BibleMe utilizes the learn and test method to memorize Bible verses. The learn method displays the verse with the entire text visible. By typing each verse with a clear guide, you will quickly get familiar with verses and nearly memorize them. This should be repeated as much as necessary until you feel confident you can recall the majority of the Bible verse without the guide. The test method removes the text guide from the display. That way, you can sufficiently test yourself to make sure you can recall the passage without help.

Been using for over a year. It was initially challenging to understand, but this is a wonderful app to easily, and with clear organization, stay on top of the most important thing in your life - God's Word. Learning and testing modes provide an excellent memorization technique. Library feature allows you to see verses organized by your own customized tags. Badges are fun. Developer is also very responsive. I encourage you to use this app daily!
This is a great app to help memorize and retain verses. Since you have to ability to decide on how many verses you want to learn at once, it can be tailored to anyone. Rather you're new to verse memorization or have been doing it for a while, this is a great tool. The system it uses to help with memorization is proficient. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to be able to memorize scripture to apply to their daily lives and strengthen them in their walk.
Different people have different learnibg styles, so this might not be for everyone. However, I think this is way under-advertized. There are no ads! You don't have to login. It's just there to help. It's also organized and there's a short tutorial so it's not confusing. You can do flash cards, or typing and they have fun badges you can earn. Pick your version! I would love to see this go further.. it has so much potential.
I like this app, especially the daily verses and being able to upload verses of your choosing. However, after 30 verses you have to upgrade to the pro version. I have no problem paying a reasonable price for a good app I enjoy using, but I can't find the price anywhere, and even if I click to buy the app I have to put my payment information in first. I wish I had known the 30+ verse requirement and the price upfront, because otherwise it seems kind of deceitful.
The best bible memorisation app I've found, after trying several. Easy import of verses, effective review testing methods (inputting the first letter of each word) and helpful spacing out of review times as you master a verse. Additionally the developers were quick to respond and very helpful when I had a question and feature request. 30 verses free and then a pittance (~$2) to upgrade to unlimited.
The tools, tutorials, ease of use, & attractive interface all do a great deal to help with memorizing and meditating on the Word of God. And I was easily able to add the CSB translation to use for my verses. This app is excellent.
It's exactly what I need out of a scripture memory app. It's lightweight and simple but still has the functionalities I need. It has a lot of room for user modification and customization in the settings. And the pro version is way cheaper than any other app I've found!
This app is more bare bones than other memory verse apps out there-. There's not a lot of choices on how to review a verse. But the interface is nice - this is the only memory verse app I've seen that has any semblance of material design (I think there was 1 more but that app hasn't been updated in over a year). I also like the way you test yourself on a verse - it prompts you to test after 5 min, 10 min, and 1 day.
Best App for Bible Memorization!! I have tried many apps to help me with Bible memorization, and for a while I gave up on using my phone to help me. But I stumbled across Bible memory and I love it! It doesn't have a lot of thrills or features, but it does exactly what I needed to do, and it really helps you memorize in a simple straightforward way.
great tool to memorize Scripture and document Scripure you want to memorize later. Dev, if you see this, I'd highly reccomend you adding a blue or some other colored squiggly line under words messed up on while testing the verse, so the user can more easily identify where the peoblem is in memory. Convenient with notification (optional) and I can adjust the setting to only type the first letter of the word when memorizing the verses! Overall, it challenges me to memorize verses and keeps me accountable :) real good app that gave me confidence that I have actually memorized verses!
I have tried several Bible memorization apps and prefer this one. It works very well, and I like being able to customize the reminder frequency for each verse. Update 12.22.21 - still using the app, still great!
Quickly filled the maximum verse count for the free version, but after a very small one-off payment I'm off again and absolutely loving using this app. Really simple. Quite effective for memorising the verses. And I would say it has been beneficial for my Bible reading overall, as I search verses that I know and love and add them, I have been reading around them and improving my clarity of recollection and context etc. Get this app.
Excellent. Easy to use. Great scripture memorization tool. I've tried others and this is by far the most user friendly. The intervals between learning a verse and then refreshing on it are nicely paced and spaced. Overall great, helpful, and easy to use app. Thanks.
