Was great before, but recently I am experiencing a weird bug. Whenever I close BitTorrent from background apps and reopen, I get a message that says, that BitTorrent will use my device data to improve its mechanics and give relevant ads. Even if I press "Awesome! I support that :)", the message will show again. I do not think this should be like that. If this is not supposed to be like that, please fix it!
I've been using BitTorrent classic on my PC for over a decade but suddenly and inexplicably It disappeared from my computer. I need to figure out what's going on, but in the meantime and in desperation I decided to try the Android version. I'm very happy and relieved that it worked. The only issue I have is that I paid for the Ad-Free version of the desktop client and there doesn't seem to be a way to enter my key into the Android version.
It's a good app. But I give it 3*s regarding the adds. If you try to cancel some of the adds you'll end up in PlayStore. Some of the adds don't have the cancel feature forcing one to press home button.
Obtrusive ads recently added. Long time user will now be finding a new client. It's never been feature rich or particularly well performing but the continuous pop-up ads are the final nail in the coffin. Using this app feels like a shady website now. Do not recommend.
I run BT Pro and have for as long as I can remember. Its a great piece of software and I find that on my galaxy it is just as powerful in these aspects its only using bandwidth. And it does a great job with that.
This as been the app that I use on my pc but on Android it's trashy and unbearable with the constant adds, settings are hard to manage unlike pc... Looks like a completely different company. I'll start using an alternative one because that's clearly what you want... Pay or leave, so I leave in Android...
Most of the time the app works really well but sometimes it stops downloading. I read an article to delete the app completely reboot the phone and reinstall it and that seems to work to get things moving again. Stopping and starting it doesn't work. Besides that, when it is working it works great. Also worth it to get the pro version to get rid of the ads
Having the hardest time finding the files on my phone after I download them. Super annoyed, I've googled instructions and I'm doing everything they say, but I download a file and I see it taking up room on my phone, but cannot find the file for the life of me.
Take nothing from the app it's best and all, the only reason why I didn't give it 5Star rating is merely because of its pop up apps and "Seeding" process I don't see the need to "Seed" after the download is complete and the buffering again is just another turn off. So those are the only disturbing factors that contribute a lot and at times you so keen on watching but they let you down. The other thing is redirecting of pages when you trying to download, I find that very annoying and time wastin
I like it. It does its job and its easy to use. The ads are a bit long for my liking, but they have the option to buy pro to get past the ads. I'm actually considering Pro, as the developers seem interested in growing and improving the app. Good job. I have been having trouble playing a m4b file, but I still think it's a great app. 5 stars.
Brilliant app, simple and efficient. I've been using this for years, never had a problem, enabled me to keep the kids entertained with movies for hours and hours. I'd be gutted if the service stopped. Great work, a perfect app and not constantly nagging me with ads, I love it. Many Thanks.
