Used the app for two brews so far - extremely useful once you have gotten to grips with the software. It would be super awesome if there was a way to switch between °plato, °brix and SG in the same way you can swap between metric and imperial.
It's very easy to use as I've been using it for years, the only downfall now is that the brew day step timer function keeps crashing so I have to do everything manually, no huge deal but was a very handy function to have.
Did once lose my recipes because it depends on me making a manual backup. But overall love the app but not understanding the BCJP update. I deleted and reinstalled the app but still have the 2008 definitions. Help?
It does all the things you need without being too annoying. Would be nice to be able to import or share ingredient info.
Cool app, but it's not very 🐶 friendly. My dog skippy <3s brewing 🍻 but the app buttons are too small for skippy's 🐾s. Otherwise it's a great app for humans.
Good app. It is possible to have a price field for fermentabes , hops, etc ? And in the end full price per recipe ?
I keep trying to find a better app for this and never seem to
This has become my favorite new brewing software! Thanks
It won't communicate with gdrive anymore to restore saved recipes. :(
Great APP. This is what I was looking for.
Fast and intuitive app.
Really like this app. Fairly basic compared to BeerSmith but perfect for my needs. Would like the ability to export recipes to PDF for easy printing, but it allows XML export so I can take the extra steps myself. I agree with other reviewers that developer should offer a way to accept financial support. To steal a line from Basic Brewing, I'd like to put some change in his guitar case.
A great app that is pretty intuitive and looks great. I have found a few bugs though. Importing seems to be broken. Exporting seems to work though. It tells me to add A LOT of water for my mash step and I can't find a way to adjust the automatic calculation. Timer could also use a little work. Still, it does most things well. A great app to build recipes. Love the calendar function.
Pretty solid but with the following negatives: - no automatic backup to the cloud - can't edit mash details (time, temp, steps), requires choice of a few types of mash extract profile - limited flexibility with instructions. Great that it auto-populates instructions based on ingredients but can adjust recipe if e.g. souring boiled wort then boiling with hops after or if leaving hops or adjuncts during fermentation from boil
The more I use it the more I like it. What I would like to see is yeast pitching temp and end date for primary fermentation (with a number of days calculation). [update] export/import does not work very well: the ranges associated with the beer style is not picked up; the measured values are not exported.
This is a very good app. I would like the option to enter strike water volumes in the calculator. I prefer to use even quarts to make measuring easy. I don't care about water to grain ratio in my process. I can work around this issue by fiddling with the ratio to get even volumes, but I'd prefer to enter them directly.
Love the app, but would like to see some more ingredients added to list and clear instructions on adding ingredients manually. Like how to calculate added gravity
Perfect for my needs. Not as full featured as beersmith, but it does exactly what I want
Love the app. One problem, as soon as I started adding ingredients and new hops to ingredient list, the screen goes black and the app hangs and stops responding.
Colour is only in SRM whereas being able to select in EBC would be more useful, esp when working in metric units.
Everything you need for homebrewering all grain batches. Simple to follow, Clean platform and super user friendly. 10 batches in so far, all of them successful :)
Great app but to be able to save and back up recipes separately would be great. After having problems with Google play services crashing I've just lost all of my recipes.
Works great. Scales recipes well for custom volumes. I do BIAB - how about a toggle for "bag squeezers" like me :) Edit: I now see the Mash Profile Editor, that should do the trick.
Like the app in general, but it is not useful for nano batches - 4-5 liters. Please make it possible :)
Would love to share & download recipes of other Biermacht App users.
Automatic brew timer per recipe and works with BeerSmith recipes. Amazing!
Great for building recipes and guiding you through your brew day.
The Program for brewing. Simple, versatile and it works.
Great app, but it takes a bit to figure out. The brew day timer would be a wonderful help, but it crashes each and every time. A simpler way to contact the developer with problems would also be nice (you have to sign up with GitHub).
