Bible KJV FREE - No Ads

I just downloaded this, so this won't be a full review. I truly appreciate the no ads. However, upon first impressions, I'd say it needs better navigation. Chapter and verse, not just chapter only. And I'd like to be able to click the book title at the top to change from book to book. It just needs better navigation in general. Very pretty background, though. And no ads. That alone almost makes up for the navigation. Almost. I'll give it a try.

I like that there are no adds. That is the way a Bible app absolutely should be. There is a serious technical problem however that I have with this app. Whenever I rest my thumb on the screen it makes the menus/tool bars, top and bottom auto hide and or auto appear and makes the text jump erraticly up and down on the screen. Makes it impossible to read with your thumb resting on the screen. I still gave it three stars because of that, but otherwise it'd be 5.

the app works ok but if you accidentally hit the screen too many times it goes back to the homescreen and wont allow you back in. you have to close it and start all over. Also there are no shortcuts when trying to get to chapters of books. You have to hit the button through all chapters until you get the one you want in the book you choose.

Update: Thank you Christian Resources for giving me the link to the original version. Original: I LOVED the old version! It's the one that shows up with the older version. You opened it, clicked on Old or New Testament, the list of Books were there, you clicked on each one. It was perfect and so easy-to-use. The background coloring was wonderful. I used it everyday. Now this updated version is horrible! If there's any way that I can get the old version back I'll give it 5 stars!

Not difficult to figure out how to use app, but it is a little tedious because there is no smooth transition from one page to the next. The menu for accessing book and verse is CUMBERSOME. It is free and not always interrupting what you are doing with ads if you opt out of having ads. That is a welcome feature.

At last I found a KJV Bible WITH NO ADS!!!! Hooray!!!! The format is very simple.... so easy to find your book,.chapter, and verse and simple to turn the page over..either next or previous. The font is clear and makes reading very easy. I didn't want bells and whistles just the Bible and thats what Ive got. Thankyou.

This app was just about perfect, and then the whole system was changed, like it is a different app altogether, the yellowish color background is now white, the whole search set up has changed...??? Why??? Very disappointed...😩😢😖 People go through tons of bible apps to find the one they like, and then the people behind the app, feel that they need to change the whole set up on the customers, if you want to redo a set up make a new app, don't try and fix what isn't broken!!!😭

The text is accurate, easy to read as well as adjustable for personal settings. The other features are icing on the cake. A Strong's numbers edition would be very helpful. (I really would like to see a good chain reference in a Bible app.)

Takes too long to get to the page. Two clicks should be all that's needed. A list of all OT & NT books should be on the front page as soon as we open the app - then one click, then click on the chapter number - done. And the app should be quicker to open, nearly instant. Please do this. Fiddling around clicking multiple times for no good reason, Do you know we need quick access to check multiple different verses. Too many clicks/tabs soon becomes tedious.

I use it frequently along with a concordance app and a greek/ hebrew interlinear app. I use it as my kjv anchor for expanding my personsl studies in God' Word. Thank you for making it. one thing I can see that could be improved is when I go split screen, it goes back to the home page and it takes some work to get back to where I was drilled down to. Appart from that, it it a great tool.

I seriously love this app a lot. Simply reading the word of the Lord and without add interruptions 😁. However, I wish I could bookmark the spot I am currently reading in the Bible so that when I close the app and open it again I don't have to jump through clicking on the old virses new testaments and then needing to click on the specific book and then click the chapter I am on within that book. I just wish there where a button on the main menu to jump to the last read/bookmarked section(s)

I prefer a continuing audio from one chapter to the next. Extremely inconvenient to have to click for the next chapter and then click for audio. Difficult when washing dishes, cooking, driving, laying down trying to get baby to nap etc.

I love that you can magnify the size of the text to suit any vision. ideal for anyone who simply wishes to read God's word when a Bible is not handy. A very positive feature is that you can magnify the print within the app with a simple plus or minus for those wishing to read it at a distance or perhaps have problem reading small print. Thankyou for being a good servant and no ads.You will receive your reward in heaven. I wish though that you could place a bookmark to keep your place.

No need to try to rate the Bible, it being the best selling book of all time! So to review the app, I found it to be very easy to navigate, as is the functionality. No congested fearures that nobody ever uses anyway. Oh, not a single ad... that will bless all those that still do not understand that FREE IS FREE..and usually means ads involved-but not with this app. Great job! 5 ⭐ Best book to make an app with!

It would be perfect, except that it has large, annoying arrows placed right in the middle of the page for moving lines of scripture up and down, without an option for hiding them.

Almost perfect app. The Bible of course is the literal word of God and is perfect and this app is a great copy of the Bible if you will. It does exactly what youd expect from the description. Theres just one thing id to to improve it and that is to include a bible reading plan in the app to read in a year

i love having this Bible app on my phone. The only problem is there is no bookmark. So every time you close and then reopen your bible app, you are back to the table of contents again. I can't always remember exactly what chapter and verse I was on when I close it. I really wish this app would reopen to the very same spot where you were when you closed it out. That is the only problem I have with the app.

When the home screen is accidentally touched, app kicks you off. This causes you to have to close it out & start all over. 😩 I have tried to keep this app, but it is SO FRUSTRATING! Just before I completed my daily reading today, I accidentally touched the screen. I was kicked off w/ only 3 remaining verses left to read. 👎👎 I rated this app before, but nothing has been done to correct this situation. As soon as I get time, I plan to search for a new Bible app.

A very good ad-free app that I have used for the past two years. It enables me access the KJV on the go at all times and has been problem free. I would have liked a facility that stored my reading history which this app doesn't have hence the four stars.

This app is wonderful! I is very easy to use and memorize Gods Word. Im visualy impared and you can easily adjust the size of the text. No anoying interuptions with comercials. I thank God for you in the,name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ive been a Bible Schlor for 46 years. Kudos to whomever spent the time in doing awesome work Love And Blessings!!!!

The bible app is pretty good without popup ads and I highly recomend it. I gave it 4 stars only because it would be much better if it had a built in concordance or dictionary like the computer version of E sword does. Esword doesnt make a phone app so this is the next best thing.that is my only complaint. I havent found a better phone app.

Extremely well done allowing us to navigate books and verse with quickness and ease. Many positive features and NO ads to distract us from His word. An app to use daily, Bible studies to church service, you will not find a better app. As said, extremely well done.

If l jump too fast from one book. erase to another book verse (following the pastor), either the old or new testament bar lights up and it won't let me go anywhere until l back all the way out to my front page of phone and then have to go back in to start over. Sometimes very frustrating.

Excellent easy to access no matter where I go I have the word of God with me simple and easy to use anywhere. With no interruption of silly adds etc, so love this version of God's word but would have liked an option to highlight verses etc.

This Bible app is the best ever, very simple to use. It have all the necessary amenities, I love the font adjustment for it allows one to read clearly. Thank u so much because the word bless me and God bless everyone that contributed to this app. The background should be adjusted for more clarity probably background colour adjustment. On startup, no immediate access to Bible books. When enlarging text no proportional spacing and no kerning makes reading klunky. Sorry, but I'm going back to the overly complex 'MySword' program. Just be honest and build it as unto the Lord.. still a good try.
