Do not use this wallet to stake anyting. When I try to unstake from shibaswap it just pulls up a blank receipt on bitpay where I cannot get my money out I have asked for help from customer service many times only to be ignored. This problem has been going on a while and I have been very patient only to receive no help
There is a problem with the mobile app on Android. On the web it works fine but when I try to create the wallet and access the key it does not recognize the password. That makes the app unusable. I tried erasing the wallet and then reinstalling it but the same issue. How to sync the web wallet with the mobile wallet? Once that is fixed I can change the rating, but until then I cannot.
I love this app and the resources it provides. Quick and easy transfers from any and all exchanges and wallets directly loaded to my debit card in the most user friendly way imaginable. Excellent job bitpay 🙌
Tried the business side of this company after multiple errors signing up was able to sign in once, more errors before was not even able to sign in again. On Google Chrome url does not even open. Good Luck
Are you serious!??? Near buying crypto re-directed on the payment site which requested so many personal information from me that I literally got shocked!! Are you guys serious there!?? That is not just some greedy company, would be to ridiculous, collecting this kind of data just for to pay for something… that is government service right there, collecting data about coin buyers period!! Thats has nothing to do with some security any more!!!
What a horrible experience. I pick your company/app to invest with your company. Nearly as soon as I did. The app started no lt be able to transfer my crypto for a bizzar amount asking for other crypto before I can transfer my crypto I wanted to send in the first place. This app is a easy to use, fast, reliable way to purchase crypto. I sign in and out throughout the day with no issues.
Both mobile and Linux apps work fine, up until you try to login. Once you input credentials and complete captcha, the webpage just hangs and stalls. Neither mobile or Linux programs will work. The website itself is fine, and let's you log in, however the wallet will not. This needs to be fixed asap
Spend crypto thru a card without having to sell assests then send off to an exchange. Wish i knew about this sooner. Smooth user friendly interface too. Linked my non custodial wallet.
Like most of crypto mobile apps, Bitpay is useless for sending money. Every time whem I try to send coins I ended on Bitpay downlad app place. Extremely frustrating!
Terrible software! Half the time it doesnt read my PIN. I joined to use to get AMC tickets but not listed. Worst, I have to BUY more crypto at bad rates, cant transfer from another wallet. Customer support very unresponsive.
Ridiculous fees! I have 40$ of USDCoin in a wallet in BitPay. In order to move it or send to another wallet, it wants to charge me over 55$ worth in miner fees. If I try exchanging my USDC for another coin, it says the minimum required to buy is approx 293$. Beyond stupid and ridiculous! They also don't allow me to use the 40$ USDC to top up the BitPay debit card. So it's basically being held for ransom. So beware! If you're left with anything under $100, you're SOL.
Bro I see some of these reviews talking on the outrageous gas to card fees for certain cryptos. I mean i may just be an oddball out or my choice of token is different, for me LTC been the easiest and cheapest route to go from like exchange to card but on an outer note maybe save a little on transfer fees ALGO is super quick and cheap to move the cryp around.

Just so everyone knows that if you buy btc on this app and forget your encrypted password you won't be able to do anything with the btc, it will be stuck in the btc wallet until you remember your encrypted password. You agreed to the terms of service so there is nothing you can do to get your encrypted password until you remember it. Basically bitpay did a douchbag move. Plus the support is horrible all you get is a automated email response not even a real person. Don't use this app.
It was fantastic but recently have been getting the error message, for me to wait 2 minutes, for about 1 and 1/2 months now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but the result is the same. It just keeps repeating try again in 2 minutes even after waiting 2 min. Edit: I took a screenshot of what happened and tried to send it but that's when I couldn't email the development team. To fix the issue I wiped the data and cache and imported my wallet from another device that it was loaded on.
Not sure if other people have had this problem, but I can't seem to swipe right to confirm transactions on my chromebook. For some reason the slider appears to be stuck and won't move, even with touch screen. It would be great to have a tap/hold to confirm instead of a swipe to confirm. If the support team reads this, please update the app so I can access my funds :( Overall though, BitPay is a pretty solid app and has pretty much all of the qualities of a good wallet.
It's pretty good. User interface is at least acceptable, and the fee schedule is fairly accurate, although you can set your own fees too, which I like. Ports for Windows and Linux also exist, and I've tried them, but they're basically the same thing and this one is the best because it feels in place, whereas the desktop versions try to emulate a phone. Ew. Coins are stored locally, although you can share your keyphrase between different platforms.
Not a good experience trying to set up a wallet (Android). I can create one but it never gives me the option to add a password. I go through the process setting up the account, and it never asks me for the first password or a recovery passphrase. It does ask me to input a Encrypted Passphrase which I set. The next step is that the app creates a wallet for me. When I go to back up, it tells me to "Enter encrypt password". I never set one so I have no idea what it is. I've deleted the old wallet and try to set up a new one, but goes through the same exact process and never asks me to set up the FIRST password, it just creates the wallet. So I'm in the never ending cycle. Really bad. Doubt I will ever use this.
Received a notice to update... Now I can't open. So to be on the safe side I didn't click the notification to update the app, and instead went to the store to see if an update was available (there wasn't). So I open the app, and just get a white screen. Tried twice and uninstalled. Reinstalled and it worked once before getting a white screen again.

I reinstalled the app, did all I could to get this app working just so I can loggin to make a crypto payment which now I can't because of this glitchy app
I've been using for awhile now. Lots of the times my transactions don't go trought giving 504 error code. In the past had issues with gift cards too... the support is terrible, once I opened a ticket and it took a week to hear back from their support... their site has a status that shows the state of their service and it is always showing no issues but doesn't reflect the actual status. I tried different os to make sure it is not my phone, pc, internet... I suggest you look for another option..
I've been using bitpay for years now. Can't really get easier than this; perhaps I'm just biased because I've been using it forever. As far as using the card goes, I have had issues with it in the past (I'm talking almost two years ago) at stores and the like. I've just received a replacement card and I'm really hoping integration with the app goes well. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you use coinbase!

Locked out of everything because the app keeps asking for an encrypt password I never set. Can't send any funds, but can receive. Can't obtain 12 word phrase because it says I have an encrypt password. I made a new account just to test this and had the same problem. Opened a ticket on their website and on github. Will change review if fixed.
