To show you where you are on Earth, Big Bang AR needs permission to access your location. The app also needs access to the camera and photo gallery on your device for the AR experience to work, and to save photos directly to your device. This data remains anonymous and will not be stored or shared externally from your device.

It's an amazing app!! From Big Bang to Solar System, this app covered all of the stuff. The explanation, the music in the background are perfect! But it's AR that makes it more amazing! You can turn your mobile phone around to see all of the stuff happening. We can even explore a star from all perspective.! Thanks CERN for makibg such an amazing app! But please can you make an app that covers space stuffs like Black holes, Neutron Stars, Quasars Galaxy's and more and more.
Launched the app with the Samsung note 9. Very lags and the device get really hot quickly, didn't want to harm my device so uninstalled it. Besides, the camera moved as I move the phone and there is no options to keep the camera stay still, inconvenient. Though it was a fun app to get to know the universe, love the concept.
I really love the animations etc. from the app. But there's major performance problems that produce MASSIVE heat on pretty up-to-date smartphones! Please optimise the app, so it won't heat up the devices of users up to 44°C!! 😭
The content is high quality, visually. Really nice. But why exactly does this use AR? I don't see any reason for it. Could be easily a 360 degree movie. Depth of information is not enough to make me want to keep the app on my phone or watch again. Also, why is this a native app? Getting rid of ARCore dependency, using the phones sensors to look around, would have been equally nice. As much as I like the content, seen it once and uninstall. More than 100MB is too big to keep on the phone.
After install after clicking accept on all permissions it crashes. On re opening the app it crashes. When you take a picture when you get it working it crashes. Asks you to look around sometimes but doesn't move your camera showing you a fixed point in your room, then guess what...it crashes...
Pixel 6 Pro. Can't get past the first load screen. It instantly freezes, and then crashes.
App will NOT load at all. The loading circle starts but then freezes and stays there for hours!!
Very buggy. Disappointing. Open and worked the first time I installed it. After that wouldn't run a second time. So uninstalled and reinstalled. Now won't open at all. Just hangs. 🙈
one of the best simulations. Though a very short intro, enjoyed it a lot. Developers took quite some effort in making it.
Magical but doesnt load on my galaxy21. Please fix it, and anything else you can add the same way will be awesome. Thanks.
I came upon this app when reading about the research into particle physics performed at CERN. It's the first augmented reality (AR) app I have tried. It's graphics and stories summarize theoretical stages of the Big Bang. Good work!
Brilliantly made visualisations. Short history of the birth of the universe, and possibility do deep dive and learn even more. Very well made 👍
The opening loading screen keeps getting stuck. The app wouldn't start. I use OnePlus 9 Pro
Wow! An incredible experience. It's quite a little fast and resumed the story but out of that everything else is incredible!
It was good experience to have universe in my palm but it stopped responding to touches after solar system appeared, if there was supposed to move phone to left right to explore then it wasn't working either.
awesome experience except it is very very laggy and i believe there should be a setting to make it either lots of effects or littoe effects so it doesnt lag as much.
Great idea, but it's so slow on my device and my device has a Snapdragon 845. It should be fine - all AR is normally smooth. Instead I get 1-2 fps in this app.
Niiiceee! Fantastic sound experience. Majes me say" it's to damn short! :) There is some cardboard experience? Would be great. We want some more of this!
App used to work fine on my Note10+, but not it freezes while loading and won't play. I've cleared cache and reinstalled with no luck. Too bad.
Crashing, I've got a Note 10+ so it can't be a lack of processing power. App just keeps crashing after it tries to load
Not working on One plus Nord 2. After installing only black screen appears and all the navigation functions of the phone gets blocked or hanged.
Thank you for this beautiful experience and thank you for providing it free of charge! I only wish it were longer, and that the AR were a bit more stable, but still absolutely fantastic!
😍 this is the best AR app I have played It's not lagging on my poco f1 just some heat (it's normal to experience heating in AR), animations are great, smooth interface.
What a beautiful display! Particularly enjoyed the focus on hydrogen and helium - it called some parallels to mind about characters like Romulus and Remus or Castor and Pollock. After review I'm curious about the relationship between hydrogen and RNA coding a la epigenetics. Thanks for creating such a wonderful educational piece.
I wanted to like this one but it will not play smoothly on my device. I have a Note 9 and other AR apps play fine. Maybe this one will work better on another device?
Showed this to my 11 yo. nephew and it changed his world. The visuals make all the difference. Never undermine the power of the science perspective.

Does not work on my OnePlus 6T. It tries to load and then just freezes. I was looking forward to this to... Sad day.
I absolutely love the idea behind this app and plan to always keep it on my phone. That being said it has major technical issues on my Samsung Note 8. It's equipped with an octacore / 8-core processor and is still struggling with poor framerates, my device got hot, and the battery drained 10% during the short session. I notice other comments say the same. I really hope this issue is fixed, and perhaps we could see more chapters in future involving the creation of water, cyanobacteria and o2.
