Great to be able to have this capability on the phone. 5 stars, but please add rectilinear projection -- useful indoors, when there are buildings, or for more dramatic effect with moderate FOV panos. Was hoping pro would have that but not. Some other projections (fisheye, panini) also useful at times. With more projections, would be 10 stars. EDIT: Thanks for pointing out planar.

Work best with only one row of photos. Unforgiving if your alignment is off with multiple rows - but placement of cameras on a phone make this difficult to avoid and thus the problems with parallax. Your phone camera app likely does one row by video frames together. That said, other than Google's old camera app that could switch a bunch of photos into a sphere, this may be the best available Android app, but I might transfer photos to my laptop so I can just use what I have available there.

GREAT SOFTWARE! Get it. Best image merge software I've ever used. The app works by using on-device machine intelligence which automatically recognizes & merges multiple overlapping photos into awesome panoramas w/ unmatched quality. Great job Bopa - 10 stars from me. ADVICE for users (based on the way I use apps) do a little prep work on your photos first. Straighten them up, get your aspect ratio a little more correct (there are multiple apps that let you rotate by degrees and correct aspect)

I've used it a few times and am looking forward to more, very happy with the results! I believe I have found the great replacement for Photosynth! Worth the money, folks! Support the developer, especially if you've been looking for a new Photosynth.

I opted to separate my post production tasks so they could be done on a tablet. This app's logic for sticking together pics is as good, if not better, than the one offered in Adobe products.

Purchased this app in hopes of stitching closeup images of Circuit Boards together to create a flat image. Not much luck yet, maybe there are special settings I need to adjust?

Paid 4 bucks, not bad. First two attempts, stitching in one was terrible, second one was pretty good. Wish there was a way to know how to get better results. Also can't figure out how to download the stitched panoramas - right now I can only view them in the app. EDIT: A developer reached out to me, and I did indeed find my stitched photos in my camera gallery after all - thanks for the tip! They also warned that I should select photos with a lot of overlap for best results, and perhaps adjust the lighting to match first. I want to show you the example of the panorama that went wrong, but apparently I can't post pictures here. Basically, it appears there's TOO MUCH overlap - the tree in the middle is doubled on one side, as if it was vibrating. If I could edit the photos on my computer first, perhaps I could avoid this kind of problem, but I think I can only use this on my phone, with very limited controls.

The updates did the trick! Now it does a great job! Those with issues, just set your camera in pro or manual with manual focus, manual white balance, etc. so that all images are consistent with each other. I'm producing incredible pictures that way! If you do automatic and point at green grass then the sky, your can be sure the exposure and everything else will come out very different!

I'm a photographer and I have been using this app since it was a free app without ads. Back then, I had suggestions for improvements since I was coming from a discontinued panorama stitching app. The developer was very responsive and I'm very happy some ideas got implemented. I had also suggested monetizing the app because it's a very good one for mobile stitching. It is a good, no-frills app to get an idea of what a panorama would turn out like. I'm more than happy to pay for it!

The best best. From far. Change my mind. It can make panorama up to 360. It can do it in any direction, just avoid the parallax and try to keep as much as u can your lens in the same place in space. To avoid brightness differences in the panorama, when you take your photos: tap on your screen (like to focus/take a shoot) and hold until if shows "AE and AF locked". You should now have the same parameters for every next shoot. This app is really amazing and I succeeded to produce up to 70mpx pano

[2021] Still using this regularly to turn video pans into panorama pictures. Works well with most scenes. Too much flat sameness (sea shore) will confuse it. Even works with videos from my point and shoot camera. Original review [2019]: Happy with it so far. I was specifically looking for a video to panorama tool. Videos taken from one spot with a pivot motion seem to work well. Videos created by moving the camera like a dolly shot in a movie not as so nicely. I hope to test this out more soon.

Almost all the time it does exceptionally. There are a few weird times it gets confused. Making a panorama from a video (paid addition) is great but don't move too quickly. I've even stitched a series of screenshots together (crop prior to remove the footers and headers of the screen.) I've stitched together panoramas getting to more 3d effects.

This app fills a gap in the android camera app. Being able to generate from video is a lovely feature. Being able to turn photos into a 3d model afterwards is a nice feature. I got it primarily because I wished to stitch telephoto camera images together which the default android app won't do. It is not as clean in stitching as the android app that comes with the Pixel 4 unless you're careful, but it does a great job of working out which image goes where. Preview prior to render is a great.

Very good, but doesn't always work. I'm mainly stitching aerial panoramas shot with a DJI Mini 2, which automatically shoots a series of 26 photos for a 360 degree panorama. At home I use PtGui on a fairly powerful Windows PC which has a 99%+ success rate with these. I'm working away in Lanzarote and using a Samsung tablet and have found that Bimostitch seems to work well in a town environment but often produces a distorted square image in the countryside.

