What a disappointment. Kids were really looking forward to this but the camera function doesn't work for the treasure hunt so can't unlock any games. Developers should be ashamed of themselves.

Sadly I couldn't get the treasure hunt to work. I was desperately tapping on a coin but it didn't register. My son is desperate to unlock the games so he was really disappointed. There needs to be another way to get at the games.

There have now been several updates. The collector cards now work - you can hear Roald Dahl talking. Unfortunately even though I can now see the pictures through the camera and see the twirling coin we are still not able to 'collect' it, despite numerous attempts to 'touch' it. If you can get this fixed so that we can collect the coins and unlock the games it will be perfect! Sony Xperia X.

Only scans 2 of my cards. :( paperwork included from library says to get names and numbers from posters to unlock games. App wants to scan the pictures? So far a let down. :(

Was really disappointed with this first the camera didn't work then when it finally did and we collected all the cards in our library it only registered the first one despite several attempts had 3 very disappointed children

Camera function not working, even after update this renders app useless. Disappointed 6yr old son. Frustrated me.

Had to install app three times before camera finally worked! But then app never worked for treasure hunt.. 6 years old son really disappointed.. Dad really frustrated.. (Great idea poor result..)

samsung galaxy s5 marshmallow . Camera loads and can see cards but nothing happens. Tried numerous times and on different device (samsung tab 4) and have also uninstalled and reinstalled accepting 3 different promts to allow the app use of the camera, with no luck. Have 2 very disappointed children.

Have managed to download it onto my note4 but that's as far as I got as app does not do anything and can't get past the first page, pressed all the corners and nothing happens. Will be deleting it if it is not sorted soon. Kids are disappointed as they were both looking forward to using it in the library. Sort it out.

Camera function does not work. The app is based around capturing images, and it does not work. SRC only lasts for around seven weeks, so if this is not fixed pronto, you are going to have a lot of disappointed kids. This is the same with three different android phones I tried. Whoever does the testing on this should be ashamed.

Kids were really looking forward to the treasure hunt around their library but the camera function isn't working properly so nothing happens when they find a poster. Used the apps in past years reading challenges and they worked fine. Sort this bug out and will happily give five stars

We have installed and uninstalled and all sorts to get this to work but despite allowing all the permissions (worrying that it needs access to your call list and photos) this still doesn't work on the Samsung Galaxy S5. We're had the app since the local libraries launched on 16 July and despite the Android 6 patch, this still doesn't work. Librarian confirms that someone else who had a problem also was using the SG S5. Pls can you fix!

Try having a 6 year losing it with you whilst spending 10 minutes trying to load it followed by the camera not working.. Then there's the four year old trying to swing off book cases whilst trying to use the eyes in the back of your head. Most stressful visit ever to the library.. The previous apps have been great...

Visited the library to sign up. Did the treasure hunt. Downloaded app once home. Realised needed to return to the library. Did so today with excited 8 year old but nothing happened, pictures did not come alive and nothing registered so games didn't unlock either. Using Android 5.1. Volunteer in library said Apple works but Android doesn't - not good when trying to encourage young children not just to read but to enjoy books.

My 7 year old returned from the library after registering for the challenge immediately downloaded the app only to find he can't do anything on the app until he gets his first card or visits the library again. The book sorter has an error, no books found no matter what selections he makes. Had a huge opportunity to capture him immediately after he returned with his first book to read. He's lost interest in the app now.

For a parent of a child with special needs. Trying to explan while child has melt down. That I can not get app to work. Is not helpful. I tried changing sims over incase it was a data issue but no. Library staff said there is a problem with Android. App is only working on Apple phones . While in the library we found all 10 Pics but that was it as camera did nothing no sound though earphones. The collection cards don't work either. I have removed app and reloaded but nope still don't work. So come on sort it

This app relies on the camera to do treasure hunt and collecter cards (basically everything) and the camera function does not work. What is the point! If I could give no stars I would. Shame, as could have been great.

Could not get the camera to work. Uninstalled app then reinstalled it still no luck so have given up.

As per all other posts the camera function doesn't work. What is the point in promoting this when it is broken. Thanks for putting my kids off going to the library.

Very disappointed Son, went to the library today but pointing the camera at the posters does nothing on two devices. Not surprised to see many others having the same problem. Massive issue and needs resolving very quickly.

Downloaded the app specifically to do the library treasure hunt, but it did not work. Please fix.

The camara loads but when I scan something it doesn't do any thing fix it Roald Dahl doesn't say anything

Downloaded this what was the point does not work. Library not interested in sorting this out., definately not encouraging kids to read,.. get your act together.,a big wash out and a waste of tax payers money paying for this.

The latest information suggests the camera glitch is fixed but I have just reinstalled the app without any success. Please repair as this a must have for my 7 year old.

Nice idea but when it comes to using the app....its not working. You should inform the libraries of this fail. One very disappointed little boy!

Clearly the issue you've said you've fixed isn't fixed! I'm a volunteer at the library for this challenge and it would be nice to show the children this app but since it doesn't work I can't!

Camera does not work on android 5.0.2 on Samsung A3. Without this can't follow treasure trail or unlock games. Have been into 10 schools promoting this, great reception to idea, disappointed now.
