Binaural Beats Relaxation - Brain Waver

A wonderful app to relax with. Its calmed me down on many occasions. Makes your whole head feel a little funny once it turns off, but thats no bad thing. I very rarely find an app that I am willing to pay for, but this was one of them. I'm not quite sure why the name change on the update, but with the addition of a large number more presets and background sounds, I've got no complaint about that! The preset functions in the advanced generator where the app allows you to move 'down' to the target frequency and the draws you back 'up' to your normal brainstate are worth the fee on their own I have one slight issue with it, in the Gravity Hum background audio which is almost completely perfect white noise for my needs. It has an echoy thudding sound partway through its loop that is jarring and offputting

I have been using this app for several months for my meditations and truly love it. Easy to manually make adjustments and change settings to create the precise effect you want. Options for background sounds as well. Well designed app and easy to use. My suggestion is to Google "binaural beats" just to become more knowledgeable about brain entrainment and the various wave effects (delta, theta, etc.), then return to the app to enter whatever parameters match your needs.

Simple, clean, and effective binaural beats generator, which was exactly what I was looking for. If you already know what frequencies you want, this does the job well. The free version is perfectly usable for a single frequency, with only a small banner ad. I bought the upgrade, which adds the useful sliding frequency feature. It'd be nice if more features were added; I'd especially like having a different isochronic tone for each ear.

Wow. I love how this app not only has deep configurations and adjustability, yet it is also informational and instructional. There are presets, as well as the option to add your own background music. But what there's more! You can play multiple waves at the same time! I'm a beginner at this, but looking forward to experimenting with this for weeks to come.

wow, great app!!.. I'm not an expert in sound frequencies, but from the technical point of view this app is well made.. the advanced generator takes some time of practice to wrap your head around it, but the result is excellent and at low frequencies I can feel the sound waves affecting my brain (and thus my thoughts, feelings, spirit, body...)

Best binaural beats app. Takes a little to understand the settings. But 2 mins of playing with it and it's easy. Way better than all of the others that don't let you personalise settings. Would be good to have a few extra presets and a bit more explanation of the existing presets. Thanks for building it!

My new favorite binaural beats app! The free version gives you one tone generator, allowing you to set a timer and hear one frequency along with a decent variety of background sounds. Going premium gives you another tone generator that allows you to ramp from one frequency to another, hold there, then ramp back to the first one if you want. You can use both tone generators at the same time. I subtracted one star just because I'd prefer a dark, mostly black visual theme.

Being able to not only select the particular beat and hertz is the beauty of selecting or setting the length/timing for a session. So if you only have 5 minutes, you can adjust accordingly. Every other app has preselected running times, so one has to "interrupt" the session if you cannot or dont have the presellected session time. This is brilliant select your beats, session length with confidence, trust and peace of mind, so much better for total relaxation, confidence and achieve success

Excellent app! Been using it for several months, and found real sleep improvement. I am a musician with perfect pitch, so it would be more relaxing if the pitch center could adjust to tenths of hertz to corresond to musical note pitches. Also, the background sounds are limited. Could you add womb sounds with heart rate adjustment? That and some more water sounds would be perfection.Thanks for a great app.

I have found it excellent for improving sleeping and relaxation, along with mindfulness and relaxation music. Takes a little study to get the best out if it, even the presets but worth it. Very practical layout. Could be more visually pleasing but that wouldn't change its excellent function. Great that it can be played under other audio.

I've been using this app for a while now, it's the best I've found for pure binaural beats and the option for background music is great. The presets are very helpful, especially as you can add your own. I think it would be useful to add which one is currently playing on the main screen though. Other than that, 5☆

CAUTION: presets are overwritten, currently no duplicate/edit/share features. Binaural controls are solid. The app has excellent contextual information. Overall audio management features could be improved by adding eg left/right balance, fade, reverb, bass/mid/treble volume, etc. You can play the tones over (at least some) other applications, too (I only tested this with Music Player Go). --- For the developer, a question...would you consider putting the app on the F-Droid app platform?

I waded through a bundle of BB apps - this one takes the cake as it is clear, fully featured (including optional ramping), yet simple to work. And it's free without ads. Thanks dev! One nice addition might be a handful of theme colour options :o) Incidentally if you want to play background music from Spotify or whatever, using an EQ app such as Eqfy is very handy for adding independent gain control for the audio mix.

