Big Book Alcoholics Anonymous

This app is very helpful for the individual who was an alcoholic addiction. But can you PLEASE get the advertisements off this application. It's awesome that you're offering it to the individual who is struggling with addiction, but it's very annoying when you open up the application so that you can study along with the A.A meeting room it starts playing music or sounds and it makes everyone in the meeting room mad because it's supposed to be quite expect for the person whom is reading.

This app replaced the old app that was discontinued. Since I've had nothing but problems with pop ups and adds, and now I can't get to my regular readings because of this one add pop up that isn't working, so I can't close it. Nothing like trying to do your morning meditation and quiet time with your daily readings where there's a bunch of pop ads trying to get you to buy stuff.

I use this app to help me read along with the big book because hearing the words while reading the book helps me slow down and understand what I'm trying to read instead of just blowing through it as quickly as possible as I do with most books. The sound quality isn't perfect but you cant beat the free audio!

I love this AA big book audio application! I allow this app to read to me as I follow along in my big book with a highlighter. I will pause the audio if I need to highlight a sentence or two and then resume. This is an awesome way to get through the big book while listening and reading and highlighting! Amen!

This App is very helpful to my recovery. It's got everything. The Big book, step workshops, and plenty of great speaker meetings. Very easy to navigate. Works great every time. I highly recommend it.

The readings were easy. The app had in app purchases, which defeated the whole feel of AA. AA is supposed to be free, so that bummed me out. But I was greatful for the readings. It would have have been more helpful if there was a free link to a sponcer. That would have kept me on the app. Sadly, I deleted this app do to in-app purchases. Best of luck to you all!

There is a RIDICULOUS amount of ads. every few minutes the audio stops. it's as if they make it frustrating on purpose to force you to buy the app to remove the ads. it's such an annoying system that you can now gurantee that you won't see a penny from me.

I use the app every day for the Daily Reflections and use it for the Big Book in meetings. Having all of the readings together in one place, clearly marked, comes in very handy for impromptu gatherings when there might not be printed copies to read. Have had occasional glitches in getting to the Daily Reflections, but nothing that would deter me from recommending this app. Enjoy, and perhaps we'll meet as we trudge the road to happy destiny.

The reader has a nice voice with great inflection and is easy to understand. There is a bit of background noise which can be a little distracting. Thank you for making this available on audio!

the ads cut off the last sentences of the chapters, but its a great app, i no longer have to carry my bigbook, the readings are great, easy to use, and i have the sobriety textbook in my pocket.

I paid for this app several years ago and now I can't even read the how it works chapter 5 to its completion because the add at the bottom cuts off the pages. And now I have to re-pay for access to any audio features. At time of purchase all access was given for life of app. Whats up ? Just because you guys update,shouldn't mean that we who have already paid before update,should lose access to what we paid for. UNCOOL.

When you first download the app its wonderful not many ads. I had it for a few months now and when I go to read the daily reflection all this other junk pops up.

I hate start up and add on bottom I'm not looking for a hook up. I no longer have sobriety calendar. This ap upgraded on it's own and I hate it. I'm now experiencing daily reflection not working, since july 1st.

Good for those that have a difficult time reading, concentrating, or seeing print. Plus this app does not weigh as much as the big book does! Thank You

Excellent app for youngster as well as midiochers , Please Develop the app more advance , like the speaker is audible but the written also move the wordings accordingly .

the app allows me to consentrate on what is being communicated. defocusing on the words needed to understand enables me a complete comprehension. I highly recommend this app. it stops you at the end of the first chapter, telling you to pay now. untrue, just start the next chapter and get sober!

This app is a great help for those who have troubles reading or concentrating on what they read like me. Listening while reading has greatly assisted me to read through and work the 12 steps needed for me to succeed in my long term addiction and makes my battle of recovery much easier

meh? Not the worst old manly voice I've heard for an audiobook but there are several ades, and yes you do have to pay for most of everything on this app 😂...if you're going to pay.. . audiojoy... an idea...

We use the audio at our home group big book meeting and it has been a big help to us. I recently downloaded my own copy and bought the full version as I'm sure I will get much use out of it on my commute to work.

clear and straight forward. ads are a little frustrating, but understandable for a free application. 😉

The app crahes a lot. quite a lot. Sometimes does not resume form where we left i am using premium paid version, still the ads pop up sometimes. quality of app leaves a lot to he desired three stars are for makijg an app - audio book for AA big book is an awesome effort

I like this app and use it everyday for my morning readings. I wish it offered options on the voice that does the actual readings. His voice is a lil monotone and sedating to me...sorry, but just sayin 🙄🙄🙄

Its perfect qhen starting in AA and cant afford the book yet. Also to understand the language since they talked so different then. Now i use it when me sponsees are goinf through the steps to get the stepa fresh in my head before we meet. I just love it.

Now got lots of ads. Yes you can upgrade but it costs a lot of money and we don't know if this app is self supporting, plus there's plenty of free apps with no ads.

Awesome app I highly recommend this to anyone in twelve step recovery, it's all here the history, the program, meditations, prayers and a whole lot more.

What a wonderful app! I actually work at a liquor store and cant really bring my big book to work. I just downloaded this app and can't say enough good things about it! Stay sober people! 😎🤓
