Release Information
The Contemporary English Version (CEV) is a direct translation of the biblical languages (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek); It is not an adaptation or paraphrase of any existing Spanish version. They have been taken as the basis for the translation of the two official versions United Bible Societies (SBU) used in all our translations around the world: Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and the fourth revised edition of the Greek New Testament.
For translation they have followed the translation principles established by the SBU, whose emphasis is on the faithful translation of the meaning of the original text and not in grammatical forms or isolated words of the source text. It has done everything possible to make our public receives the same meaning of the message that captured the first hearings of the biblical text. Therefore appropriate guidelines have been established for this version both in linguistic and literary.
Paragraph has been taken as the basic unit of discourse. Therefore special attention to the phrases that transition within the same paragraph and between all paragraphs that make up the text is rendered. In this sense, history or story so that the cause precedes the effect, that the above information is precede the new structure. In addition, attention has been paid to the different planes that take characters in the story. It has considered how it ends a sentence and how to begin the next; how changes between nouns and pronouns, the distance between the subject and predicate, the rate of grammatical constructions, and the sounds of the words and syllables are given.

You can click on the screen and at the bottom the name of book and chapter appears, pressing the list of books appear in the other chapters that owns the selected book.
You can select one or more verses of a chapter and bookmark also you can share with your friends the verses in different social networks.
By giving clip favorite verses you marked for quick access shown.
The Search menu allows you to place a word in a text field and search the entire Bible, in the Old or New Testament, specifying the search range may take less to find matches, but if you select the whole Bible take longer find the results.
The configuration will allow you to resize letters and reading mode (Night and Day).
