Thirty years later, in 1602, Cipriano de Valera made the first revision of the translation. Interestingly, over time, this review became known as the version of Cipriano de Valera. The reviewer had surpassed the translator.
Over the centuries the review of Cipriano de Valera has itself been the subject of continuing review, among which that of 1909 and 1960, made a hundred and fifty years ago respectively.
