Not as advertised. There is no non-dramatized option. Even the narration of the non-dramatizes version has heavy inflection and the narrator does voices and accents. I find it very distracting and just want a plain reading of the text. Easy to navigate, auto plays the entire chapter. Clean look.
Great way to study. The 3 options really allows the reader to set the mode of listening. Sometime reading to yourself, hearing the spoken word in a dry easy listening environment, or hearing the word with excitement audio props. Great app....
This app was great for when I had to take a 17 hour car trip and wanted to just let someone read to me for review. The reader was very good, and actually made the accounts of what transpired more realistic.
Absolutely easy to navigate, highlight, and have it to read out loud if so desired. I like the ease of going directly to the chapter and verse I am looking for.
So far so good I really like how it interprets the hard words for you and you can easily go to any chapter without issues unlike the king James version they messed that audio all up truly disappointing in that one
Reading and Listening at the same time, for me English is my second language and I enjoy listening and read along... It helps me.
I use this app at least 5 days a week. It is great to use at work, and it helps me to stay focused. Great way to exercise the word on the go.
When I read the bible, it doesn't allow me to book mark where I stopped. Also, don't like the audio, would prefer to read the devotionals, etc.
Good voice and pace. I've only listened to the un-dramatized version. Is the Good Word in a good way.
I love the way this version is formatted with the best of the daily content the devotionals, and most of all God's word automated and also not. 🙏
I love the dramatized audio. It really helps me to comprehend the stories and meaning better!
Awesome app!!! Different links for daily verse, daily devotional, and more. It's the best Bible app I have had.
Love everything about this app but it needs to remember where I ended my last reading and needs to continue after a chapter is read.
I really like the reading of the Bible but I just think they should show the scriptures and I do understand it much better in this version
Great audio. We use it at our Men's Bible study, nobody has to be embarrassed trying to pronounce the tough names.
For the most part I really like this app. Narration is fantastic, and I've been listening about an hour a day while I work out. I have two major complaints, and would be willing to pay money for a version that fixed them. First, if I get a phone call while it's playing, instead of just pausing during the duration of the call, it pauses entirely, and I have to manually hit play. I would love it if it just started playing again after my call ended (like almost every other audio app I have). Worse yet, I need to remember where I'm at because when I come back the next day, it never remembers where I was at. Fix those and this would get five stars (and again, I'd be willing to pay for it).
App bugs not addressed in a year's time...uninstalling app. :( I am greatly enjoying the voice feature and the person they selected as the narrator. App is easy to use and to understand. I have mine set for English. I have a suggestion: to be able to bookmark chapters. One bug: 'The Verse of the Day' has buttons to increase or decrease font size. Problem is both buttons enlarge and no ability to decrease font size. (I am using an Android phone: Samsung Galaxy J3.)
I am enjoying reading the Bible again. I especially like how the page scrolls as you are reading. It is very easy to read and understand.
Repeat mode is great. Something is wrong on Font size adjustment. Not enough choices on settings actually there is almost nothing to do on settings. Not enough features. At one point more features showed up but I don't know what happened it went away and can't find it again. I wish you have more translations of the Bible. But overall I like it because of the Repeat Mode feature so I uploaded it on my 4 old devices. Thank you so much and may the Lord prosper your ministry.
I'm loving this app! I'm reading along with the audio and I'm getting so much more out of my bible. The dramatic version is seamless; it doesn't stop after every chapter-however the non-dramatic version stops, making you have to manually begin the next chapter(?) HOWEVER, the non-dramatic version allows you to 'speed-up" the narration, while the dramatic version does not (?)
I enjoy the app very much and I use it everyday for my daily devotional and study. However I have noticed that the version I read in this app is not the same version that the narrator is using there are discrepancies in some of the words and the phrasing. So far I can't see where it has changed the meaning of the sentence, but it is definitely for my taste a discrepancy that should be corrected.
