If you decide to follow this app's suggested journey take extra care on any unfamiliar sections. Proceed at your own risk as routes change and quality cannot be guaranteed. Dismount when routing suggests using footways as shortcuts. Do not use when driving a car: routing is bike-specific.TECH SPECRoute finding requires access to online mapping so, to use the journey planning, the Bike Hub app requires wifi or a mobile phone signal.CROWD-SOURCED DATAApp relies on the network node coding of the Cyclestreets chaps and they, in turn, rely on the dedicated volunteers who upload fixes and new points of interest to OpenStreetMap. Please consider signing up to OpenStreetMap.org and using a free OSM editing app such as Mapzen POI Collector which lets you add businesses, local amenities and other places of interest to OpenStreetMap, direct from your phone. Or consider becoming part of the OSM community by adding data via your desktop with online services such as mapzen.cloudmade.com.WHY FREE?This app is free because it was funded by the Bike Hub levy. This is a voluntary levy on most of the bicycles and bits sold in UK bike shops. The Bike Hub levy is operated by the Bicycle Association of GB and the Association of Cycle Traders. BikeHub.co.uk is the news and features website funded by the levy scheme. The Bike Hub app was commissioned by BikeHub.co.uk editor Carlton Reid and produced by Tinderhouse.FEEDBACKFeedback on this app is welcome. Contact [email protected] or @bikehub on Twitter. Has good routes esp in London but massive rapid battery drain and poor usability. If I've gone off route please don't ask me to stop and click buttons just recalculate! Tricky to entry source and destination too. Please quickly default to where I'm currently at.

Route planner and navigator with quiet / fast / balanced options overlayed on map of local and national cycle routes. Shows pubs, cafés, cycle shops, hire stations, railway stations, rain shelters, public buildings.

Love this app. Especially for the leasure route planning

It doesn't seem to recognise roads with cycle lanes. It expects cyclists to use pedestrian paths along the A3 or the hard should. It might be useful if this app could allow users to interact directly and perhaps more importantly indirectly with other users like waze.

This app appears only to work in pounds, shillings & pence. I'm in Finland at the moment, and I was unable to find any geodata at all to help me plan even a 5km loop ride. #brexitblues

Excellent app.. of the best out there once you get used to it which doesn't take long at all

Please, add search for Russian street names support. Now it can't find anything, the only way is to set destination by hand, which is very annoying. The rest looks promising

Great routes. Use all over London and makes journeys stress free compared to normal routes, as much quieter, even in central London.

Clean looking app but downloading of tiles not working. It just sits there saying downloading but nothing happens.

Hopeless. Won't register end destination no matter how much I try. Uninstalling and looking for a better app

Doesn't work in America

It keeps asking to confirm various actions while you're actually riding. Means you have to keep stopping, or risk falling off. Re-routing really needs to be automatic.

This is the best cycle route planner I've used for where I live in Edinburgh. I don't know why it's been marked down so much, there doesn't appear to be any bugs 🐛 on it now. All round it's a great app!

Can't use as screen obscured by red apart from central circle. Samsung galaxy tab s2 android 7.0

Very positive improvements compared to the old version I used to have on my old phone. I like that you can save routes, replan them according to the ride type (e.g fast, quiet), see nearby bike shops.

Just freezes, it doesn't seem to have gps navigating.. Just a black line I assume you follow.. No voices, limited settings..can't download maps, or it's taking years in the background, then freezes the screen. Not sure how I can quickly set London to Oxford, get on the bike and go.. Going to delete it and will come back in a month to try again..

All i get is a port hole view of where i live cant do anything else did work once a long long time ago

Looks ok but something is strange about how you manually select start and end points. You tap the map to enter route setting mode, and you can move the map around, but as soon as you let go, it sets the current position as the start point! If you move the map and let go again, it sets that as the end point! This means it limits the route to whatever you can see on the screen at that time. A bit silly. So that needs fixing.

I commute in London and needed a good route finder. It found me a lovely route into work but then suggested a way back via the highest hill in North London even though there is not even any good reason for in and out routes to be different... Goes comoletley useless when being used for more than route/address. Maps go blank, adresses don't get recognised etc. Shame! Sadly need to go to another app.

Brilliant route choices, using quiet routes in London, with voice directions. Takes a little getting used to, but totally confident by the 3rd ride.

Doesn't do anything on Acer netbook tablet so can't say if it's any good or not. White circle with read background means nothing.

Ste. P. May 13, 2017

I am trying to import .gpx files which the app claims can be done, but when I open a file it doesn't give the option to select bikehub, which the instructions claim you should be able to do.

Ste. D. Jan 28, 2017

Great app, but only 4 stars because it returns the same result everything you use the circular route option. And a bug where you choose 10/20/40/60 mile and it produces a route 10miles more

What's with the map inside a red circle. App unusable for me

Ric. F. Feb 24, 2017

Hard to plan when red circle outline obscures the map and options
