BJJ Top Game Formula

A SCIENTIFIC AND SYSTEMATIC METHOD FOR PASSING THE GUARD AND DOMINATING TOP POSITION
Passing the guard is one of the most difficult, technical and frustrating things to do in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

There are so many different types of guard that memorising more and more random guard passing techniques just doesn’t work.

What you need is a guard passing system where every move, technique and strategy work together to get you to a dominant top position.

In Top Game Formula Rob Biernacki and Stephan Kesting
- two experienced BJJ black belts
- give you a scientific, systematic, and principle-based way to pass the guard and dominate the top position.

Some of what you’ll get includes:

* Easy adjustments to keep you safe from sweeps and submissions in the guard.

* Gripfighting strategies to get control while denying your opponent his favourite positions

* Guard passing techniques that rely on science and leverage instead of strength and athleticism

* The recovery tricks used by world champions to stay on top no matter what their opponents do on the bottom

* How to stabilise the top position while keeping your hands free so you can attack your opponent

* How to systematically break your opponent’s base, posture and structure to open up submission opportunities

I'm learning so much about the little battles (frames and levers) that I previously didn't understand. Previously my mind wasnt even primed to think in this way. I'm in South Korea learning, except I don't speak a great deal of Korean. This app had allowed me to understand the why of what we are learning in class. It's nice to know a move, but for me it's more important to understand the mechanics behind it. This app (and the others in the series) are really helping me with the why.

If you've rolled a little you will have noticed that the opportunities to apply a specific learned "move" rarely present themselves. You will also have seen that the better guys seem to be just doing something that you can't quite figure out as they consistently beat you in every scramble. This is the app you need.

With each release Professor Biernacki & Kesting are providing an incredible snapshot of the grappling landscape as it exists today. Will the techniques continue to develop and grow? Of course. But they're providing the necessary framework so that it will be easier for current and future practitioners to learn the core strategies and principles required for an effective gi and no-gi top game, and spend less time chasing "specialist" techniques that have a limited breadth. Another A+

Rob and Stephan proved with their app covering back control that they are providing better instruction than anything else on the market. This top game app is no exception, and is a must for any grappler ranging from white belt to black. The concepts and principles are fundamental to BJJ, and they have never been broken down in such a scientific approach that is also so easy to understand. I would pay 200 dollars for each of these apps, best BJJ investment I have ever made!

I downloaded the bottom game with Rob and Kesting. Noticed the difference right away in my guard recovery because of Mr.Biernacki scientific and simplified way that a simpleton like me can grasp the concept and applied at my dojo. Now I'm downloading the top game because of how much the other one had helped me.

If you're into concept-based learning of Jiu Jitsu, you will get your money's worth with this one! Stephan and Rob do a great job of breaking down the top game into several smaller topics. Looking forward to apply those concepts in my game!

I was hesitant to buy this app but I'm so glad I did. Definitely worth it. Please make it so when I go off the app to say answer a text and go back to the app the video resumes where I left off, thanks stephan!

Exceptionally thorough breakdown of concepts. The techniques are applicable on day one for beginners and a game changer for blues and purples. In my humble opinion a must for the most rapid rise through the ranks.

As usual, another quality product with both essential basics and advanced tutorials. Can't go wrong with Stephan and company.

a systematic look into jiu jitsu rather than the myriad thousands of techniques that float the internet. extremely happy with the purchase. the visiting black belt is a great teacher of the sport

I read another review that likened this app series to bjj engineering. If engineering was easier to understand, I would agree.... but Rob and Stephen make it so much simpler.

Excellent conceptual bjj instruction. Learning concepts is my favorite mode of learning for jiu jitsu and in general life. This series teaches macro concepts rather than showing moves with several parts. I love it. Cheers!

Using the concepts of base, posture, frames and levers, Rob Biernacki and Stephen Keating do a fantastic job of breaking down fundamentals.
