When I click the notifications that popup in my phone menu, the app never opens and takes me to the forum thread. If the app opens at all, it closes itself immediately. In addition, it is near impossible to use the calculators via the app, which is one of the main reason I am a pro member. It would be great if the app was as useful as the website.
Can't log in - I've had the app for a while when suddenly today I was unable to see anything in forums, inbox, alerts, etc. I just kept getting an error message saying 'contact support'. I did so, then uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now i can't login. I can login fine on my computer. This has happened a few times before. Frustrating.
The easy access to the forums, webinars and blog is nice. Don't really understand why the Money podcast is current within the app, but the REI podcast is not and the Business podcast has never been accessible from the More menu. Also, I would probably buy some of the books within the app if I could find links to any of them. The website is a fantastic resource, but the app only takes me to a fraction of what is there and it would be great if you could build it out further.
Everytime I try to login to my account, I click the button and nothing happens, not even an error message. I double checked my password and can login via a browser just fine. I contacted support and went through some troubleshooting and still no success. Deleyed the app and reinstalled per the help instructions, still nothing. Frustrating to not even be able to login to access my Pro membership.
I love BiggerPockets but I have an issue reading blog posts on the app. For some reason, the text overlaps on top of the photos that are embedded in the body of the article. It makes parts of the articles not legible. Please fix!
It keeps crashing to the point that it is impossible to use. I have to use the browser on my phone to go through the content. Already sent them feedback twice about this problem but the problem keeps getting worst.
I really love the value bigger pockets offers. Both on their website and on this app. The only thing I'm struggling with is seeing other people's profiles on this app. Every time I click on a profile the app freezes. I have to force close it and then reopen bigger pockets app. Then hopefully remember to never click on anybody's profile. This restricts me from contacting other members. Kind of a bummer but I still can get all the content. Over all it's a great app.
Android user. App is total garbage. Constantly crashes and freezes. BP is great when it works. What are you people doing that you cant fix this? Had it for months with these issues.
Like all the reviews below, it immediately crashes when opened. Installed and installed many times with no change. Worked fine for years in at least letting me access the app but I got a new phone and now nothing. My loyalty is unwaivering but c'mon BP, you're better than this.
This app does not open for me ever. Crashes every time. I paid for a membership and I would love to be able to use the rental calculator I paid for and access my account through the app but this app doesn't cut it. Please invest in creating a functional app to allow us to do rental analysis on the go.
Horrible app. Was always evident that it was developed in the stone age and not modern, while offering very limited functionality. Unfortunately over time things got worse and now app doesnt open 9 out of 10 times and just contantly crashes
So far, on my phone, it is virtually unusable. Won't open 9 times out of 10. Only good for receiving pop-up notifications, then need to open my PC and login to check the notification.
Love the site and network, but this app needs some serious work on android. The app isn't stable at all and it's a shame for such an amazing site to have such a terrible app/mobile platform. The forums usability on the app is always just horrible. There are many quirks that needs to be fixed in order to increase user experience on the app. BP, please invest in your app and help to better the experience.
BiggerPockets surprised the heck out of me. They are really good and give a ton of real and useful useable information. When I heard the podcast for the first time I thought it was a lot of bs, but I kept listening and before long I was hooked. I thought it was just another one of those know it all guru things to sell me some deal about the 'secret' no one but they know. Instead I found them more then willing to show the real ups and downs. Check it out. Glad I found them.
The forums aren't well organized. I can't find an answer to my post before posting it. Also, as a brand new user, there's zero help from the app. A lot of other users aren't happy to explain a big concept, when you ask a beginner question in an advanced forum. There's not a funnel to keep newbies out of advanced forums
Not bad , but please use toggles correctly. It's super confusing when you go to notification preferences, and a toggle is used to just display the options underneath, not actually toggle them on and off
App keeps closing when I try to open it. On the rare occasion the app actually notifies me when I click on the notification the app if it opens won't take me to the notifications. Love Biggerpockets but the app needs a lot of work.
I really love BP and am a Pro member but the app is such a disappointment. It crashes relentlessly and is frankly unusable. They should take a break from developing all the paid upgrade content and focus for a bit on getting a reliable application for their users. Will change rating when app becomes reliable.
I'm a big fan of biggerpockets. But the app doesnt function on my phone. Every time I try to open it it force closes on me. I've waited a few months to see if the problem resolves itself but it hasn't. I always have to use the site on a browser instead.
Have had the app for a while without using it. Went to open it today and it's just not opening. Uninstalled then reinstalled and still nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Ain't happening. Isn't working. Too bad because I love BP website. Was hoping to use this on the go, but alas no.
I love the content and the big network of real estate professionals that BP has, but the App keeps on stopping when starting. Even when I uninstalled and reinstalled, the issue continues.
Crashes and crashes and crashes. A truly terrible app. Completely unreliable. I have to frequently uninstall it and reinstall it. Needs work .
Paid for subscription but haven't received any magazines since dec/Jan 2022. Their logistics team is a night mare and customer service isn't helping. Can someone from bigger pockets please help??
App is nearly unusable in it's current state. crashes, broken search, unintuitive layout. you're better off just using your browser
It's not always successful; the app. BP is awesome but the app crashes frequently over WiFi and with data. I don't get to use it much. The app.
Scrolling down the posts they all dissappear. This has been going on since the revised app was released. They either can't fix it or don't care. Was told to use online instead of the app. That was the fix? No thanks. Shame on you biggerpockets.
App will not work on my Samsung Galaxy S9. It attempts to open but just closed. I have deleted and reinstalled app and cleared cache. Appears others are having this same issue.
I'm rating strictly based on my experience on the app...If I was rating Bigger Pockets itself, I would give it a 5 star, however the app is terrible. I can't navigate anywhere without the app "restarting itself". If you are looking for a great real estate education and networking resource you totally found it in Bigger Pockets, but I recommend using the website on a desktop or laptop, not the app. PLEASE FIX THIS BP SO I CAN ENJOY BP IN MY POCKET ON THE GO.
Was working fine until i upgraded, while signed in it told me i couldn't access anything. Signed out and tried to sign back in and it said account doesn't exist, emailed them and they were useless
Love the content, App is awful - After stumbling across BiggerPockets podcasts and website I was delighted to see they have a mobile app. While the content is still fantastic and the app is easily navigable, the operation of the app is horrible. Over 90% of the time when I open a notification it freezes right away; sometimes before I even load the notification. And when browsing and trying to post content, the app freezes about 40% of the time. This isn't acceptable for today's standards.
