When the phone serves as the Wi-Fi access point, AKA hotspot mode, this app is totally useless. It insists that I need to turn on Wi-Fi to connect to the Chromecast device. That should not be necessary. Most other apps have no problem functioning and connecting to the Chromecast via the hotspot (except for this and Google Home).
I use to LOVE this game but for the last month my family and I haven't been able to get to work. We've tried rebooting the Chromecast, unplugging it and plugging it back in, uninstalling and reinstalling the app on all devices and nothing. iIt just freezes and won't move off from the finish setting up screen. A perfectly good game that we can no longer be enjoyed, BOO!
Have absolutely no idea how good this game might be, since from first installation it has failed to get past the spinning 'loading' animation. Very disappointing, but not unexpected given the reviews of many other users. I have no similar issues getting ALL other compatible apps to run and cast correctly on my Chromecast, BTW.
The app is not working on my Nexus 6p and Oneplus3.. it's stuck in first screen which keeps saying waiting for Chromecast. I am using chromecast gen 2. The app connects to the chromecast and starts playing the intro video. After the intro video is completed it doesn't proceed. On the phone It says Generating questions. Waiting for a few more things, connect to chromecast..
Useless, can't get past the loading questions stage. Shame too, looked like fun. Given that people have had the same issue since at least March I'm guessing no updates are on the way
Game hangs after connect, does not load questions, looks like it's in some stupid loop. Using Nexus 6P like another recent reviewer. Andoid v7.2.1 would give it zero stars if I could. You would think Google chrome cast would work well with Nexus 6P. Yes both on the same WiFi....
My sister and I play it a lot and even though we don't know all the answers it's still loads of fun to play as a family.
Does not work. Tried it on to devices. Sets up ok on Chromecast but won't finish connecting on phone or tablet.
Irrevocably broken. Stuck at "finish setting up your quiz to begin". Seeing as I'm not the only one with this issue, I'm guessing the app is no longer supported.
I really liked this game and always had fun playing it. Now it does not recognize my Chromecast or Nexus player. I would give this game 5 stars if they made it work again.
I think the ideas great and it looks like a great game but it's just stuck in finish setting up your quiz to begin. Please fix it
This app has never worked since I've downloaded it. It just keeps telling you that's its preparing to work but never actually does.

Not enough variety in questions. Like all question are very similar. Doesn't seem like it would be hard to give more variety.
I cannot play, at all. It is stuck on the loading screen for connecting. I tried with my Nexus 6p and Pixel XL. They both have 7.1.2.
Game doesn't work, just sits there loading saying it is connecting to my chromecast but never loads the quiz.
Connected to Chromecast then won't start game. Keeps searching then says reconnecting to Chromecast... Bad

Useless - won't find chromecast, although all other apps can see it and use it without any problem
Nice idea, but too slow between questions! The questions themselves aren't great either - I know it's from the knowledge graph but perhaps that's just not a great idea...
App is not working. I'm stuck in a boot loop with the Chromecast2 and the app. The app says "waiting for Chromecast" while the TV says "Finish Setting Up Your Quiz".
Please fix, I tried two current Android devices and first/second generation Chromecast but it never gets past the loading video.

This could be really great. It needs more styles of questions and a semblance of a difficulty curve.
Never works. I've installed the game 3 different times on 3 different occasions and it has never worked.
Havent got to play it yet. It seems like it is getting hung on configuring the game and setting up the questions and never gets past that point
Excuse me! Why are your questions NOT geared toward learning and encouraging players to learn the questions they miss? A dunce hat! Really? Well, I do a jam up job at Trivial Pursuit [even Genius level game], and you could cause people to think themselves stupid, retarded or dumb! Uninstall! My review will be this exactly. And why do I have to guess how many "famous person height" is K2, or how many cats tall is Beyonce, for a love of God! What is wrong with you peeps? SmH!
