM details are not matching with the app data. Sends an activation sms everytime. Then, I get an SMS stating we have registered your request. UPI pin reset is also troublesome. Even though I add IDFC account, it says other bank. Even with the error, I get the OTP to change the UPI pin. Many a times, it won't login.
