Keeps loosing connection to the server. Basic features are very poorly implemented
Notifications are pathetic. Group chats only sync when you open the app so there is no notification of if something has been said. Private messages either notify when you open the app or come hours later on their own. This can't be hard, there are thousands of chat apps on the app store that get this right
* Doesn't sync new contacts and rooms from mobile to desktop. * Call invite pops up hours after call was ended. * Old chat messages come up as unread even if they're already read. * Outlook integrated automated room call or manually initiated room call doesn't come up for all members in room.
Notifications are absolutely unreliable, they come late or not at all. Sometimes I get a notification, click said notification, then have to wait for my entire conversation list to refresh before I can read it. You can't customize notification settings, the shade pulldown is so basic and useless. For an app that's supposed to be business centric, it sure does cost lost productivity when I'm receiving text messages and emails from people referring to Biba messages I never received.
Where is the video calling on Android? UI is terrible. This app need a lot of work it's much better on iOS
... Weirdly old fashioned; it looks like it was written with the original Android SDK.
This app really gets conferences right and I'm switching to it fully for that. The rest of the app seems a bit sluggish compared to other messaging apps though.
There is no backhround sync..is there any reason for not adding dat
It keeps on crashing. My company uses Biba extensively. It is now a pain for me to open by laptop to take Biba meetings. Please help.
My mom likes it
It is going in the right direction, but it is not mature yet. Chat rooms have no good notification control, no way to automatically enable bluetooth, buggy around bluetooth/wifi dual use, and no non-android linux client. On top of that, the communication, both by text and voice, is a bit laggy. Just not ready for the Enterprise, which is their market.
The feature set has been growing, and it's really good. One thing I would like to see is the ability to set a "vacation mode" so it doesn't ring on days out of the office. On Android, it always seems to be running.
This chat client is even more closed then Skype. No XMPP support, poor desktop clients, no Linux support, can't use a browser to create an account. Use Hipchat instead.
Sounds like a good idea, but just crashes repeatedly on my HTC Desire HD running Android 2.3.5
And still growing...
Awesome app, no more waiting for people to dial in or that one person who can't figure out the mute button
Am not getting notifications if I receive any msg. Calls obviously I get, no prob with it.
Hangs, takes ages to connect on 4G, takes years to list contacts.
It's good app
Nice the app
High
App is very heavy and considerably slow down mobile. And also no option to move app to Sd card. Would request app developers to consider this issues.
