BiliCalc

Designed by a pediatrician, BiliCalc uses the American Academy of Pediatrics 2004 "Management of Hyperbilirubinemia in Infants Greater than 35 Weeks of Age" to calculate the threshold for starting phototherapy based on the patient's age, bilirubin level, and neurotoxicity rk is. In addition, it will also tell you the patient's risk zone using the Bhutani Nomogram.
This program allows you to input the infant's age at time of lab or manually input both the birth date and hour as well as lab date and hour. The app has a direct link to source journal articles, nomograms, and a list of the neurotoxicity risk factors. Supports US and SI units (mg/dL and µmol/L).

Intended for use by pediatricians, neonatologists, physicians, medical students, and pediatric nurses who treat newborn infants in the hospital and as outpatients.

Great little app, much faster than going to bilitool and I love that it plots the value on both graphs for you in color, very easy to read! One suggestion I have: switch the red and green colors so below green it's low risk and above red it's high risk.

The legend below graph says green line is low risk but on the graph green line is on top indicating high risk. I'm confused.

A+. Only complaint is that the graphics/wording for entering values now overlap with the the values entered for calculation on Samsung s9+, making them difficult to read.

The age and levels are superimposing to where you are unable to read. Also threshold levels unable to be viewed. Please see if can be corrected. Re-installing did not work.

Very handy, shows many graphs, very accurate. Doesn't need internet connection to give results. Definitly worth the money.

I'm a pediatrics resident and use this often for over a year. Originally I used on iPhone, and now Android. It gets the job done, and links are right there from sources I trust. Thank you.

Its a great app, but pls add ET (exchange transfusion) level, its very crucial to our practices. Not to mention without ET level shown I still need to plot the paper chart. Then what is the point of opening this app?

This product is worth 1 dollar. I paid 5 dollars for another bilirubin software and it was not as good as this one. Thank you.

I like that it calculates the age. I have used another app that uses a scroll for the time and was a little quicker plotting the times. Great app

Extremely easy to use. All the info of bilitool or similar programs in a more accessible format. Highly recommended.
