Had some trouble completing order as the Pargo option didn't work. Had to complete the order on a laptop. Room for improvement. Update: app is getting worse. I haven't been able to successfully checkout on the app in the last year. You need to have a hard look at this and fix it. Giving me a message to contact the system admin is not customer service. Choosing Pargo is still a big problem in the checkout process and this prevents me from shopping at BoB more frequently.
Have been a user of this app for several years & don't like the new updated version. Font is too large & one isn't able to view as previous. Also not as user friendly and the old version & difficult to navigate
Cropping of titles and images is very frustrating. Most information of an item is jot viewable as it is not sized correctly to display.
Thank you for attending to the modification request! Another item that has caused me overpaying on shipping, is the following: No message from the Seller is viewable before the booking out process for the complete order is finalised. In several cases that has made me miss special or more correct shipping costs. Over several orders that could be substantial losses in monetary terms!
Quality products at bargain prices. Many sellers to buy from. Buyers can communicate directly with the sellers. U can also bid for any product of your choice. The only downside is that the sellers charge their own transport fees, some of which are quite exorbitant
Have used Bidorbuy for many years both buying and selling. I have never had a problem, the website is very professional and service always excellent.
There seems to be an issue where sellers just blatantly ignore messages being sent to them when inquiring about products and Bidorbuy doesn't seem to put pressure on them. I have also noticed sellers making multiple listings for the same product and indicating that they are all of the same quality " new " for example. Yet, you will notice that there is a price difference between all of these products. And sellers dont make any indication whatsoever as why there are price differences.
Great app and platform. Works very well and is easy to use. Only downside is that the shipping amount is usually charged separately and the total amount due then changes quite drastically at checkout. Also the user names for accounts are usually determined by Bidorbuy thereby making them hard to remember.
App needs more feature. The messaging feature is to limited. There should be a feature to search for a seller available as not every seller is a store that has its own section. All sellers should be verified as a standard process otherwise this whole thing is no different than buying of the street. I want to have confidence in the fact that BOB is ensuring a safe legal marketplace where as a buyer I don't feel like I am taking a chance with what I purchase. Otherwise I rather just use takealot.
Very cool app. The only snag is whenever I try to make a payment using my virtual bank card. It won't authenticate with the necessary slot to input the CVV code. Thereby, causing a lot of frustrations over "failed transactions". 😐 Sort that error and get your five stars!
Not a big fan of the app especially when trying to clear your cart of something you thought you wanted. The search feature is fine but the system is discombobulated when trying to ask a seller a question. Maybe I'm just stupid but I don't enjoy using the app all that much.
Was great. But last update screwed it all up (5.2.3). Everything is too big Pictures dont fit, text too big, text labels overlapping so you cant read it. Cant use the app anymore. Wasnt the last "update" was suposed to ensure I'm "up to date" and "got access to new improvements and features"? As for reinstall; I have a rule. Once I uninstall and app, I dont put it back. "It must have been love, but it is over now". Good buy Bidorbuy...
The app is very good. Many of the sellers are unfortunately not honest, but luckily pretty easy to spot.
An easy app to use. No wondering "Now what do I do next?" From shopping to purchase to settlement, a seamless and straightforward operation. On the Auction side, there is good feedback as to where one stands during the auction. A great app!
The app doesn't have all the features of going online. It constantly tell me I have nothing in my basket but when I go online I do. When something is on my watchlist & becomes outdated, it doesn't offer the option to follow the new listing. It should also have an option where you can find ask your messages to a seller and continue the conversation as its extremely difficult to figure out how to do this.
I would suggest adding paypal as a payment cause it's growing in South Africa and many are using it as a payment method
The app is user friendly, the sellelers are honest and give excellent service. Quick delivery
I've been using this app for a few years now. Great app but I am not a great fan of this new version. It is difficult to zoom in or out on a picture and one must scroll down to the end of the page to get to the actual pictures of the item you were interested in. The previous 3 flip through screens worked perfectly. The text seems to be too big allowing some of the text to be squeezed into one side of my screen giving it a sloppy look.
Good and interested, but it should have cash payment on delivery also, some people don't trust online payment
App does not allow me to select a category when trying to sell an item. Using a Samsung A31. Latest updates to date. Otherwise the app is great.
I don't like these new versions they keep getting worse. Older version were simple and fast. I cannot view all items on my watchlist it's always a mission
Initial experience was good. But on my 3rd purchase I learnt that not all the people that advertise there are honest and the possibility of paying for something you will never receive is real... Atleast I got a refund, but won't be using it anymore.
Love the app. One problem is when you scroll down on the list when you select the dropdown menu on the left, you can't scroll up again. Have to go to the Home page and select again without scrolling past the option you were looking for. Seems to happen on bigger screens, in my case it's the Note 20
The interface is nice but can be improved on the idea of getting it to look the same on PC and mobile, lastly the sellers don't give all information on items, such as I don't like it when they say "these images are for illustrative purposes only" or leave important information out like AMD graphics boost then they leave out the bit rate and gigabyte it can handle. .(program the sections of computers and networking to request this information, input="false" or true when info have been added.
I always make purchases on Bid or Buy. Once I had a problem with the seller he refused to deliver my sodium betonite after making payment. The friendly staff at Bid or Buy solved this problem. I received delivery 3 days later.
All I can say is...I have been on my fair share of online buying apps, but i have never seen one as AWESOME as bidorbuy! Im saying this because i have done my comparisons and bidorbuy is the most cheapest and most fun app by faaaaaaar! Thanks. I lovit!
Messages will get mixed up, if u reply a customer via app. This needs to be fixed
Overall great app. It would be great if you could implement a feature where you could post a bulk lot video games/CD's etc. And buyers could have a drop down list where they could select one or multiple items (this feature is already implemented on Ebay and it works great as it saves a lot of time not having to do multiple listings)
Horrible app when making payment with Bobbucks!!!! Why can't you press "Pay" once and then grey it out. Even if behind the scenes it's still processing the payment. The double or even multiple payments are extremely annoying. And it's an issue that's been there for a very long time. Do you not do updates on your app?
