No option to give one picture priority over another. Does not create a panorama in the first place if you minimize the app and open it again, despite what the notification may lead you to believe (I do not have battery saving measures active and the notification did not close). I suppose it could technically have performed worse.
Better than I expected! I did a side-by-side comparison with my S20+ native camera pano pic and the pano generated by this app from sequential pics I took of the same scene. Hands down this app gives me a higher quality pano, and you can especially tell when you zoom in. I wish I could post the pics here bc the difference is so drastic. Developer seems sassy to some reviewers, but tbh I agree with them. If you don't take properly aligned pics, don't expect a good stitch lol. Great app and fast!
Took perfect, aligned, top down pictures of laptop PCB. App could not stitch them together into a high-detail scan - artifacts everywhere. Lines aren't straight, there are fades and missing portions everywhere. Would not recommend this app.
Basic app with small ads on bottom of screen. The tool, however, works phenomenally for my needs. Let's me take very detailed images of a larger object and combines them all together in a seamless larger image.
I'm happily surprised by the results ! I just take regular pictures while turning around and the app does a great job of stitching them together. I use the resulting panoramic views created to show my friends and family the construction sites where I work. Now I'm going to buy the pro version 😀
Gets the job done. Absolutely great for a free app. Are there better packages available on you PC, yes. However this little app is great for getting the point across on social media or IM. Just note that the app can take up to 2-3min to render your final image, just be patient.
For me, the stitching was a few minutes learning curve, but it works and well. I'll need to learn the best way make each shot look like it belonged to ONE shot. BTW, the 3D goggle feature is very 😎.
First impression with this free app is EXCELLENT! Will be investing in the pro version. Took three 24 MP shots and rendered them well. Now have a 9000+ pixel horizontal pano. Now to get some better panorama rigs for the camera.
Work as expected as a photo stitching software. Good work. Possible, but difficult, improvement may be performing distortion correction for lens per mobile phone model.
Thank you for continuing to support and update your program for all this time. This is a solid app that does what it says on the tin. I've been amazed that with all of the open source stitching libraries that this is the only truly supported dedicated stitching app on Android that wasn't fully abandoned as more camera apps added pano capture. This is still useful to me with my pixel 6 pro even though I also have an old 360 camera. Keep it up, excited about the multicore optimization.
This app is exactly what I wanted! It does a great job not only stitching the pictures I give it but also decyphering what doesn't belong to that panorama in a timely manner. It's not perfect, but I can't expect it to be. Sometimes it has a problem (it's quite able but sometimes can't present exactly what you want), so it's good to have another program to compare individual panoramas and get what you want.
Needs better recognition of areas that do not perfectly overlap. Patterns are painfully out of place. but otherwise a good app, and will definitely impress you if you need a few photos stitched together. Response: "arrived at that" after trying your app.. messed with the settings a bit but if out of the box (which what i hope comes with the optimal settings as default) there are obvious mulit exposure esque non overlapping patterns then it can be improved. Work to fix flaws not dismiss them.
This app makes a good panorama from a group of photos. I am really impressed by what it does not do. 1. It does not require use of in-app camera. It accepts photos from any source (Yes, it has in-app camera). 2. It does not push a new photo viewer or interfere with other photo apps. 3. It does not steal. It's not mining accidental taps. Ads are displayed, but they good quality. Fetching ads data can delay stitching especially on a remote hiking trail. Seriously good panos. I bought Pro.
Pros and Cons: 1. Best images stitching app for Android. 2. comparatively Fast and accurate. 3. Excellent for 360 images. CONS: 1. Gets Extremely slow with more than 10 images. 2. 4-5 image Panorama looks bad with fish eye effects in every image. (I dislike this thing very much) 3. pics from DSLR lose its resolution. Overall a Good app for Android and fast result where we can't bring a Laptop always.