Alright. Does its job reasonable enough... solid tools to get verses, a good, easy category setup.... but where needs is most it lacks. Just seems better tools could help to actually learn, like puzzles and little games or such, and that's something I have yet to find a good app for. And then the limiting to 30 verses in free. I get that a workman is worthy of his wage... but throwing it on people after getting attached seems disingenuous. God's kingdom purposes could so badly use a free app
Overly difficult to navigate. Typing verses on a cell phone is not how you memorize. The tutorial said I could use a voice type on my keyboard, but my Gboard miraculously loses the mic on this app.
So far so good..i was very surprised 😮 and glad at the same time. This app is is very intuitive and easy to use. With very clear instructions having detailed FAQ. This really helped me when I thought I was lost..I'd highly recommend..For anyone wanting a no non- sense tool that will help and challenge you...Fyi it can remind you as well when you forget... give this ah try you will surprise yourself how well your memory is.. This is probably the most practical app in the universe of apps to be frank. I must commend the developers for improving the voice input method, its not perfect but in working condition, I'm loving it! I run the app from "Bluestacks" from my PC and with "Google Keyboard" app installed I can effectively use the voice input method with my Headset's mic. It's exhilarating to speak out the Word and aids me to memorize it even easier! Think I'm sold on the Pro edition. Again well done on making this app! Lastly this app have changed my life in a positive way, all the glory to our Lord, and Savior, Jesus.
Simple and powerful tool with an elegant interface. No unnecessary stuff that often clutters other apps making it easy on the eyes. I love the incremental review periods and the split verses options. It's one of the best investments I've made into my spiritual life. The 30 verse limit is more than fair but I recommend the pro version (which is inexpensive) after seeing how effective it is. I've tried all memory apps available and I find this one the best. I can pick my translation, I can pick my verses, and I like the review logarithms that are built in. I also appreciate that you can try the app entirely - and experience all the features - before paying. The only cost required is $1.49 if you wish to add more than 30 verses. The owner of this app clearly cares about our spiritual walk more than making money.
I've been memorising 30+ verses now with this app. It does exactly what it promises and I'm happy! The system works. Would love to add more than one tag to the verses though. But the greatest blessing is hearing God speak to me throughout the day as verses pop up in my memory at just the right times!
Downloaded it today Tue March 03, 2020. I tried it today as well. I like it. However, it takes some getting use to how it works. Have mastered most of it, LOVE IT! I am still not sure how the flashcards work. Found out how and I like using them, helps me see weak spots. I hope I do not have to stay online to use this app. This would not be good. DON'T HAVE TO, YEAH! I do wish the badges were not red. Have used it more recently and I REALLY LIKE IT. Feel it's a VERY GOOD app so 5 stars.
This app is really good. But few days back, I went to add a verse, I would get a cannot find reference error in spite of the reference being correct. And the verse of the day has stopped showing with a 401 error. Hope this can be fixed soon. P.S: I am using a PRO version. Thanks as soon as I changed yo mobile data, it worked.
It's very useful, but I'm a scholar of Western religion, so I would like to be able to use other texts like the Quran, Book of Mormon, The Apostles Creed, Catechism of the Catholic Church, etc. Just letting us type in a book and verse as an extra feature instead of only having to pick one of the Bible would be great. Thanks for the amazing app, and if you add this I'll give you five stars instead of four.
One of the best Scripture memorization app. There are multiple ways to learn a verse. The default reminder settings are just about perfect. They are timed to help in hiding the Word in your heart.
It would have been a good app I think if the reference section worked. I tried on several occasions and followed the example the gave and it wouldn't connect for me to import the verses I wanted to memorise. I didn't want to have to go to my internet browser everytime to copy and paste a verse. That wastes time and defeats in my mind the purpose of having a Bible memory app. I wish it work but alas 😔.
So far, I am not impressed. I tried to import my first verse, and it keeps giving me an error message saying that the verse reference is not formatted correctly. I went back and looked at their examples and did not see any difference between theirs and mine. Also, I wish there were a way to import and manage the verses online and then upload them to my phone.
Amazing, easy to use app! So many customizable features. Great for beginning memorizers, bit also great for someone like me: I have been memorizing for years, but struggled to regularly review. This app is helping me so much!
Fantastic app and does what I expect. If you're looking to put into practice the Word of God, there is no better way than to know the scripture! I've learnt 6 (lengthy) passages so far in the first few days and I'm well pleased since my memory is terrible.
