Bible KJV

I've tried a number of King James Bible apps in recent years, but this one is by far the best. It's clean, well arranged, and easy to navigate, with large, clear type, which makes it easy to read. In addition to the text itself, the user can make separate lists of "favorite" verses and "bookmarked" verses.. (One of my lists is almost a "mini-Bible," containing dozens of my favorite verses.) You could also use one of the lists for verses you're memorizing. There are ads, but they're very small, and don't get in the way. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best, the only problem is that this app open itself. I close all apps regularly on my phone to save the battery. It did it on my previous phone and I upgraded now to a new phone and it still open itself. I did uninstall it several times and re-installed it but it still do the same. I hope the developers will look into this issue. But thanks a lot, great app keep up the good work.

I have been using this bible app since I got my first smart phone. It is truly a drink of a cup of cold water in a thirsty land! When biblical concepts come up (in random places), I can quickly look up a verse and share it with the listener--and we can read God's word together. My phone broke once and I was without this app for three days, and I was devastated. The easiest Bible app to use out there!

Simple and Awsome. Just a tiny strio below where they put some adds only when you are online. You can search words though this function only helps if you spell correctly or remember a word phrase exactly. But over great. It has the ability to read out text slightly robotic and a few funny pronunciations. I used it most for finding verses in my Bible study or quicke on the way devotions.

This app allows you to read the Bible whether you are online or not. It has audio features that you don't need to be online to use. However it will be better if the developer can enhance the audio future to read out continuously from one chapter to another on its own without having you to navigate to the next chapter and play manually.

It's a lovely app and I like the features, just one thing is missing, which is highlighter. It will be nice if one is able to highlight a particular Bible passage which you like and the highlighter should come with 4 different Colours.

Good work here, kudos to the team. But it can be better, please improve the 'read' feature for daily Bible reading. More controls, easy assesability will help us a great deal. I should be able to play the Bible while walking, running, cooking etc. I know the team that has come this far can do more. You guys are great.

It's a nice, reliable and portable bible app. Been using it since 2016 to date. Also has inbuilt voice reader, you can enjoy the word whilst working on other things.

This is a great go-to for Bible reading and study. Some word searches have so many occurances of the desired word that a search may hit its capacity before reaching the very last book of the Bible. Then I have to go to printed reference material or a search engine. But it doesn't happen often, and this app helps me get what I need quickly.

Nice app but it would be much better if one could setup a profile and use same on all my phones so I can retain my important notes. Example, in a scenario where I lost my phone, I will like to download the app on a new phone and be able to access all my favourite scriptures I had on my previous phone. Just downloaded this app and it's so sad I lost all my favourite scriptures.

The word will stand no matter what I love the app. Just go back to what you had some of these changes on the widget I cant see the scriptures on the home screen. Otherwise love the app used it now on several phones and will continue to do so. The word will stand will all else fails. Keep up the good work.

This is the simplest Bible app I've ever used but the only problem with it is the "search" option. Searching for a text, I type in the entire thing word for word and still it cannot find it. What kind of search engine is that?? I hv it set for "the old and new testament." If I can't "search the scriptures" as the Master said then study becomes frustrating and not a pleasure. Upgrade this and "7" stars not "5" is what this app will most definitely get...🤗

Great Bible app. I've been stuck with it for 3 years. You can select favourite verses, and you can use bookmarks and add comments, it also reads out. Dear developers, kind improve it by adding an option for our backup/restore from a cloud storage (maybe Google Drive for folks using Android). Losing one's favorite/bookmarked verses and notes, due to phone loss/theft/damage should not occur in this age.

It has been my best bible app. The fact that the features like font,background colour etc can be adjusted makes it easy to use. I would love if we could search key bible phrases,not just keywords.

I really enjoy this app, I wish it was on the iPhone's app store, I keep my android just for this app. Someone said they didn't like that the bible kept coming on there's a timer on it that reminds you to read daily, it just needs to be turned off. Someone else said that it needed upgraded because the KJV was out dated, well then don't choose a KJV there are other versions of the bible out there. This has some features other apps don't have and I really like those features.

The is a good app and easy to use. However, the translation is long over due to be translated into modern English language. Nobody speaks the archaic language with which the Bible was translated anymore and so readers find it very very difficult to understand and be motivated to apply what they read. It should be noted that the Bible was not originally written in English. Therefore, maintaining the expired English version is a deliberate attempt to make readers not to understand. Best regards

I have used this app for years now and I love it nevertheless I haven't been able to use the search function of the app after the last update. Whatever I type in to search,it says no matching verse found. I love this app and wouldn't want to delete it, kindly fix it asap. Thanks for a good job over the years!

My experience with this app has been fantastic and this was my best go to offline Bible app. I said 'was' because ever since it was updated, the word-search option no longer works. Could this be rectified? It was previously a 4.5 star for me but now I'm giving it a 2. As I always say; "If it's not broken, dont try to fix it."

I like a Bible that's straight forward, no topics which I may or may not agree to or headings that distort what the chapter is all about. This Bible is simple but user friendly, have used it for 2 yrs and it's my best when I just want to read the Bible. "Update" Better but original was best. I understand the need to modernise & cater to more people but there is enough bibles doing that. This KJV has its own unique niche-people that just want a good Bible to JUST read. That's what made it special

After the last update I'm not very impressed anymore. The layout on the home screen is not very impressive. And I really dislike the bold colored verse of the day widget, I prefer the transparent 1 it had before.

The Best, helps you understand the word. I use this app. for bible study, easy to copy past the scriptures as the sermon is being taught, to futher study at home. The easy to words are sizable by just pinching the screen. Easy, People Friendly APP❤it.

Great app. Indeed great. I write perhaps an online cloud could be made for storing data as in case of a new device so as to easily restore all bookmarks and favorites.

I'm not writing this review cos the application demanded it but cos I need to appreciate this great work. This is by far the best Bible application I have used. It's been over four years since I installed this Bible app on the first Android phone I had and it is one of the application I never want to lose. I appreciate the team that developed this Bible application. I recommend it to everyone. After over 4 years of usage, I still cherish it as ever. Great great work indeed. More grace!

Good app. My biggest problem is the absence of a single page grid view for selecting the books, chapters and verses. The tab and list view is time consuming because of the long scrolling required. Add the grid view and I'll give 5 stars.

Very Good App. God bless the Developers for making His word readily available and share-able 🙏 I have marked several Favourite Scriptures for easy and quick reference. If I change or lose my phone and reload the app, will these favourite scriptures still be available or would I have to mark them afresh?

ULTIMATE TOOL-APP & FRIEND Honestly I use this app so much its amazing and I'm very thankful that I am alive in this era of technology to have such tools to search words through the whole bible or bookmark or copy or share or highlight plus it's Gods Word! :) Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. This is the lightest and easiest user interface Bible app there is. It is extremely easy to use. No extra trappings but it gets you to your Bible verse and has a very neat search feature.
