Bird Calls, Sounds & Ringtones
This app is both fun and educational, because you can learn how to discern the sounds of each kind of bird. Set some of them as a ringtone, notification sound or alarm and you will never bother yourself with the irritating sounds you already have in your mobile phone.
Bird vocalization includes both bird calls and bird songs. In non-technical use, bird songs are the bird sounds that are melodious to the human ear.
The distinction between songs and calls is based upon complexity, length, and context. Songs are longer and more complex and are associated with courtship and mating, while calls tend to serve such functions as alarms or keeping members of a flock in contact. Bird song is best developed in the order Passeriformes. Most songs are emitted by male rather than female birds. Song is usually delivered from prominent perches, although some species may sing when flying.

There is a total of 43 bird sounds. If you are more interested in songbirds, you can then always choose the one that fits you best such as kookaburra, skylark, blue jay and warbler. And of course, who can resist the beautiful singing birds such as nightingales, cardinals and sparrows.
There are also the sounds of predatory birds the most famous of which are owls, hawks, eagles, falcons and buzzards.
If you are more of the exotic side, then your best choice would be peacock, parrot, canary and budgies.
If you do not have all your ducks in a row and you are not satisfied with anything from the above, you can always choose flamingo, or around-the-globe famous pigeon.

Notes:=====
1. "Set as Alarm" command will not affect existing alarms, only the new ones you create. You can delete existing alarm and create new one.
2. To set widget: Long click on your home screen > Add widget > Choose Bird Calls, Sounds & Ringtones from the list > Pick a sound.

I've been enjoying this app very much. Mostly, I've assigned ringtones to contacts. I love listening to the bird sounds. I can't see anywhere in the app or in my contacts which ringtones have been assigned to who, so I've created a personal list I can refer to. There's a nice variety of sounds, which are arranged alphabetically. Shorter sounds repeat until the call is answered. It's a very nice app. There are some lovely wallpapers as well. The ads are unobtrusive. I hardly notice them at all.
maybe I'm tech ignorant, but does this app really need access to modify system settings in order to be set as a text notification? it doesn't need that sort of control to be a ringtone... I've never been asked that for a notification sound app before (also, i don't download many sounds apps either). however, the calls are clear and beautiful, and i have set quite a few contact ringers up. :)

If you don't have the name of the bird you can't identify the sound/call you heard. Useless for me. Uninstalling
Unfortunately on my Wiko Ufeel Lite I have not been able to use it. I wanted an alarm with birds. I select it but it never plays the right song, it goes back to one of the standard the phone had when I bought it. Too bad because the selection is great and sound quality as well. Necessary that I add this: Just tried with a different app and the same thing happens, so it must be something not working properly on my phone, not on this app.
Setting my alerts and ringtones to bird calls changed my life for the better.

I'm not much at knowing all birds chirping and calling but the lengthy list of different birds in this list is great and if you try enough these are relaxing. Full marks for the long list of which there are also a great list of wallpapers, overall if you don't mind a few ads and they don't cause any issues.
It's not clear how yo download the additional bird calls. First I scrolled to the bottom and selected the option to do that. it wanted me to watch an ad first, so I did. After that, I can see a bar at the bottom that says something about downloading more, but short pressing or long pressing does nothing.

I like the sampling of bird calls. It is limited in its offerings, but is better than a zero alternative...I did find the number of in-program ads disconcerting, especially when trying to download a bird call ringtone & an in-program ad kept popping up instead, making it unfeasible to download the bird call ringtone at that time. Frustrating to the max! Egad.
Example: Chickadee. It doesn't play their singing, just the chatter noises they make.
Very simple easy to use. Nice clear realistic sounds like you are actually in the woods hearing real bird sounds. Awsome ring tone alert tone etc. To try something different for a while you will not be disapointed in the quality of this free app and the ease of using. Without being bombarded with ads 5 stars from me. Excellent app !!!!!
Most stressful experience with an app I've ever had. The sounds are nice but there's no way to actually make them alarm or ring tones. Any time I'd hit the button in the app to set as a tone or an alarm, it would never actually be on my phone. Makes the app pretty much useless to me
Just what I was looking for. Birds the word. Now my contacts will get there own bird.
Fun to hear the ringtones. I set mine to the crows. Then I was laying in bed watching a movie when they started crowing. I thought that's weird, why did they add crows to the movie.😆 I'm changing it to the peacocks. Hopefully I will realize it's my ringtone when they start squalking.🦚
Big Bird! Bird Calls accurately plays sounds that mimic the appropriate birds. You have no idea just how many "bird sounds" that are available for mobile phones that DO NOT pay attention to small details such as associating the call of a Great Horned Qwl with a bird such as a mockingbird!! I am serious. To identify a bird by its call, the sound MUST BE accurate!! Bird Calls is the app that all aspire to be. IMHO, Bird Calls does the work needed to do the job right on the first attempt.
I love my Sandhill crane alarm, and my warbler ringtone.
It's great, cause if your somewhere that you can't hear any real birds singing, then this app is great. Or if you wish to be a proper bird watcher, its a great way to learn from listening over & over again. So yeah, I think this App would work very well, for anybody who enjoys listening to Chorus of Our Birds. Think I'll be using this App rather alot, especially if I have a different sound for each family/friends contacts. May get confusing but I'll try. So good luck to whoever has a go.
Cannot set a Contact Ringtones for some unknown reason. Pressing Set for Contact Ringtone and then pressing a contact returns to the bird call detail page with an ad that may be hiding a Save option? Pressing the Close on that ad returns you to the bird call detail page showing that the Contact Ringtone was not set. This was attempted with the same result after reinstalling, allowing ALL permissions, and starting from scratch. Using Google Pixel 4. This app worked on the Google Pixel 2.
So far the bird songs are recorded in real life settings. But i have tried and tried to set songs for my contacts and for my cellphone but to no avail!! I am disappointed 😒