For a free app this is remarkable. I threw challenging images and it did better than expected. Results vary based on the quality of your images. If you shoot equally exposed overlapping images on perspective it does well. If you do way off-kilter pictures don't expect miracles. I suspect 1 star reviews are lazy people who didn't read descriptions or follow directions. It's great this gives a preview, displays in VR and saves to an obvious path. Well done, and pro version reasonably priced.
Did two beautiful panoramic stitches of 11 photos, one 3D, one just a panoramic view. Unfortunately, the panoramic view was very thin and wide on my phone. I'd like to be able to make it bigger somewhere so I could see it. I couldn't even turn it sideways so it stretched the long way on the phone. I suppose these are in the pro version?
Good stitcher. Compared to other photo stitchers, it finds more & better similarities in pictures and joins them well. The flip side of this is Photos can come out wavy and distorted. Perhaps needs an adjuster to calm this down? Good thing is almost unlimited size of output image. Would be good to choose new photos while creating the Stitch (deselect photos or add extra ones in) The 'picker' interface for finding pictures is clunky and doesn't remember your last place.
👍 good one, update 01.06.19 it's actually so good that I've just purchased full version. It stitching photos so well that if they done correctly you won't notice difference. free one doesn't have a lot of advertisement, only every few stitchings you need to click advertised link. I do mine vertically with a lot of sequential photos. for 360 view about 10 to 16 it more.
It isn't that smart. I had three sequential photos taken. It managed to stitch two of them but never could figure out how to stitch the third. All three overlapped so it wasn't impossible. Worse, there isn't a manual function whereby I could just select the photos and line them up myself. Weird limitation and so so AI.
Very impressive app. Simple design and very easy to use. Ads only at bottom, not annoying at all. So far, didn't even notice any watermarks either. Thanks for creating. I have shot thousands of VR photos using traditional digital camera, and after a few tries... I was get way better than expected results... Way better!
Great job at stitching my photos, much better than the panorama function in my phone. Had some problems with the app but followed the developer's advice and everything was ok. There could be some improvements with blending the edges of each photo better, I can still see exposure differences. But very pleasing results.
if you want perfect panomas, this app works great, you just snap a a few pictures of the area you want to create a panorama for, and the app stitches them together perfectly, even going so far as to be able to create a 360 degree view of the area you are photographing. and it doesn't just work with your cell phone, I've taken my DSLR camera and imported those pictures via Wi-Fi to my cell phone add it does the same thing. Highly worth purchasing the pro version.
Really really low res output- used clear, good resolution photos of text on a background and produced a blurry stitch. Where's the ability to crop top and bottom of images? Just stitches them together and you don't choose where. Can't tell if there's option to change vertical or panorama stitching or just relies on auto-detect. Really not adjustable to user needs.
Been using this app for years. I'm so impressed. You need to think about your photos when you take them to make it easy for the software to bring them together. Keep your height steady, swivel on the spot and give the photos plenty of overlap. It's never let me down if you keep these rules. Again I used to have to do this in Photoshop, to think I can do it on my phone is amazing. Well done to the developer
Not bad, 2 negatives: The stitched output is not as sharp as the originals that were stitched up. Would like to see an option to save as a png file and a user jpg quality threshold setting. Hmmm, reading the pro version, seems to have what I'm looking for. I'll think on it...
EDIT: Have found this issue that led to the empty outputs - I only have 1.5GB RAM, but I'd set it to 100MPx. Other than that, this app blends photos beautifully. Is quite slow, but not bad, and the ad frequency is completely acceptable bearing in mind it's a free app. Best one out there!
Don't know what's wrong, it tells me to select the pictures I want to stitch together, and keeps saying no panorama found? I've tried all 3 methods of selecting pictures and choosing where I want the file to go. It goes through the motions of uploading/stitching/etc... just to give me a blank screen. Oh well. 5/18/2022 Edit: changed to 3 stars, didn't work for me but app developer tried to help. Thank you.
