Biblical Pronunciations
I have created this app to help you learning how to pronounce correctly the biblical names of people and countries.
It is free and always will be, no advertising or limitations, only the opportunity to contribute if you want.
With 3150 words between people, cities, places, countries.
You can add a few words as a favorite so that you can listen them whenever you have doubts about the correct pronunciation.
All informations here are available on Watch Tower Library and they are the property of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania
I encourage you to use the official android application of the Jehovah's Witnesses (search for JW Library or jw.org)

It's alright allfor free. It's is missing lots of names which is a bit annoying i'll go back to the other one I purchased.
I would give you a higher rating but the volume doesn't work anymore and this makes this app useless. Sorry.10/16/2020: I did as you said and it works just like it used to. I am happy now. Thanks!!
Love this app! It is now a part of my bible study time! I, as most people, have always struggled with correct pronunciation of names and places. This is extremely helpful!
Volume is way too low on my LG Smartphone. If you don't know how to spell a name, you have to scroll down through the entire list to try and find it. I have this app on my iPad and it works fine.
I use to love this app and give a five star but the audio doesn't work anymore. UPDATE! The audio was repaired, therefore will give it a five star. Thanks

Is great help you to pronounce E8 the word I find it useful some people they gon always try to find something to be perfect long-stick and pronunciate the words it's alright with me so whoever reading this don't complain you ain't going to get everything 100% everybody should remember that
I see all the wonderful reviews. But, I can't get it to work for me. What am I doing wrong? I search a word, and if it is in the list, it automatically pronounces? Or do I need to press and hold on the word? Either way, I get nothing.
Great/excellent to use as you read the Bible. You will learn the correct pronunciation of biblical names.
Doesn't work. I click on the name I want pronounced and it does nothing! Not one sound even! Going to Uninstall this app.

There is a pre-defined list of names, places etc. I was looking for pronunciation on different names for God (ie. El Hanne'eman, Yahweh Tsuri) and these were not part of the list, so it didn't meet my immediate need.
This is the best pronunciation app in the Bible I have yet to find and in a human voice and not a robot. If you listin to the narrator of the book of Nehemiah he is the same Brother that pronounces the words in this app 🤔👍😁
This is an excellent app but pronunciation should be in British Accent as well. Thanks a lot.

This app is really great when I'm doing my morning devotions and I come across a name I can't pronounce

Only names and places are pronounced. There are other frequently used biblical words that are not mentioned.

App doesn't do anything, need it to pronounce the words.
This is a handy little app. I like it a lot. One thing I wish was place names as well as countries and names. Like Sela-hammahlekoth. It's a place but not a country or name so its not on the list. Other than that is a great app.
