Bible Promises

The Bible Promises app would be awesome if I could actually read the whole scripture. Between the background picture the app uses that covers up the text and the advertisement at the bottom blocking some of the text I find it very frustrating. I can't give a lot of stars for an app that only allows me to read a partial message. Is a shame since the messages are great, at least for the ones I can actually read.

At last this version is working on my phone, I am grateful. I know you guys went through a lot to fix the bugs and dealing with the issue. I was never wrong about you because I believed that one day the App will run again and that's why I never uninstalled it and patiently waited for every single update. Once again I'm grateful and I say Keep it up... 4 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for you ☺.

I had installed and uninstalled 3 times for the last 72 hours but without much success. Nothing happened when I press on the icon I used to use you apps to encourage Christians. But when I change to a new phone the above happened.

I love this app and have had it for years, but for some reason, I can't get the daily scripture to automatically come up as a notification anymore. I was having this trouble with my old Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and am now having the same trouble with my new phone, Samsung Galaxy 10e. Help? When this is fixed, I will gladly give it a 5 star rating! The new update FIXED the daily scripture problem!!! Now it comes up as a notification again!!! Yay!!! Now I will gladly change my rating to 5 stars!

EDIT 4/26/2020 The app now works fine on Android 9. Thank you for fixing it. ORIGINAL REVIEW This app won't run on Lineage Android 9 custom rom. It just crashes. EDIT. I tried the latest update but it still won't run on android 9. When trying to open it just goes immediately back to home screen. Please fix.

This app uses the same verses over and over. Wish it would post different ones more often. Like that it has categories for different emotions. Wish there were verses for laziness. Love the entire Bible and this App is easy and gives me a verse daily to enjoy. Thank you

This daily verse is notification is wonderful and simple. It would be much better to have the options of selecting the time to get the push notification and and an option to get the push notification with or without a daily image

I've always had this app. I have reinstalled it on new devices multiple times, but like other reviewers have noted, the app WON'T OPEN! Keeps crashing on every attempt. Please update! This is a lovely app!

Not loading on OnePlus 5t. Was referred this app by a mentor, unfortunately the app hadn't been updated for some time; at the time of this review, last update was late 2016. So it probably wasn't setup correctly to run in newer phones or Android.

I love this app I have had this app for many years and I love how it takes life problems and joys and put scriptures to them. Plus it give you daily versus and you can send to family and friends. Thank you and God Bless

Great app. Now with the new update, you're unable to see the name the scripture fall under. The background is white, and the font is white instead of black.

I love the daily promises, but can't read half of it because of the dark background/cross on the right side. Can you change the background by any chance? That would be super!

It's not as good as it once was.I was able to tap bold print and get the full read now you don't, how can I get the old version back

Awesome app. Helped me in my time of need. However, when I first had the app, I used to get daily notifications. I don't get them anymore after updating. Please look into this.

Not sure what happened but I'm not getting the daily SCRIPTURE even though my notification settings is ON for this app. PLEASE FIX IT. I NEED IT. Hurry, hurry.

Hello l have used this app for years and it is awesome but for some reason it won't open. I would love to have a fix. Maybe there is one. Please assist. Regards Rob

I can't fairly evaluate this APP, as it will not run on my Motorola Android. That's probably because the APP has not been updated in three years.

I notice that everytime the verse is different in the notification bar than in the app. For ex today 13 april, it's Matt 11.28 Stress and anxiety whereas when I open the app it's Jeremaih 29:11

I love it n would have given 5 but the app keeps freezing n it wont pop up daily. I like to share these verses n it wont let me any more. Please fix problem.

This is an excellent app. The every day verse reminds me promises of God to remember. It's very encouraging.

the daily verses are most times really targeted, its as if the Lord is speaking to me directly..wonderful app with lots of promises on different themes..but please work on the ad

I really like this app. Especially the pop-up daily Bible reading. Please don't change a thing with this set-up. It would be difficult to make it much better. Thank you.

This app has been installed several times and will not open I'm not happy you need to update it or something it worked on the other devices but not on this one

It contains inspiring and encouraging word of God,helps one to meditate on the word daily.

Exactly the app I was looking for I can select a topic and find God's promises as a solution. I hope you will consider adding other translations in the near future.

Use this app every day. Love it 😊. Would be nice if it could be moved to external storage though

So disappointed that the app can't open on my new device! Please do something for the app is too good to loose.
