Bicycle Parking
- mark where you park your bike and find bike parking nearby.
Find bicycle parking in your area. Add bicycle parking that is not yet on the map and share that info in the public database. Mark where you parked your bike.
Map Markers: *Blue are confirmed bicycle parking areas added by you and me. Tap the info window to view the image and any notes. *Yellow are bike parking / bike racks from external data sources, such as public lists of data provided by your city. *Green is where you parked your bike! There is one green at a time. To delete it and add a new one tap on the info window that says "I Parked Here!" and a message will pop up asking if you want to delete it. Then the "Park Here" button will re appear so you can add another one at your next parking spot.
Don't remember where you parked? Tap the "My Location" button in the top right to toggle between your current location and your parking spot.
Tapping "Add Spot" will allow you to snap a picture of the bicycle parking areas that you know of that are not yet on the map. Your coordinates and the image will be sent to the public database for approval. No identifiable information will be sent along with this information; only latitude, longitude and image! Image is required so we can confirm that the location is bicycle parking ;) we get a lot of images that are not bike parking.

Excellent idea, very handy to be able to add bike racks and then see on the map next time you plan to ride so you know where you can leave your bike safely.
Gonna add five stars because although there may be room for improvement, as far as i know this app is the best of it's kind, and in less bike-friendly cities, we need this. C'mon people, start adding parking spots in New Zealand please!
Unfortunately this app just crashes when trying to add new cycle parking spots which is a shame as its a great concept.
Nothing for my city. Happy to start populating it with spots I know but impossible unless I physically go to them, which is inconvenient.
It does exactly what it's supposed to. It would be cool to be able to add the bike racks remotely, though.
Stopped Working
Like the others my only big complaint is that i can't add spots remotely. I understand that they want to stop non-parking spots from being added but they can also verify non-pictured spots but waiting for several add spot requests to add up. Google street view can also be useful to verify/get pictures. Edit: additionally there is no means of flagging a spot as incorrect or removed.
Great idea but why can't I add parking spots I know just because I am not there right now? Would be great to add my usual parking spots when I'm comfortable at home not when I am in the street :/
The idea is really great but the execution is awful. The features are mediocre and the app seems to have been done by someone that has just started learning how to code apps. Would love to see this better implemented.
I was amazed to find photos of spots in various neighbourhoods in Barcelona. Now the developer has added all the spots in the city from the public database. In many of the sites in Barcelona you can see average occupancy which is a really nice feature.
