App is inconsistent; twice it would not validate monthly passes when boarding a bus, and once it randomly thought my pass was attached to another device (I don't have another device). Walking home with a 4 year old wasn't fun. Fare apps need to be 100% consistent and this app just isn't. Stick with paper passes and tickets unless you want to risk being kicked off at the bus stop.

Thank you so much! For someone who does not speak a word of magyarul, this app is a lifesaver. Buying tickets is very easy. Route planning is great. The only negative is that if you are following a route and you need to show your ticket, you have to backtrack all the way to the home screen, show the barcode, and then you lost the route and have to plan again. I suggest having a button from the route screen that loads the ticket, and returns you to the route after you validated the ticket.

It doesn't work well with dark theme (Android 11), application starts with "unknown error" (in app alert). [Edit] Thank you for bug fixing. White text on white boxes weren't visible well when dark mode was on. Now works correctly. Should fix also: Widget (has full perm) doesn't call/start the application, only when the app is running.

Very slow compared to mobiljegy so far, sometimes struggling to find mobile data to connect. The qr code reader is it's even slower compared to mobiljegy which was extremely realiable and fast. I've downloaded the app for convenience and to be faster not to miss my public transportation and be late because it's not reliable. Edit: Now I'm unable to purchase a ticket because the simple pay redirection doesn't work...

The app is bugged. I bought a monthly pass and I still have to scan it. Scanning worked properly for 2 times and then started giving an error that it cannot be scanned,although the app says the pass is perfectly valid until the end of March. That was not a problem until the inspectors wouldn't let me through without scanning. I lost 20 minutes of my time by going to the bkk office where I was asked to reinstalled the app. It helped but it then said the pass was purchased on another device.

The QR validation is painfully slow. (more than 10 seconds). Even outside of peak hours it is not realistic to wait for every passenger to load their tickets that way. Otherwise the app looks nice, rides are searchable, functionalities are good.

Never a good customer X if you remove physichal options to buy ticket before you make sure your app works, and when app crushes you fine the customer... The app in its current state looks nice and modern but on most devices even basic functions dont worl such as registration. Simply the app looses cookies and no detail given. In 2022 thats not enough.

Works fine, it's a bit slow and it would be great if it had an option of digitising your physical monthly pass and vice versa, the ability to print out your digital monthly pass

The app is useful, the updated design is pretty although it is a bit confusing, but what I am specifically upset about is that I have to sign up to even save some destinations. You do not need my email address, photo and personal data to remember a stop I visit often. This was not mandatory before. I do not wish to sign up, I wish to be able to save spaces as Favorites without signing up as before. Thank you if you consider changing this in the near future.

If you have the older version (BKK Futár) and can avoid updating it then keep it that way. The new app is horrible in both aethestics and functions. Deleted every favourite and you need to have an account now to save stops (so they can use your personal data) you can only search for vehicles (stops aren't there anymore). And what I wrote before: looks like they wanted to make it look like something you'd not want to look at. Not practical at all.

Horrible. First off you have removed the old app and installed this one on my device. Surely that is illegal. Secondly, the app is now completely unusable. There is no way to get past your ad for 30 and 90 minute tickets! I succeeded one time to get past but it keeps coming back, and I cannot get past it again. Thirdly, the one time I could get to it the Trip Planner locks up once you enter an address. This piece of $&!+ app is worthless. Give me back the old flawless app please.

The new app requires you to register to manage favourites (absolutely ridiculous), and searching for stops for schedule information is broken. The old app was bad but now it's useless.

UI still laggy most of the times! No dark mode! No station map PDFs! Using the Budapest Pass widget sometimes doesn't direct to the proper target (scan/show QR /metro) in case the app was previously open (app must be removed from RAM and opened again). Also, why do you use a big circle of 24 hours to choose the hours for the notification. Why don't you use the system built-in time selector!

UI Design became worse, it's just not intuitive any more. And making favorites now require an account.. f off. I'm a developer, and I bloody know that this is just a bloat service, to get user data. The original app, had a pretty good UI, and a good UX. Did anybody ask for a now UI? I don't think so. The only good thing about this app, that the server response time is much quicker. But that's just backend, so the OG app backend could have been rewritten "a bit".

Lack of ticket types. At the automats, you can buy 10 pieces ticket for a more favorable price, but you cannot find it here. Also, you cannot buy HÉV tickets out of Budapest, which would be very useful. I don't get, if you can buy volán busz tickets, why not HÉV tickets. Why can't I find the same tickets as at an automat?

Buggy app, the route planner shows different arrival times than the original schedule. I just lost 20 minutes because of this.

The new version is garbage. BKK Futár was great, this BudapestGO is a bad interface which managed to drain both my battery and mobile net quota the same day... so I went to APKPure and downgraded to the old version. At least that is still functional... if that breaks I'll just Google Maps instead.

The time based ticket message cannot be dismissed and according to the play store I'm using the latest version. What a garbage. Update after their reply: The update now is available through play store. Regardless, message boxes of this kind should never block the app UI - there will be people who are trying to get on the tram during when a new update is just being released...

The app is literally unusable.. i can't close the window that's telling me about the new, time based tickets. I re-downloaded the app, still tge same issue, i can't access the map because the notification window covers the whole screen

Lmao got fined cuz the app just refused to work. And then when it does work, takes like 2 minutes for a transaction and the bus driver just idles the whole bus because the transaction is still going through. This is the true Hungarian way!

Much better than BKK futár and Mobilejegy together. Scanning functionality does not work. Hope generated QR code can be properly scanned by BKK ticket controlling personnel. EDIT: latest update from March 28th did not save the QR scanning issues. Is there a schedule for this fix?

It works well, but reading the older comments I think it wasn't like this always. Dear developer team, please test more before you release. If you do so, you'll get 5* rating instead of 2.5. You can also release snapshots to a small set of users, no need to use the whole Hungarian population for testing. ❤️😊 Ohh also, where are the 10 pcs ticket bundles? Why 9 is the maximum amount to buy?

For me, it worked smoothly. Would be cool if it could use Google Pay to pay and I wouldn't have to trust the app with my payment details. Privacy-wise not great, but overall, my experience was pretty good.

If i could give this a zero then I would. It happily takes your money when you're trying to buy a ticket. Then it just times out and fails. Then you're left red faced in front of bus drivers when you're trying to get this to work. If this app doesn't issue tickets successfully then please take the option away. You can't go wrong with old school cash and paper ticket.

You do not need my personal informarion to have favourites. Favourite bus lines do not take a priority, so you will have to scroll and look for the line you need. Your person icon takes priority over stops, so you will have to zoom in to be able to see a stop. This new update ruined the old app. It does not bring any other beneftis than the online tickets

The overall experience is good, BUT pleae make a 5 unit wide widget or make the current one resizeable, because on my big screen it's annoying that there's empty space near it. Thanks.

New version of the app is horrible: small cosmetic improvement of the UI, major downgrade of the UX. You can't save favorites without registering for an account, can't see all nearby vehicles on the map, if you switch to another app for a bit longer this app freezes and you lose the route you had planned, among many other nuisances. Feels like the app wasn't properly tested before going live. If you still have version 4.20, DO NOT UPDATE!
