Not sure why this problem suddenly began but the app keeps crashing after an ad plays. Pretty irritating. Prior to this issue, I really enjoyed this app. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache, clearing data...no improvement. I see many others are having the same issue....please fix this! I loved this app.
8/28/2020 UPDATE: The new update worked! No more crashing, and no more kicking me out. --- I love the wallpapers; they're all beautiful and unique, but the app keeps crashing. It crashes while I'm scrolling, or trying to download and says that the app isn't responding. I've lost a few wallpapers because it's kicked me out while trying to download it. I've force stopped the app and restarted it, uninstalled and reinstalled on my phone, and then tried it on my tablet, but the same thing happened.
I really love this app! It's so fantastic that they have the mind to make darkish wallpaper. My favourite colour is black by the way. I just think that the app could make more wallpapers with poems and maybe a drawing, but I personally think it's better without a drawing to make it more... "realistic" I don't know how to explain it... Well... I just wanted to say that if you are wanting to find a app that has black art I really recommend!
Like many others have already stated, the app was fine till it stopped working. It used to fail saving photos and now it says it saved but there's nothing in my gallery. After a reinstall the app now just crashes when I try to even favorite a wallpaper! Shame because there have been a lot of good wallpapers on this app. Uninstalled. Maybe someday it'll work again.
Quality is really bad, I'm assuming due to degradation from re-uploading and files that have been transferred over and over. These are NOT 4k quality, trust me. If you don't care about quality though, then there are plenty of interesting wallpaper designs. Many of them appear to be stolen though, as far as I can tell. But seeing as it's a free app, I don't see the harm.
I really am surprised to admit that I spend a lot of time on this app and quite honestly, I can't think of a bad thing to say about it. Awesome selection of wallpapers - and new ones everyday that aren't recycled from other apps but new images. Straightforward, no muss and no fuss. Never had a problem with it. Thanks for making an application I was happy to rate ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a great app that I have been using for ages now, I can say that it's probably the best wallpaper app, and I can trust that the backgrounds download, and they don't disappear when used like with other apps. The only issue I have is that the app keeps closing a lot, even when I don't want it to. This is only a recent thing, however, and I suppose it will be fixed in the next update?
All of the backgrounds are very gorgeous and can express the way you are. I love this app a lot, because there are a lot of wallpapers that i can scroll through and decided which i want. The only thing id change is maybe adding a search bar, or catigorizing the wallpapers > itd be easier to find the stuff your into (Im a goth/emo girl, so yeah). Other than that, its a great app and id recomend it to people that like all sorts of things.
Worst thing I have ever done, yes images are nice and look great as your wallpaper but I get constant adds even when the app isn't running, I have adverts on my lock screen so instead of the background I've picked from them I get a advert for tic tok. Deleted app and all images and it's still doing it, going have to factory set my phone.
The app has very beautiful, clear pictures BUT it won't let you save or download a single one it just keeps coming up with FAILD. What is the point of this app if you can't save any of them? I have tried uninstalling the app and redownloading but it hasent changed anything. Please fix this!
Amazing Black wallpapers collected in this app. There are some wallpapers which are not completely Black(contains different colors), but are drawn or edited to give feel of dark. Also some artworks quality are not that great, even for smartphones. But overall I'm satisfied with the app.
Seems like it would be great except every time I view one I like it will go to an AD then closes out! So frustrating. Other than that I think it would be a great App
Upon opening this app, I was immediately in a state of shock & awe as my eyes feasted on the beautiful images before me. What to choose, what to choose? I am so grateful to the talented team who created this. I am also loving how its not overly done and that we're not inundated by ads. Its a quiet and beautiful appstore experience. This is the worst wallpaper app... once U open it and it keeps on closing. You have to open it 1000 of times for seeing the opened app for 1 second. And then comes several ads. This app is so annoying. But yes the picture collection is good...but that's useless because of these annoying things!!!!!!!!
Like many other posted reviews, I cannot download any of the wallpapers. Every time I try, it comes up "Faild" and I'm unable to download. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times - no change.
I loved this app but for some reason after the ad it closes I tried multiple times downloading and deleting the app. İt doesn't work. I tried to send a feedback on the app it said check connection... I had connection. Like what? I really like this app and want to continue to use it please fix this issue
I don't even know what the wallpapers look like because everything takes forever to load. I've Even tried connecting to wifi.... I know the most recent update was supposed to make loading faster, but it's having the opposite effect for me.
Cool pics. If you like a dark picture to get the contrast you want then this is the app you should get. Most of them are great for what I needed them for. 100% free too. There are ads, but you can get out of them as quick as you can hit the back button.
Love the black art wallpaper choices..... A lot of really cool ones to choose from....and not only that but you don't have to keep the app on your phone you can download whatever wallpaper you want to keep and maybe use later.... A definite must have if you like unique art 😉
I really really love this app the wallpapers are always clear and they have a ton of cute ones! The only thing that makes me dock 2 stars is that it won't let me download the wallpapers anymore :/ i even uninstalled and reinstalled to try and fix it but that didn't work
Well this app was great, i did not have to install anotther app just too work this thing, and some of the pictures in it was really hiving me a great vibe maybe, i dunno i just connect or understand the words that are in the pictures, but really it was awsome! I do not regret downloading it, at all
There are a lot of awesome wallpaper to choose from at least for those who are into more darker sometimes scarey themes. Probably not for the person who likes colorful cheery themes. To each his own. But I love it.
It's an amazing wallpaper app that u can completely trust but all I ask is some more plain messages that are upsetting like "life is rubbish but we all have to get used to it". I think it would be more popular if we had more of these as everyone has their moments.
Working but almost unusable due to the outrageous glut of ads and the frequent crashes. Pics can't be downloaded directly on my Android 10 phone but can be saved by sharing.
Wallpaper collection is nice but they aren't high quality, the resolution is bad and the wallpapers look pixelated on my phone. They may work fine for smaller screens. Very disappointing.
this app has the best Dark Art I found. I also love how easy it is to use. They do throw in a few commercials during this selection process it's not any big deal. App runs great for my phone and tablet

It's a good app just one issue, the app keeps crashing everytime i download 1-5 wallpapers making me close it and reopen it. It's pretty annoying but it's a good app nonetheless, please fix the problem.
It's suddenly become glitchy...every time I try to tap/pic a piece if art I like, it opens an ad instead!!! PLEASE FIX!!!! Otherwise I love this app!!!😍
Every time I try to open a wallpaper, I get an ad (not surprised or upset) and then when I close out of said ad, the app crashes. I've been using Black Art Wallpapers for a while now and I've never had this happen before. Not enough to lose a full star, considering how long the app has worked flawlessly for me, but still something to look into.