Great pano stitcher app! use in combination with "A Better Camera App" in HDR mode for the best results! Tip: ALWAYS rotate around the lens, DON'T rotate YOUR entire device around your body or nothing will line up and the final composite image will render with a lot of artifacts if it even detects any overlap at all. This is the most common mistake that people new to panoramas make. This combination reminds me of the Hugin Panorama Creator I used to use in Linux, but much more automated!

Pop. M. Mar 1, 2020

The free version kind of worked. Not great but useable. The pro version, has extra functions like making a pano from a video. The developer was very quick to get back to me to resolve some issues, which I appreciate. Still working on getting certain images made, but I am hopeful.

Oli. S. Nov 28, 2021

Not possible to delete panoramas in the application. Not possible to get rid of panoramas made. HOPLESS application. NOT recommended! Thank you for your quick answer. I wouldn't have posted if it worked properly. So time to take me seriously 😎 when I say it's not possible to delete by long pressing in the application! Houston we have a problem πŸ€“ And by the way, have been using the application for a long time. And there is a fine line between its greatness and weaknesses apparently.

Kir. N. Jul 20, 2021

I'm writing review with only 3stars but will update if my issue gets resolved. I used to love this app. But all of a sudden it will load the images match them show me a preview about half of the time. Then it processes about half of the images and freezes and will stay stuck in the processing stage for days if i don't close the app manually. I have not been able to complete a finished panoramic photo in months! Please help. Using bimostitch pro on Samsung note 10 plus. Thanks in advance

I used to use this app (free) as my primary stitcher and it never let me down. Would happily update my review to the five stars it deserved but... decided to buy it today and it won't stitch a few photos of the horizon/sunset... Fails. What gives? Update: "No panorama(s) detected" was the error. Only issue was with those sunset photos... likely not enough overlap and too much glare/AE not locked when I took the photos. Works perfectly with every other image set. I'll chalk it up to user error

Complete garbage application, the majority of the time it can't find a panorama in the image set, even though there are excellent matches frame to frame. Haven't been able to get a panorama from any video. I've had 6 year old phones that can do the job that this app can't seem to pull off. Waste of money!

War. G. Feb 19, 2020

It's better but still misstiches horizontal objects in the forground, it didn't do this before 20/02/20, not working as good as it did, obvious joins in the middle of photos. Please get it back to where it was. really good app, just purchased the pro version, works well with minimal fuss.

Oli. K. Aug 21, 2020

Free version does a better job at stitching than the paid version. I paid for the app to get color correction and same-as-source final image quality, but now the stitching is garbage because the specific setting that worked with my photos is removed in favor of an advanced feature which doesn't work.

Dom. A. Oct 4, 2018

Tried them all, this is the best by far. Could benefit from performance improvements. 4 images with ~12mp may take up to 10 minutes on a 2017 high end smartphone (Mate 9). Blending could also be improved for water scenes, often resulting in hard edges, but other apps like Snapseed work well to fix these spots later on

Works and creates beautiful results, needed to reduce output size in settings to stop crashes. Thanks for app and support.

Al. R. Jul 8, 2019

The app was so good that I felt the need to support the developer and purchase the app as a thanks for their hard work. Update: I have now changed the rating of this app to 1 star as the free version does a better job at removing seams. The settings options are different for Pro and for free versions, so the code is not the same. Seam blend option 'best' is missing from this version. Disappointing. Why can't the paid app be updated? I have emailed you with examples side by side

This software does a great job on stitching photos. I had 12 pictures of a double rainbow, and it threaded them together very well and it looks very natural. Thanks for some fine software. The last software that was this well done was Google's Picasa, which they took off the playstore and no longer support.

Tre. L. Jun 17, 2021

What happened? Did I get a bunk update. Everything was good the blending, the whiteness adjustments, barely any lens corrections where needed now it's all gone to hell in a hand basket. Now when I'm rendering a photo of 21 pics the render is cut off and only a third of the top row is visible. The rest is cut off? Any ideas? I've tried different stitches different rendering settings with no resolve? I meant a cylindrical cup to each individual picture. I have it set to auto for rendering style.

This app takes a difficult process and makes it simple and straightforward. I get great results with minimal effort🀠

Mik. G. Sep 16, 2021

Cannot praise the app or the developer enough. It was really good but since the last Samsung/Android software update it has been prevented from doing what it used to. The developer was extremely helpful in trying to find a solution but it wasn't easy. With the 16 Sept update however, the issues have now been fixed. Cannot fault the Developer. πŸ‘πŸ‘βββββ
