BigSMS (Send Long SMS)

Please help I cant still send long sms. It looses my gsm signal andIt shows circle on my status bar after sending the first 160 char. And 160 character only received by the sms recepient... Im using s2 hd lte (shv120s) please help..

Was working fine with my Jellybean device but since I have upgreaded to HTC 820 which has kitkat, doesn't work good. Its stoping after I send the sms and does not send the complete sms also doesn't send to all recipients. I can't change the settings also once I do it in the beginning of installation. Not happy😞.

The UI could do with a little polish I have to admit. Functionality though - excellent, just excellent. No longer do I have to shrink my text messages, or use the > and < symbols, or risk being charged the extortionate rates my network imposes for MMS while having plenty of texts remaining.

I'm very happy with this app. It automatically solved my long text messaging issues on my Samsung Galaxy j7 phone. No more irritating automatic conversion of my SMS to MMS with my network provider waiting to charge me the extortionate rate for MMS. Nevertheless, the app will need to be improved on the delivery report function. Presently, it does not give the delivery report even though it was enabled on the setting options and on the sent message details on the phone it will indicate "delivery report not requested"

I love this app. It seems ridiculous to me that an OS as great and flexible and "open" as the Android platform, that a long text message that exceeds the equivalent of 4 or 5 messages gets converted to an MMS. This app enables messages to be combined into one long text and actually get SENT as a text rather than an MMS. It looks clean and simple, straightforward and clutter-free, and actually saves me money from sending as SMS rather than MMS (I'm on an unlimited texts tariff but MMS are still charged for)

I have a Samsung Mobile Note II and this application works very well on the phone to bypass those frustrating 160 character limits that the phone has before it converts the text message into an MMS messsage which on my call plan costs me 20p per MMS message when I'm already on an unlimited text message monthly plan! I am delighted with this application. Thanks very much!

I have installed it in my Samsung J2... And it doesn't work properly even it cannot work on 4 sms long message woth only 400 word count. Please help as i have seen it working on other mobile sets......

First of all, I would like to thank the developer for the efforts he made in improving the users' experience of sending texts using their Android devices, while enabling them to overcome the limitations of Android's stock messaging app. Before coming across this app, I tried many ways to overcome the SMS character length limitation in Android. I even used Sqlite Editor to modify the value of outgoing-sms-check field in the setting database but none wotked for me until this precious app appeared before me. As far as I have tested, I found out that the maximum pages one can send in a single submit would be 7 pages of Unicode characters (over my operator's carrier), which seems fair to me. The app also counts the number of characters and pages in the text area which adds to the quality of the whole thing. While quite touched by the app, I also would like to suggest a little face-lift and graphical tweaks in the UI. I strongly believe that a better user interface doubles the joy of working with this app.

Good app. It is working like a charm. But please correct this problem : Eventhough there is SMS delivery report option in the app, when I see the message details in the android default SMS app, it is showing "Delivery report : Not requested". when I see the delivery status directly via the android messaging app, I get the delivery report.

In samsunf note 4 this application is not working. It is cutting long sms in small pieces. I had note 3 earler and it was working fine in note 3 but not in note 4

Android 2.3.6 on a Samsung device. Can send large text messages, but they are still received by both iPhone and Droid users in chunks instead of one block. I have /received/ some large single-block txt msgs from iPhone users, so I know it can be done. The app does iterate my contact list, but I would like to see checkboxes at each contact so that I need make only one pass through it to send a group message, and I would like to see a way to save groups.

Can we please stop the split msgs on sending devices .. Person receives gets the text in one long text but the person sending gets it splitting into loads of different sections. Slightly irritating

Didnt work. Just kept saying error occured. Gave up after a few tries and am going to uninstall app now

Sms to mms conversion of long messages all over thanks to this small & functional application. Don't expect elaborate sms functions. It just does what it says. Comes handy once in awhile :)

I thought it would be the answer to my problem. Obviously it didn't work. Please make it work on my LG SU660

Who receives my messages.. Some people get my texts when I use this app but here lately no one gets them. Not sure what the issue is as there is no update to install. I've had this app for over a year and I'm just now having issues. What's the deal?

I hope developer can integrate importing contact groups instead of adding one by one. Since long it hasnt been included.

It didn't work for my phone and idk if it's because of the android type it is. So I can't really give a good review. Just need that to be fixed.

No use of this app,,it doesnt let u to make big sms,,it also has 160 character per sms

Great app & I can see this would work very well. Unfortunately using this app causes problems with Samsung's native SMS app, basically it won't send SMS without restarting my phone. Apparently this is a problem with Samsung's OS on KitKat. Due to this I have had to uninstall it :-(

It is a very good app. does what it is made for. i suggest you also add a template section. helps in sending long sms

Perfectly working in galaxy grand duos. Does not convert to MMS for very big message and do not ask for internet connection. Wow..

Uninstalling as it looks so horrible like stock message app. Would have used it otherwise as I want a large enough text box to see all of text I'm writing.

Its good but there are no multiple language so o given 4 star plzzz big sms team great job but plzzz add multiple laguage if possible :)

It does send long SMS. However it also breaks long message into 160 character blocks and sounds them as well too. Irritating.

This is a must have app for overcoming the poorest text messaging system of Andoid. This requires some brush up in GUI but excellent app.

A few suggestion: - Changeable theme. It would be perfect if you have the interface of stock messenger. - Auto fetch long messages from stock app to your app so when people go over limit in stock app, your app will take over.

I have used it before, on single sim phones, I recommend it, but I encountered a problem: I can't use it on my dual sim phone. For the developer, please address this issue.
