Bing places for business

The app is good, what is missing (in general) is the support of more advanced analytics and reporting that are available on Google. For instance, a more accurate comparison of views with competitors, detailed photo views data and where people search from. Not only this will make the service better, but chances are that more people will consider advertising (I would).

The best user experience for agencies and multi-location businesses. The app is organized, clean and un-cluttered, and responds quickly during on-the-go edits. The verification process is amazingly smooth and keeps the clients well-informed. Unlike Google, Bing Places for Business understands the day-to-day role of the agency or marketing professional, which makes my day a whole lot easier. There are no gimmicks, and they don't try to sell ads and products to your clients. Microsoft nailed it.

Nothing in the app seems to work. 2 months after the outbreak Bing finally releases email telling me of special new features and I should go update my page due to Covid-19. However when you go in the app there is no mention of any special notices like described in the email. You can't contact support. Seems like the only thing you can do is view your listing and make some minor edits. You can't contact support even though there's a link. You just see a spinning wheel and never get connected.

Can't get the app to verify. I have attempted several times to have the app send a verification code both voice, and text,....nothing. Then attempted to sync with Google My Business.... again nothing. Decided to go good old snail mail. The page suggested to download the app in my phone to save time, well again nothing. I give up!

Easy app to use, they are kinda pushy to buy something and everything cost almost. To put your logo on there it's a dollar or so a day. To add a symbol saying your business is veteran owned and operated cost money. I just don't agree with all that. People like myself that served there country can't get a symbol for free to say I'm a veteran and I own and operate my business. I served 12yrs in the Marines for my country and the people who make this country great and can't have that label showing

This is a very problematic app and console. Out of all the similar apps for business Bing is the worst. My information gets deleted constantly due to ongoing maintenance and I have to enter it all in again while losing the SEO for my business that I worked hard for. When I search for my company with a keyword that use to direct customers to my business it doesn't work anymore. Not only that but the staff at Bing are not knowledgeable about their app. No end in sight. Just problems constantly.

Incredibly intuitive experience. There can be load issues, but I have yet to experience the same issues I run into with the Google My Business mobile app. Never thought I would say this, but Bing seems to be more user-friendly than Google!

This is the slowest app I have used since 2009. It crashes. It freezes. it doesn't work well. Google my business is leagues ahead and for such a large company, I expected far better

So far the app is useless. Setup a business but their verification email function is not working so I have to wait for USPS. Not a big deal accept when you exit and go back to verify all information entered is gone. The app doesn't save anything that is not verified I guess. Waste of my time this morning.

The app doesn't compare favorably with, for example, Google's My Business app. There is no way to simply add pictures or create general posts. It has a very minimal set of features. Please Bing (Microsoft) make this better!

As far as I can tell this is just a photo uploader for bing places, but can't even view them, or change default. Maybe additional functionality is on its way, but for now it's fairly pointless.

Not a very useful app as almost any meaningful task requires you to use your browser. Meanwhile, some of the same tasks can be done within the Google app without leaving the app. Unfortunately, I'll be deleting this app and just manage my Bing places content directly from the website usomg my computer.

Bing Rewards sent me here to install this app for a few points, but it basically seems useless. Using chrome on my phone with the Bing Places works better. But why does it always start up in Chinese? Is this project not based in Microsoft's US facilities? Uninstalling... Recommend same or just don't.

I like Bing places overall, but I'm confused about the high rating. Extremely limited functionality, and many of the links in the app take you into an in-app web browser which then proceeds to... recommend that you install the app!

Too limited and likely broken It offers only the most minimal options to manage the listing. Additionally, the website keeps asking me to pinpoint my business location each time I open it. It all just feels dead and broken. Little use to keep this on my phone.

I do appreciate this app and wish I could have gave it a better review unfortunately it is not very clear and hot on how well it performs and editing and updating and things of that nature are not the easiest I would strongly recommend taking a peek at what Google did with the my business app it's pretty impressive the easier it is for the user the better the app will be

Pathetic service, listing on bing place takes enternity. Instead try my Google business it's fast easy and prompt, I requested listing my business on Bing and Google together, Google listing is up for a week now whereas the bing listing is yet to be published. Very disappointing, I finally gave up and uninstalled bing, it doesn't even deserve a single star. I recommend everyone not to use bing to list there business and do not install this app it's useless and waste of your time.

Very unfriendly verification process. Spent lots of my time to get my business be verified by Bing but their software is not able to call my business phone with an extension (it did not work with our phone system, I tried it 4 times). I tried to download their app using my Cell and still I face a loop in the process. I wonder how a business owner can trust a company that cannot take care of its own business with a user friendly process of business verification?

ok, but I cant find a place to add temporary store hours for holidays and other special days. A lot of the buttons you click on to edit just send you to a web browser to bing places instead of being all done in app.

Slick app, pretty much the same as Google My Business app. The one great advantage Bing has, is it's ability to verify your business via phone/location in just 1-2 days VS Googles verification limits you to the standard 5-7 business days by recieving snail mail postcard in the mail...which, now that I think of it, even though snail mail takes longer, it certainly weeds out the false businesses who exploit the marketing in the first place, therefore forcing legit businesses with a higher standard.

App is User-Friendly & Super Convenient. It just Makes Sense. It gives you the option to have the system call your company on its business line for verification. Thank you Bing for employing modern technology that works "with the times"!

it's ok. it does the job - no frills. not as good as the Google counterpart but not bad. doesnt have an option that I can find to only list the city of a business which is a pain.

Nothing synced from my Google, there is nothing on my bing business page to like, no photos, nothing, just boring basic info, and the app keeps freezing when I attempt to edit my details. Nice try ... deleting

I wish there was a tab in the app to add photos to your being ad. Please updated so it's easier for businesses to add photos to their being advertising. Thank you in advance

Found it extremely intuitive to navigate and experieced no errors, apart from operator error, while editing my business profile. I have been a Bing Ad subscriber for over two years.

Why Bingplaces is providing "Manage this business" in web. Why Microsoft is totally following google where they have least security. I found many of the businesses are complaining that their address has been stolen. If the business owner is creating profile in Bingplaces then they can manage their profile by login to their profile id. They have worst suggest an edit system where they are uploading any website. Why there's no option to stop showing "manage this business " who doesn't want to show or let other Manage their business. Worst Service.

Like this better than fake google my business app . one more thing can you fix one thing that it can send you a vertification through email i check my spam folder and ever where else and it never went through that all needs to be fix.

User friendly interface. Helps me keep my business listing up to date. Uploaded latest photos. Tracking listing performance is a great feature.

Unable to turn pictures. Extremely difficult to use. Continues to ask me to verify. I run a business and do not have time for such mess. Wish we didn't start using it.

Will not display the correct opening times for my business even though they are set in the app correctly and it claims these details are published, finally published after 6 weeks. Can't delete old data either through the app.
