Bible with Strong's Concordance

User Guide: The Strong's numbers in the text can be turned on or off by touching the letter S on the top bar of the screen. On opening the menu to the left you will find the following features: 1: An English concordance 2: You can check off each chapter you read and it will be counted in the statistics area. Shown are what percent of the whole Bible and of each book you have read. 3: Backup of notes is through Google. The downloaded app takes up 106 MB of storage on my phone.

Limited Study Functions, so it's not a good replacement for your big book: Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. Good "bare basics" reference w/definitions. NOT for debates! 1.) It is difficult to compare pages because there is no forward arrow, only a back arrow, so I usually need at least two tablets for studying in order to save time. 2.) Search feature is weak. Most key words in verses are indexed, but too often Search will not locate the verse you need for which you've forgotten the text.

I use this app solely for Strong's Concordance. YouVersion Bible is the best Bible app in my opinion - you can change font, compare different translations, highlight, bookmark and label specific verses later for easy lookup later. Which is super handy. But, many times when I read/study the Bible, I want to know the original Hebrew/Greek meaning of a word and YouVersion does not have that feature. Strong's is an essential tool in effective study of God's Word. This app is easy to use for that.

I love this app, I have BLB and you cannot while offline see the concordance. This is wonderful for when my connection to the internet is not working. I use it on my Chrome laptop and it has issues but I work around it. I hope they continue to make it better. Like color change for one, minor thing of course but I would like a feature to change colors. :)

Love this app; it's the KJV and, at a press of a button, you can have the Strong's numbers visible or, press the button again, and the Strong's numbers disappear. Press the Strong's number and the definition pops up. Not crazy about the search feature, it's difficult to find specific verses. I paid 1 or 2 dollars to get rid of ads. Totally worth it; I use this app everyday. Thank you!

Everything it claims. Wonderful tool, I use the concordance way more here than when I study using the actual books, because it is switches instantly back and forth. My concentration is not broken looking up each term numerically as can happen with the books. I have always preferred books, but this speeds up research time, which I love. Thank you.

This is so incredibly useful, complete, and easy to use. Any inquiry that you have during the day when you don't have access to a paper version can be satisfied with a simple perusing through the app. Quicker than using the book also! I have been looking for exactly this for years as a complement to other apps that I use. After comparing to an actual hardcover book, the concordance seems to be accurate to the last detail and you can even copy and past into your messages. If you use a strongs concordance in your studies an do a lot of writing with mobile apps then this is highly recommended.

I love having the Scriptures right at my fingertips with the Strongs app on my phone. One if the features I appreciate is that with one tap I can see the meaning of the original Hebrew or Greek word, without leaving the page I am on, then another tap, and I can proceed reading. Also, it's great to be able to copy and paste Scriptures onto social media. I highly recommend this app to anyone who desires to have a great and simple means to study the Bible.

This is a great Bible study resource! Often, when reading in the King James, I question the translating, and this let's me look at the other ways the same Hebrew or Greek word has been translated. I use it, along with YouVersion which has multiple versions, to get a deeper understanding of scripture. I like being able to scroll through a passage, check out a word, and then go on reading.

This has been an enormously helpful app. Over time so many words have changed their meaning. Many verses that seem to say one thing in modern english but have changed their meaning. If you don't understand th original language Strongs is invaluable. The more I use it the more I enjoy it. It shows where the real meaning of a word is so much deeper and richer than our English language!

The ads are almost completely unnoticeable & are totally ignorable. The app is pretty easy to use with nice features such as adding favorites & marking specific passages. I also appreciate the highlighter functions. I haven't tried any other concordance apps, but I think this one is all that I need.

This is exactly what I needed as a study help. Just the scriptures and the concordance to help understand the intention of the original Greek or Hebrew. The app is easy to use. I love the feature that references all other places that a specific word occurs in the bible, allowing me to quickly jump there and compare. I didnt need or want the other fluff stuff that comes with most bible apps like a daily devotional or prayer of the day etc.