Great app. Basic interface but highly tweakable to get the frequency, binaural etc you want. ONLY way I can see it improving is with being able to layer more background audio simultaniously and have a better selection of natural samples. That would just be a cherry on the top though - great app.

I like this app. It's easy to use and it has a section to help you better understand binaural beats. However, you cannot exit the app or turn the phone screen off while using it or the music stops. Until that feature is added, I'm leaving the rating at 4 stars.

Works well, you have to experiment with it. Everyone has different neurologiy so for one type of frequency / beat - the Neuro harmonics in the Brain can do some interesting things! Oh and I am not into ghosts or whatever..but put that last preset on and with the rain I swear I can hear subtle, mumbaled voices. i know! Crazy. I almost think its interference. I wonder if any body else is pick up on anything? Thanks.

Great app, they have preset frequencies and you can customize each sound to your liking. Use with headphones for max effect, earbuds will work but it's not the same in my experience. I discovered binaural beats 6 years ago and as they have become more popular the quality has begun to suffer. All these YouTube pages and apps where they layer different musicals instruments, nature sounds and all this fluff that bury the binaurals. Thank you for making this simple & effective app.

The Biaural Beats Therapy app has features not found in other brain wave entrainment apps. The user can set the base tone frequency and the beat frequency. Volume and session duration are user selectable, as well optional background audio and a number of useful presets. Great little app! I like it so much I bought it!

Perfectly done and incredibly useful tool. Binaural beats are highly underrated and underutilized. It's crazy to think something this powerful and potentially life-changing is in a phone app. You can either meditate and train for a decade or two (which you should still do anyway) to get into theta orrrrrrrr just use this app. 😂 Thank you for making this, I use it daily.

I wanted to ask if there is a way to add custom background sounds? I want to add affirmations and maybe subliminals without having to use another app. Also support for darkmode (especially AMOLED black) would be perfect as I and probably many others use this app during the night while sleeping. Love the app, paid for advanced generator then decided to remove ads also.

I've used several of these programs but this one seems to just work. Its simple and with setting of 66hz 4.6 hz center and the warp sound over top it sounds almost exactly like flying in a large plane..I used to only use rain and thunderstorms over top but this warp keeps me using this most..Good job. One last tip remember to try to keep around 65db or below if the volume is above you lose the intended effect..I cant measure the volume but use a meter app to get close.. B~

App no longer works in background. This app used to work fine in background while running other apps. Now it stops if its minimized or if any attempt to change screens is made. Especially frustrating since no other changes have been made to any phone settings.

Easily WOULD'VE given 5, and HAVE IN THE PAST given 5 Stars (and where IS my previous rating review, anyway?) and had liked it so much before, I'd bought the paid version so I could both use the Advanced AND the regular version (it says how to do it, and is VERY easy & cool!) together. Well, imagine my DISAPPOINTMENT when, after reinstalling it, I was NOT ALLOWED TO use both. Okay, I guess I will be using something else. Nothing on my end changed, so recognition should've been instantly applied.

I use this almost every night !! The UI is very easy to use as I used to be a Sound Engineer and understand about frequency modulation and how it can be used for a myriad of purposes. I like how I am in control of what I I want to hear. It's very soothing and I have been getting much better sleep than I have in quite some time. As a matter of fact I am using it now to unwind and get down to the realm of sleep. I would love it even more if you can add more presets to use. I highly recommend it !

Tried this app after months of insomnia and interrupted sleep. Slept so good the first few tries, woke up in the exact position I feel asleep in, and woke up feeling really refreshed. The preset for monaural Sleep Rhythm with background beat Binary Orbit is the one I've been using. Works like a charm!

I love this app. Small question though, what is the likelihood of adding presets specifically for reiki healing? I would love to see this feature added even though I know it is a little outside the norm. I can adjust the settings to hit some of these by myself, but it is rather time-consuming and sometimes becomes more of a guessing game.

Most apps stress me out. This one is both fun and incredible for some reason the beats seem to effect me positively even without headphones.. alot better than YouTube for some reason. Maybe cos I can customise it to me. I need to get some headphones for the full experience. X
