* A BANK PAYMENT APP

The BIL Digicash App is linked both to your phone number and your bank account(s). It meets banking-grade security standards; all payments are authorised with your Fingerprint or your PIN Code. You can set your security limits via BILnet according to your preferences (default: 2500 EUR). Payments are made using (SEPA) bank transfer (funds may only be available the next working day).

* QUICK ACTIVATION

To use the App right away, all you have to do is to link it to your bank account. Launch the App and you’ll be guided through the process.

* SEND, RECEIVE & REQUEST MONEY

BIL Digicash is by far the fastest way to transfer money between two people. Choose the recipient’s phone number from your address book, type in the amount, authorise the payment and a SMS/push message is sent to the recipient. If the recipient has already activated BIL Digicash, the operation is triggered immediately, and if not, a SMS message is send out inviting the recipient to subscribe. Once he/she has activated BIL Digicash, funds will be transferred into the recipient’s bank account.

Request money from any phone number: the most convenient way to get paid back by your friends, family or colleagues. Simply choose their phone number, type in the amount and they’ll get the request. You’ll receive a notification once they have made the requested payment.

* IN STORE PAYMENT WITH BEACONS

Truly contactless payments with the BIL Digicash Beacon: launch the BIL Digicash App, hold your phone close to the Beacon device at the cash-desk and the amount to pay is automatically displayed on your phone (some phone covers may affect signal quality). Validate the payment with your fingerprint/PIN Code. In selected shops (Auchan Luxembourg), you can even link your loyalty card and receive your bonus points/euros without any further action at each payment.

* BILL PAYMENT WITH QR CODES

The quickest way to pay the bills: launch the App, scan the BIL Digicash QR Code on the bill, confirm the payment and you’re done, typically in less than 10 seconds. It works with your insurance and energy bills, with your telecom and public sector/municipality invoices provided BIL Digicash payments are accepted.

Feel free to use it at BIL Digicash partner restaurants as well: just scan the QR Code on the bill. You may even add a tip and then just leave right away.

* PAYMENT IN OTHER APPS & IN ONLINE STORES

Buy your transportation tickets with the M-Ticket App, top up your kid’s Restopolis account or use BIL Digicash on selected web sites. No card or bank data is transferred and nobody else can use your BIL Digicash App as all payments are authorised via fingerprint/PIN Code.

I've been using this app since launch and it's previous variant "digicash". It used to be very convenient especially for sending money to friends or for payinf your bills via QR-code. Sadly, since a few weeks now the app app has shown some bugs as it wouldn't read QR-codes anymore. I hate tried to uninstall it an reinstl it again, which at first used to help. But now I'm unable to reconnect the app to my account. Neither Bil Helpline nor the people at Payconiq have been able to help sor far.

Great for sending money to friends and family but practically useless for paying in stores as it doesn't work with standard payment terminals (can't use it anywhere outside of Luxembourg) and is very slow and clunky (if you ever find a store that supports it). Please give us Google Pay instead.

Before my experience with this app was ok, but from 1 or 2 month ago, I have got the message like unexpected network error when I click the app, and so now I am not able to use this app. ; (

fingerprint login broken after update. even after going into settings, activating it - disables itself right away. was working fine previously

It doesn't work on my Italian number mobile - as I do not receive the activation code by sms. I contacted the Digicash Customer Service 7 months ago but no solution has been found until now.

Update..after a bad review I got a reply that it has been fixed..i reinstalled the app and now it works perfect...Great work BIL..appreciate it...I changed my review to 5 stars..

It used to work so fine, but since Sunday 6th December 2015, it has stopped working. It asks for BIL Logon, Userid, but freezes, so the keyboard does not come up, allowing to logon -> Totaly useless. I call BIL, and they confirmed it was a problem and will fix it. And then what, will they tell the user "It works again" ? Or should I keep, reinstall, install and then hope that it works again (some day) ps. It works on iPhone :-(