I like the fact that the original Hebrew or Greek is listed next to words of interest in the text. I can save favorite passages to a list. The only improvement I would like to have is the ability to look up the Original words by their corresponding number. Some words are derived from other words and I would like to be able to follow them all the way back. Additionally, it would be nice to have more explanation regarding how brackets and parentheses are used in the meaning of a word.

Love the strongs concordance. Love the simplicity of switching strongs on and off. Four stars because the search feature needs improvement, I know for example that the exact phrase "day of the LORD" is found in several verses but the search cannot find a single reference, disappointed that I have to step out of here to find verses I am thinking about.

I got this app so I can search for a word or phrase to help me share the gospel with others. It worked great for awhile and then the search option disappeared so I deleted the app and reinstalled it to no avail. I emailed the company because they say they would love to hear from me but they never replied!

Good handy Strong's concordance. Convenient when the larger book is not. A must have to understand old English words not used today. The 1611 KJV, in my opinion is the best for it is the closest to the original. Many words used in other bibles are not true depictions of the Greek or Hebrew words. And some words many surprise you of their meaning, as they are not used that way today. I don't want to guess, I want to know. Why? Because understanding truth is important for true salvation. So far it's good I"ve found the highlight for individual verses but I don't like the way it does it. It's better and easier to read when the full verse is highlighted in a block and not a single lined. Could do with better colours. and would like more biblical information on numbered words where posible like my previous mysword Bible app. I have recommended it to others though.

Very handy app to find the original language definitions used in the Word of God. Although cumbersome when you want to see it translated back further than the one definition listed in a given scripture you have to exit the Bible and go to the Concordance itself to look up another number that appears the same definition.

Don't know what happened but today the app began to malfunction. I opened it and the screen was just blank. Can't see the verses, etc.. I uninstalled and reinstalled so let's see. Never had an issue with this app in all the years I've been a user, until just now today.

I just put this app on my phone, not even a week ago. And I have used it every day since it has been on my phone. I do love it. I read through the Bible every year. And I have decided that next year, if The LORD SAYS the same, I will use this Bible to start a new 'Thru The Bible' Project. It will make the project a lot easier and smoother, since everything will be right at my finger tips. Please excuse the pun. I will love not having alot of reference books all over the place. Love this app. It has the Strong reference and links to the word etymology AND shows you where that word is used elsewhere. Can sort by ALL, OT. NT. Can word search. Can easily navigate back to where I started. Invaluable tool to have on my phone.

The app has a good design. I can move left to right from page to page easily and provides meaning of words in Hebrew and Greek with definitions in English. It's good for study and I recommend to anyone who love to study the Bible.

Search results are really inconsistent. There have been quite a few times I have had to use another app to find a phrase that this search indicates 0 results whether I use "exact phrase ", "partial" or both. That is a major nuisance. The rest of the app is fine.

It is wonderful to be able to look at original words and their meanings. It shows the depths of the scripture even better! I really love having scriptures easily available. Great App!!! Love more every day

During this short period I found KJV Bible with Strong's Concordance to be excellent. Retrieving, accessing, etc. Is so convenient. It is an absolute pleasure to use it. I am looking very much forward to learn more of its features especially doing a word study by finding the meaning of the different translations like the Greek and Hebrew. I gladly recommend this very versatile KJV Bible.

I like this Bible app so much that I paid to have no ads! It is clean, easy to use but also easy to study deep in God's word! I love that you can highlight parts or works of a verse, and notes are placed in the text where you can see it but it is obviously not scripture!

It's great to have the KJV which is the direct word of God as translated for the King of England. These translators were working against the Catholic church who believed that the common people could not understand the Word of God. But then, to have Strong's Concordance right there in the text, if you like, is amazing. I am studying much more and learning more than ever. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! Blessings!
