Big Battery Indicator

It's a bit odd really. The widget is a large number showing the remaining battery percentage inside a rainbow coloured ring which doesn't mean anything. Even the number of segments in the ring (37) is odd and as the battery level approaches zero the predominant colour is green, so it makes no sense. It just looks pretty. Does the job though, quick and easy to see your remaining battery level. The font and show/hide options don't do anything on my phone, nothing shows on the status bar.

This works pretty well, and the numbers are a decent size, but... it really needs a font that isn't variable density, and more high-contrast, for those of us who don't have 20/20 eyes. None of the choices are contrasty enough so I can see it regardless of the background. Solve this issue and I'll come back and upgrade the review!

This app does what I need. A battery percentage displayed on the notification bar and doesn't cause problems with the Android interface or OS. I use this for the Red Magic 5G that Nubia makes. They could easily update this issue on the phones through updates, but they have not added it, so I needed a reliable 3rd part app to help with this feature. Thank you!

I have this installed on all my devices because it shows large letters which are easier for me to read. But lately it has stopped running when I start my devices such as my tablet that I power down when not in use. I have to wait for the devices to start then go in and tap on the app for it to start when it used to do so automatically when it was first installed. This is making me consider alternatives.

great until recent phone update! I have a Samsung S9. after a recent phone update, this app started using too much battery. I love the simple display - its so much easier to see than the small battery indicator on the status bar. if you can tweak this ro be compatible with the recent update, that would be awesome - otherwise I'll need to find another app.

Simple battery indicator with a large size number which is what I want. Uninstalled because the colors are gradients and fade out. Would reinstall if it had the option for solid black.

Now that Google has decided to make the battery %age tiny in side a line drawing for no reason at all, I can't read the number easily. This app us perfect and shiws the % clearly in a bright indicator in the status bar. This is the only one to fo tjis and so gets 5 stars from me. Excellent, thank you. Update: Doesn't work with Android 10 sadly. If gets updated I will use again.

Apparently the app was designed for older phones and it is not compatible with the latest phones. An upgrade for the Big Battery Indicator requires an update to allow the newer phones to operate. I cannot give any rating Big Battery Indication.

Pretty good so far. Everything seems to work, " almost" everything . It's a small thing I think. The temperature in no way shows the correct reading. Either for outside, or the temperature of t battery. Too bad I can't screenshot the temp now. It is supposed to be battery temperature right? According to the app it's 95' F, ?

Great! I was struggling to see the tiny digits in the standard Android 11 status bar indicator on my OPPO phone. This added a much easier to read one at the left on the status bar, plus an automatic notification in the lock screen, plus a giant readout if I open the app. Nice work!

The large font on the status bar lets me finally see how much juice my battery has without needing my reading glasses. This app also has everything you want to know about your battery. There is only one thing I would improve and that is to have the widget also display the battery temperature. Otherwise this is a fantastic app. Update 12/24/19 - phone updated itself to Android 10 and now this app does not work. If the developer reads this, please fix this app. When it worked, I loved it.

Adds numeric indicator to top of home screens and has it it huge numbers if you open the app. Now I do not have to swipe down to check the battery level. The app also has a power level history and allows you to change the font slightly.

I had to whitelist the app for the widget to update itself, and so far it seems to work OK. Widget looks way better than the other ones here, and so far no excessive ad pestering. Only caveat is that the widget icon takes up more than one place on the grid despite being normal icon size.

Only had this for a few weeks and greatly appreciated it. Worked beautifully, but today it keeps closing. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and it says it is for an older Android version. Please fix this. I wish to keep using it. Update: it's working for now. I hope it continues to do so.

This is the best phone battery indicator because its big enough & round & real easy to see & nothing to understand about & you don't need to do nothing with this app but just install it & it just sets itself after installation. So you can drag & drop this app to add it to your phones home screen & then forget about it & then you can have this to look at clearly for the battery percentage all the time. Better to read than the one that comes installed on your phone that is so very small to read.

Excellent. Simple design (KISS), BIG status #s at top, great info on recent 7-day usage and the apps associated with that usage, info on the predicted battery life remaining, time until full charge, and best of all - - NO ADS. Well done.

aaThis us a great app app It clearly shows tge vattery percentage in a large coloured font at the top of thr screen BUT for some reason it has stopped working as it says the Android system is new. I have an a20 Samsung. I can't find any other app that does the job as well Thanks

On my ZTE phone the display on my screen shows the current battery status, which is what I want. But this same app on my LG phone, does not show current battery status. Have installed and uninstalled and reinstalled, but cannot get current status to show. Help!!

Great while running on Android 9. Thats why I have given the 5 star rating. Unfortunately the app no longer works after upgrading my tablet to Android 10. I look forward to an update to get the app running on the latter update.

Great app. Thank you Mr. Chen. How hard would it be to modify the app to notify me when the battery drops below 40% and also notify when charging is at 80%. I like to keep the battery in the optimal zone, not over drained but also not overcharged. Please advise. Thanks again for your fine work.

Very good, but I can´t find several styles of indicators. It just show one. In my phone Asus with Android 8, I just have an icon size 2x2 and in a LG phone, using Android 6, I just have a 1x1 size. Despite this, it´s cool and I recommend.

Large bright app display is super easy to read. Smaller color display always on home screen lets me see battery level at a glance. Color settings customizable! No ads. Highly recommend this app.

Used to work fine. I have to manually click/open app to get the correct percentage of battery. Not updating on its own now. Should be an easy fix for developers. I will update this review when fixed.

thank rainbowpoem2010 today i got tired of configuring the battery widget i was using every time my tablet did a reboot. i downloaded several battery widgets today and i really like this one. big battery indicator is easy to set up and has several uses and only uses 20 mg of ram. thats more than the other, but its worth it.
