The “Bible Verses” app will help you to learn selected quotations from the Bible. It might be also useful when praying with particular verses.
Features (for impatient):
* learning verses divided into categories;
* multilingual mode: you ca learn and view verses in given languages;
* viewing all verses and the ones, that are already memorized;
* ability to send the verse's content to anyone via SMS;
* downloading new verses from the Internet;
* verse widget;
Description (for patient):
Application usage is very simple: after the first start you will be asked to choose a category of the verses you'd like to learn. After that, app will choose a few random verses from this category and will display them in separate tabs. Learning process is similar to if you were using small pieces of paper: look at the screen often and repeat the content of verse. If you've learned it by heart, click the button on the bottom. App will pick the next one from the category.
If some verse is especially touches you, you can send it to someone by SMS, using the in-app option.
If you want to see all verses, ordered by categories, in application menu choose “show all” option. Such list may be useful when you pray or during discussion, if you want to support your statements with Bible's authority.
For those, who'd like to God's Word be always present on the screen, we prepared a simple widget which shows random verses.
We keep adding new verses. You can download them to your app using “update” option. Application will then download an up-to-date version of all verses and its categories.
App is still being developed, we welcome any feedback.
