Bible Verse of the Day Widget

After all these years of use, still the best BVWidget with just the right amount of options that I care about such as Bible versions, sizes, transparency leveling, and color customization. No new updates give or take a few "days".. I mean years. 😂 and 0 email responses 🤔 Regardless of the nonexistent updates and the "warning" that it's made for "older" devices, and the occasional time the verse doesn't refresh the next day, still works on Samsung and Pixel devices.

Installed late Jan /early Feb 2022 and am enjoying this simple to use widget. Bible version options, text size, background fade, and other easy to choose/change options. Recommend if you want an easy & simple daily Bible verse on your home screen.

This app provides the stated service as stated. I appreciate the widget transparency in that it appearances as a modest, but serious presence on screen. The settings box, however; opens at the slightest touch and i spend a lot of time closing it back out.

This app is a great blessing! ❤️ I have been using it for years now. There are no ads to distract you. There is nothing extra in the app itself, trying to get you to add more or do more. I love to be able to change versions so easily to compare verses. Excellent!!! Update: I noticed that the app has not been updated since 2014. That is amazing it works perfectly with my Note20 Ultra and my Note10 +5G. Excellent!!! ❤️

This gadget doesn't flip up. It's supposed to change verses within 24h : first of all that's too long, it should have timing options in the settings. Second, there's no change of status even after 24h. Please can you fix that ? Also if you changed the gadget interface that should be great.

I like it, I just wish I could wake up to a new verse each day instead of having to wait until mid afternoon for it to change. There is no setting to change the time. Will probably uninstall and look for a new app/widget that provides more customization.

Lately your app is blank on the screen. when I turn off and leave my phone off other doesn't always come back. Also when I turn off sync, WiFi and mobile data that also stops the app from reappearing!

I used to love this widget so much until recently.. Every time I start my phone, the widget crashes and shows a blank space where it is placed on my screen. Have just Uninstaller and found a far better one that does not do this.

Such a shame that this is no longer updated or supported! It really is (was) the best of these apps by far, but doesn't work properly now because it's not updated for modern software... It would have been five stars.

Good widget. Just hope that there are options for the text alignment — left, center, right; and some font style to choose from.

Excellent app. Simple, small and displays your daily bible verse. Plus no ads. I installed this years ago and just reinstalled on my new phone and it continues to work seamlessly which is a credit to the developer.

I love this Bible verse day widget app. Bc technology and cell phones are a way the devil distracts us and having this app I can turn my phone into something positive evrytime I unlock my phone I get a different Bible verse every 24 hours.

The updates are not compatible with my phone im so disappointed :-( I would read then every morning before I would go to work. But now there's nothing! Just a blank square where the widget should be. Please renew this, because its God's word and should be shared with everyone!

Best app of its kind!! It's perfect! Been looking for this kind of app for long time love it and it seems to work really good changes the verse daily!!

I love this widget. Would love for the developer to test to ensure it works with later versions of android releases. To-date, no known issues with Android 9.0

The options are nice. It just never refreshes on my device, LG V40. I have to remove the widget and then add the widget back in order for it to refresh.

Been using this app for years and this is one of the few mandatory apps I install on my Android devices. Vital to my lifestyle. No ads- it's apparently not about money for this app and that's why I trust it. Good spirit.

It's great I love the options for the colors of text and backround. I just dont like that sometimes it wont refresh for days. Am I doing something wrong? Please respond

I love the app - inspires me every day with the Word of God. The app stopped updating when my service provider updated my device with the ĺatest Android Operating System.

Had this on my phone for a year now. It's brilliant. Stable and constant, and excellent choice of scriptures. Thank you.

I like the widget, simple and easy the updates every day. I like how you can change which version of the bible you want it written in.

Sad to give only 3 stars, but the widget doesn't refresh new verses daily like it used to on my old phone. Same verse all the time... please fix that.

I really liked this app when I first installed it, but it longer shows new verses - just the same one thats stayed for months. Something I'm missing on my end, maybe?

The app doesn't update at constant interval, the time keeps postponing everyday. Please fix

Love this app! It shows verses that are relevant to the dates. Birth of Christ verses in December near Christmas etc. Love having a new verse everyday!

Hasn't been updated since 2014 and widget doesn't refresh for days even weeks at a time. I uninstalled it.

Wonderful. Added a share option but not for text? Nonetheless, a great way to start one's day.

updates well enough but hasn't been updated to the latest OS in a while so it won't work right sometimes

App stopped working after recent android update. My wife had the same issue before the update.
